Chapter 1 Watching TV and Raising Fish

It was lights-out time in ten minutes. Shan Sihua huddled in the innermost corner of the shop, silently praying in her heart that the vicious "cangba" would never make things difficult for her.

It was already his second night in jail, and only three days had passed since the public arrest and sentencing meeting. In Shan Sihua's opinion, it was no less than three years.

This is an ordinary prison cell, with rows of large, open bunks, occupying two-thirds of the prison cell. There is a large spittoon placed closest to the corner inside for the convenience of the prisoners.

The large spittoon was closest to Shan Sihua, and since it was hot summer, there was a constant unpleasant smell entering his nostrils.

Shan Sihua frowned and did not dare to say anything, for fear of attracting a beating from the "Cang Ba".

At this moment, "Cangba" was sitting on the big bunk near the door, smoking a filter cigarette comfortably, looking askance at Shan Sihua through the smoke.

"Cang Ba" looks about fifteen or sixteen years old. He is as thin as Shan Sihua, with a fair face, and his front teeth have been darkened by cigarette smoke at a young age. His roommates call him "Brother Gang."

Seeing Brother Gang looking at him sideways, Shan Sihua couldn't help but shudder. He quickly turned around, pressed his face against the corner of the wall, folded his arms and rolled up into a ball.

There are a total of 10 people in this prison cell, all of whom are teenagers.

I still remember the first night. Shan Sihua, who knew nothing, put his things on the bed near the door as soon as he came in. As soon as he sat down and took a breath, he was slapped heavily on the forehead.

"You Ma Lipi, do you know the rules? Do you sit in this seat?" A voice shouted rudely.

Shan Sihua touched the burning back of his head and asked in confusion: "What are the rules?"

As soon as the words came out, the roommates immediately burst into laughter. A rude voice continued: "Our rules here, this position belongs to the boss, do you understand?"

"Oh" Shan Sihuanuonuo responded and stood up quickly. The others stopped laughing and quickly gathered around, all with evil expressions on their faces.

Faced with so many aggressive eyes, Shan Sihua felt timid in her heart. She looked around and asked, "Then where should I sleep?"

"There." The rude voice pointed at the large spittoon in the corner, "You go and sleep next to the goldfish bowl."

Seeing everyone staring at him like knives, Shan Sihua didn't dare to be lazy. He rolled up his daily necessities and hid in the back. He thought to himself that he didn't know what the rules in this prison were like. He had just just

Come in and follow their arrangements to avoid unnecessary trouble.

You must know that he used his last night in the detention center to write a letter of repentance to You Li. He was ready to reform and strive for a reduced sentence so that he could be released earlier and see You Li earlier.

The letter has been sent, but I wonder if Youli will forgive her impulsiveness and will she reply to her letter.

Thinking of this, Shan Sihua couldn't help but raise his eyes and look around, and found that everyone was still looking at him strangely.

No wonder, since I'm new here, people will definitely want to look at me more. I'd better keep silent and sleep.

"What did your child do to come in?" Someone spoke up and broke the silence. Before Shan Sihua could react, the rude voice from before immediately answered: "Hey, new guy, Brother Gang wants to ask you something, get up and talk.

"

The new guy is of course Shan Sihua.

Shan Sihua, who was thinking about how to reform properly, had no choice but to sit up after hearing this and replied in a low voice: "I committed... rape." When he said the last three words, his voice was as soft as a mosquito's cry.

"Speak louder and speak clearly." The voice that asked the question before reminded me.

Shan Sihua noticed that the person asking the question was a thin young man, sitting where he had been coaxed away just now, with a cigarette in his mouth.

He should be the boss here, the "Brother Gang" in everyone's mouth.

Helpless, Shan Sihua raised her voice and repeated those three words, lowering her head and not daring to look at everyone's reactions.

"Oh, then which woman are you dating?" Brother Gang walked up to Shan Sihua with interest and asked.

Everyone also gathered around, wanting to hear the answer.

"Yes, she is a female classmate in our class..." Shan Sihua replied in an extremely unnatural manner, wishing everyone could disperse quickly.

"Reli Lima, I hate people who force women to do things the most. You are a good kid, and you even fucked a female classmate. You, Ma Lipi, are really not a man!" Brother Gang spat out these words angrily, and the atmosphere suddenly became tense.

.

The other eight people took advantage of the situation and made sarcastic remarks one after another, accusing Shan Sihua of being wrong. There was a strong possibility that they were ready to take action at any time.

She didn't expect things to be so bad. Shan Sihua secretly complained: If I had known this, I shouldn't have answered honestly. Now that I see everyone's fierce aura, I shouldn't want to hit someone.

If a fight breaks out on the first day you come in, how can you try to get a shorter sentence in the future?

The frightened Shan Sihua hurriedly defended: "I didn't mean it. I did something stupid because I drank too much that night, and I didn't want to do that."

"Haha, didn't others do it on purpose when the wall was pointed?" Brother Gang said with a bad smile: "Since you are here, you are a sinner, why do you say it was intentional or not?"

"Brother Gang, don't bother this guy, let him watch TV and raise goldfish." A rude voice suggested.

What do you mean by watching TV and raising fish? Shan Sihua was confused and felt vaguely that this was not a good thing. He was even more horrified at the moment.

"No rush, he just came today, let him have a full sleep first." Brother Gang said coldly: "Tomorrow we will prepare all the things, and then let his baby watch TV and raise fish."

As soon as these words came out, everyone immediately dispersed and fell down on the big bunk obediently, preparing to sleep. Brother Gang also slowly lay down back to the boss's position near the door and did not continue to attack.

In the blink of an eye, the prison room became quiet. Then, the lights went out.

Shan Sihua, who was lying in the innermost position, could not sleep peacefully. He endured the unpleasant smell and was thinking of countermeasures quickly.

According to Brother Gang, they want to attack me tomorrow night. As for what method they will use, they are completely confused.

I am new here and I don’t know anyone. If I get screwed by them, who will I take out my anger on?

Shan Sihua wanted to explain the situation to the correctional officer. He had to change the prison cell anyway.

But the next day, Shan Sihua never found the right opportunity to tell the correctional staff. In this way, he spent the first day of prison life worried.

Night finally fell.

Shan Sihua curled up in the corner of the wall like a frightened rabbit, hoping that "Cang Ba" Brother Gang would not embarrass him.

Just after ten o'clock, the lights in the prison room were turned off on time. Shan Sihua secretly rejoiced: Could it be that Brother Gang saw that he was cowardly and was not ready to touch him.

However, what is supposed to come will always come.

It’s a blessing, not a curse, it’s a curse that cannot be avoided!

Just when Shan Sihua thought everything would be fine if he turned off the lights, a white light suddenly lit up in front of him.
