Chapter 175 A river

The Boeing passenger plane slowly landed at Hong Kong Kai Tak International Airport. Ryan and his group had just walked out of the checkpoint, and Universal Pictures's staff in Hong Kong had already come up.

"There are a lot of fans gathering outside the airport." Someone reminded me.

"Is that so? Is it more than Sydney?"

The Far East is an extremely unfamiliar place for Nicole.

"There are probably thousands of people." Another person said.

"Okay, Nicole, I'll protect you."

As the group walked out of the VIP channel, Ryan squeezed his eyes at Nicole, a little ahead of her.

The sound of the camera shutter clicking and the silver-white light that kept illuminating the flash had already become a habit for Ryan and Nicole. Under the escort of George and others, they walked out first and waved to the surroundings frequently.

The reporter's attention was almost entirely focused on them, and as for the people behind Catherine Kennedy and other behind, they were directly ignored.

"What are they talking about?" Nicole asked in Ryan's ear.

The Hong Kong reporter was a disciple of the United Kingdom. At this time, he was surrounded and asked a messy question. However, some people were using English and some people were using Cantonese, and Nicole couldn't understand it at all.

"It's nothing, go quickly."

Ryan was not interested in tangling with them in front of the airport, and pulled Nicole forward with all his might. He just walked out of the airport hall, and what was coming was the dark crowd and the sound of tsunami.

"Your fans, wave to you."

Listening to the messy Cantonese language, Ryan pulled Lanico by the arm. The Australian girl was not a fool. She rolled her eyes slightly, "Don't say there are no fans in it!"

How could that be possible? There are many people holding posters of Ryan's movies or posters of his records in their hands.

There were too many people gathered here. Ryan saw that it was not just the security guards at the airport. There were also many Hong Kong police officers maintaining order at the scene, especially when he and Nicole waved to them, these people burst into higher screams. Many people moved closer to the front, as if they could squeeze through the thin wall of human beings in the storm at any time.

After signing a few names in a hurry, Ryan and Nicole got into the car and faced the young men and women surrounding the car. It was not until more than half an hour later that they left the road in front of Kai Tak Airport.

"It turns out that I am also very famous in the Far East." Nicole sighed a few words.

"Yes, Nicole Kidman is an international superstar." Ryan said intriguingly. "Look at the people in front of the airport, they are almost going crazy for you."

"Oh, is this Hong Kong? It looks very good." Nicole ignored Ryan and looked out the car window.

"Hong Kong is the third largest financial center in the world after New York and London, and the second largest film production center in the world after Hollywood..."

Ryan talked endlessly and introduced a lot of things to Nicole about Hong Kong. Nicole stared at him curiously and asked for a long time. "Dear, I don't remember you've been to Hong Kong."

"Of course I haven't been here." He has only been here for the first time in his past and present lives, "I read it from the travel manual."

After saying that, he took out a travel manual from his backpack and threw it to Nicole.

A convoy of Mercedes-Benz drove all the way to Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon and headed straight to the Peninsula Hotel.

Before entering the hotel, they were inevitably harassed by reporters. Fortunately, over the years, both Ryan and Nicole had already adapted to this lifestyle and walked through the lobby with a Gothic cylindrical roof. They took the elevator to directly reach the floor reserved by the crew.

Although he came from Sydney and did not cross several time zones, under Nicole's drive, Ryan walked into his own bedroom in the luxurious suite and caused the jet lag.

It was already dusk when Ryan finished washing up and walked out of the bedroom. Nicole seemed to have woken up long ago, sitting on the sofa in the living room, looking through several English magazines boredly.

"Hungry?" Nicole asked.

"A little bit." Ryan sat beside her habitually.

"What do you want to eat?" Nicole put down the magazine.

Can you eat it? Ryan almost blurted out and quickly pursed his lips, "Nicole, why don't we go out for a walk?"

"Go out?" Nicole seemed a little disagreeing, "I heard from Kate that the security here doesn't seem to be very good."

"Come on, Nicole." Ryan muttered dissatisfied. "Last year, the Los Angeles Riots even had the Marines dispatched. Shouldn't we go out again?"

"You always make sense!"

The dispute between the two will end most of the time with Nicole's compromise, "Go back to the room and change clothes."

Ryan changed into a short-sleeved sportswear. When he came out, Nicole's door was still closed. Women's clothes were changing and it took a lot of time.

With a click, the door opened and Nicole walked out. Her long golden hair was tied into a ponytail and hung behind her head. Her fair cheeks were not covered with pink. It was less cold and bright than when she was dressed up, but it was more fresh. Her exposed arms looked smoother than a silky white T-shirt. Her legs were long and slender with light-colored tight jeans.

