In 1987, Curt Coben formed the "Nirvana" band in his hometown of Aberdeen.
In 1989, Nirvana published his first album on SubPop, with mediocre sales.
In 1991, Nirvana released his second record, with sales exceeding 10 million. Among them, SmellsLikeTeenSpirit surpassed Michael Jackson, who made a comeback in 1992, and became the number one in the singles.
In 1993, Nirvana launched "INUTERO", and the "non-mainstream" commentary was popular in the United States.
On April 5, 1994, Curt Coben died at his home in Seattle. His body was found on April 8. Police found that he committed suicide by shooting himself after injecting heroin at the age of 27.
Within one year after Coben's death, about 150 teenagers around the world committed suicide due to his death.
