Chapter 1145, Tsarist Russia's February Revolution

Although life is not very good under China's supervision and not as happy as the Provisional Government's publicity, it is much better than the previous years when the days of sleeping in the open and uneven hungered life. At least I have a stable job and you don't have to worry about being starved to death or being frozen to death.

In the eyes of many Tsarist Russians, the Tsarist government is bad, and even if China is not good, it is not bad. Under such a sharp contrast, of course, there will be many people who are willing to make a living in China.

Therefore, the recruitment of railway workers has attracted widespread attention from the beginning. Many Tsarist Russians came to obtain priority for obtaining official identity certificates of the Republic of China. Although this is a matter of betraying the country and the nation, for many people, this betrayal is precisely to get rid of the situation.

In just a few days, the Northern Affairs Office has recruited nearly 9,000 people.

Then the headquarters began to send a convoy to Wulianghai and transported the workers to Kulun assembly one after another.

After half a month, the main force of Tsarist Russia finally withdrew from Europe to the country, but the army did not rush to Wulianghai as soon as possible. On the contrary, after being split, it was immediately sent to various parts of the country to suppress the strike movement.

Starting from the end of January, the Russian State Social Labor Party has established a general strike movement, and Petrograd is only the gathering center of the strike movement, while other cities and cities also have Bolshevik branches leading their respective strike movements

Faced with the extreme Tsarist government, facing the situation where the country cannot guarantee national security, the people's most basic living conditions, and even launching foreign wars that are extravagant and evil, the Tsarist Russian people can no longer tolerate such a brutal regime. Anyway, they will starve after labor, so they simply do nothing and use their blood to launch the most harshest demonstrations to those in power.

This wave broke out at the end of January, and in a blink of an eye it expanded to several times in February

The streets and alleys of Petrograd were filled with the parade workers, and all kinds of exciting slogans were shocking.

The "February Revolution" that shakes the Tsarist regime has unveiled all the curtains and has entered the historical stage vigorously

Faced with almost crazy strikes and marches across the country, local governments and bourgeoisie immediately realized the seriousness of the incident. This not only threatened the safety of local governments, but also directly damaged the interests of the bourgeoisie. Whether it was the enlightened bourgeoisie or the conservative capital bureaucrats, they immediately submitted strong suggestions to the Tsarist government, requiring the Tsarist government to allow capitalists to participate in politics, reform the pedantic situation of the country, and alleviate the conflicts among all classes in the country.

However, Nicholas II has brutally suppressed many bourgeois revolutions from 1905 to 1907. To this day, he still does not want the power of the state to fall into the hands of these bourgeois people. He not only wrongly analyzed the domestic situation and believed that as long as the bourgeoisie could be suppressed, he did not know that the strike action had nothing to do with the bourgeoisie, and even did not conform to the interests of the bourgeoisie at all.

Faced with the strong demands of the domestic bourgeoisie, Nicholas II threatened with a strong tone. If the bourgeoisie attempts to interfere with the state power, he will order the disbandment of the National Duma Conference.

The word "Duma" is transliterated in Russian дyma, meaning "parliament". Tsar Russia was originally a feudal country. After the revolutionary movement broke out in 1905, Tsar Nicholas II announced the convening of the "State Duma" between September and October of the same year, granting certain powers in 1906 and 1907. The first and second state Duma were produced, but it was disbanded soon afterwards. Later, the third and fourth state Dumas were produced. Its power was not very strong, but it was nominally the state parliament after the victory of the October Revolution in 1917, the Soviet Union established the Soviet system of "unity of deliberation and action" in 1993, and Russia restored the title of "State Duma" again.

Under the tough attitude of the Tsar, the bourgeoisie could only swallow their anger and helplessness, and the other ones could only swallow their anger and have no actual power in their hands. The State Duma is the only institution that connects the bourgeoisie with administration. If the Tsar really disbands the State Duma, then the bourgeoisie from Tsarist Russia would really have nothing.

Workers' strike cut off the operation of capital, disbanding the Duma state is the last bargaining chip of the bourgeoisie. The people who originally controlled most of the country's wealth will be penniless until they are fully sure. They dare not take the risk to announce this step.

In fact, the "February Revolution" in history lasted for a total of three months. From the initial workers' marches and strikes to the bourgeois demonstrations, to the later armed uprisings, it directly led to the tsar being hijacked by the Imperial Guards. At that time, the Tsar indeed planned to transfer back to the main force from the front line. Unfortunately, the revolution happened too quickly. Before his order was issued, the rebellion of the Imperial Guards had already gained the upper hand.

It is precisely because of this that the Tsar was forced to abdicate

But now, because the Chinese team made a thrust in December last year, the Tsar was transferred back to the main army in advance and returned to the country. Russia's history began to go on a fork in the road from this moment. Now the whole country is only in the stage of workers' strike, but the Tsar immediately ordered the main army withdrawn from Europe to carry out a tough suppression.

Starting from late February, the "February Revolution" that was initially vigorous and powerful suddenly evolved into a cruel military cleansing activity. It was assigned to the Tsarist army all over the country, accompanying local police, military and police brutally suppressed the revolutionary uprising, especially the center of the national strike mobilization. The Tsarist army of 10,000 generals drove into the city with guns and bullets. There was almost no warning, and launched an attack on the marching crowd.

The national strike was severely scattered, but the vitality of the revolution was tenacious. At the beginning of the armed suppression, all the workers fled in scattered and continued to suppression. Those who seemed cowardly awakened suddenly, angry, survived, and were completely disappointed with the Tsarist government. These emotions were distorted together and finally turned into a crazy counterattack.

Workers picked up hoes, hammers, shovels, and launched an attack on the Tsarist army regardless of life and death.

However, this was originally a backward counterattack method. Apart from causing a lot of casualties, it did not hinder the Tsarist army at all.

But the workers still advanced without hesitation and charged again and again at the muzzle.

Petrograd, Volgograd, Siberia and even Moscow have such nearly suicide counterattacks everywhere

Although the workers were unable to severely damage the Tsarist army, this revolutionary activity that exchanged blood and life for the right to survive deeply brought shock to many people, whether it was the bourgeoisie, the landlord, or the bureaucrats with a little conscience. When facing this storm, they all showed sympathy and grief.

The workers are just for their jobs, and the purpose of the revolution is nothing more than to improve the national environment. From ten years ago to today, the revolutionaries of Tsarist Russia have tried to achieve the purpose of reform through various means. Non-violent, violent, petitioned, and requested, but these methods have not been truly valued by the Tsarist government.

The Tsar nobles living deep in the Winter Palace only knew to firmly hold the power in their own hands, but did not consider the general trend of world change and the near-destructive social order in the country.