"Dear, don't you know me anymore?"

Nicole put on a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses, stepped on her handbag, and took another pair of sunglasses and put them on Ryan's nose.

"You're so pretty now, Nicole."

Ryan couldn't help but praise, and Nicole raised her eyebrows, "What do you mean is that I'm not pretty before?"

Women can tolerate some people saying that she has flaws in character, but they will never tolerate some people saying that she has flaws in appearance. Ryan is not a fool, and his head is like a pendulum. "I used to be beautiful, and Nicole is the most beautiful no matter how she dresses up."

Hearing this sentence, Nicole's eyes were filled with light, and she seemed to be very happy. She pinched Ryan's ears in habit, "Okay, for your sweet mouth, I'll cover all your expenses tonight."

You are so generous! When you walked out of the room, Ryan rolled his eyes. From childhood to now, she has always been responsible for his expenses except for the bulk expenses.

Calling George and asking for a car and a driver from the hotel, Ryan pulled Nicole to start a short sightseeing trip.

"Mr. Jenkins, Miss Kidman, where do you want to go?"

The drivers who can serve at Peninsula Hotel have considerable qualities. The English he asked was also in a London accent.

"Find a specialty restaurant and solve the dinner first."

Ryan looked at Nicole, remembering that she had never been used to pure Chinese food, so she had to say, "It's better to be Western."

"Ryan..."

Just as Nicole was about to say something, Ryan interrupted, "That's it, Nicole. I can't eat it at that time, you can watch it?"

Although it is extremely troublesome to jump out, he is so careful when caring for people. He knows everything except the most hidden secrets in his heart!

Before he knew it, Nicole found himself holding Ryan's hand and when he looked at it, he found that he was still so calm and energetic, just like when they held hands tightly over the years.

Nicole's hands were extremely slender, Ryan knew this very well, and his hands were equally slender. Although they were not bigger than hers now, one day they could completely accommodate her.

As he grows older, Ryan's confidence is also growing.

The car first took a walk around Central. Ryan and the other two entered a French restaurant under the introduction of the driver, enjoyed a French meal in Hong Kong, and then went directly to the tourist attractions in the middle of the mountain.

Standing on a high place, overlooking the dimly lit Oriental Pearl, it feels a unique feeling, and the Victoria Harbour ships are coming and going in the distance, making a busy scene.

"Nothing different from other metropolises," Nicole muttered.

"Then what difference do you want?" Ryan looked over with a smile, and Nicole shrugged, "When you go to different places, you always have to see some different scenery."

"You are prejudiced, dear Nicole." Ryan stretched as he felt the sea breeze blowing, "Why didn't you say that when you were in Sydney?"

"Dear, because that's my hometown."

Hometown? Ryan sighed and said, "This way, Nicole, I'll take you to see some different places."

"Let's go." Ryan pulled Nicole up and greeted George and the driver as he got into the car, saying, "Go to the East Railway Station in the New Territories."

Hong Kong East Railway Station? It’s not a scenic spot, what are you going to do? The driver is a little strange, but he has good professional ethics. It is natural for customers to spend money on their services.

The journey was a little far, and I encountered several traffic jams. By the time I rushed over, it was almost ten o'clock in the evening.

The driver parked the car in a nearby parking lot, and George fell behind, while Ryan and Nicole chatted without a word, walking towards the brightly lit place.

Ryan turned his head and looked across the river from time to time. The red and white building was particularly conspicuous. Although it was very late, there were still many people passing the level. I could vaguely see many people in uniform patrolling back and forth.

The two quickly chose a place that was easy to see, and Nicole didn't understand why Ryan brought her here.

"Is China opposite?" she asked curiously.

"Hmm~"

Ryan nodded and just looked into the distance.

"They don't look different from here."

Nicole was very curious. After all, no one could do less than anyone else.

About half an hour later, the night wind gradually became colder, and Nicole caressed the exposed skin, "Let's go back, Ryan, it's a little cold."

"All right."

Ryan nodded, glanced at the last moment, no longer had no nostalgia, turned around and strode to catch up with Nicole Kidman walking in front.

Let the past be dissipated with the wind. On the other side of the river are two completely different worlds from yourself.

Your future is in Hollywood, and climbing to the most powerful layer of Hollywood is the next goal you have to strive for! Ryan followed Nicole into the car.

"What happened, my dear." Nicole seemed to feel some fluctuations in his mood.

"Nothing." Ryan made a reassuring gesture and said to the driver, "Go back to the hotel."

A river separates two worlds and two lives. (To be continued, please search for Astronomy, novels are better, updated and faster!
