Chapter II Equality

Matthew only felt dizzy,

Fortunately, the feeling of floating in the air did not last long, and his feet quickly stepped onto the ground again.

After concentrating on his mind and looking around, he found himself in a strange space.

It looks like a medieval hotel, with a wide and dark surroundings. Half a candle burning faintly on the wooden table, dusty floors, paved beds, a few shiny oak furniture, a fireplace with green fire, a half-closed windows, and a cup of hot tea...

There was no one else in the whole room except myself, and noisy sounds came from outside the room from time to time.

Just as Matthew was thinking about whether to go outside or not—

With a "bang", it seemed that the door of the room was pushed open.

Matthew turned around and saw a girl in a black windbreaker breaking in:

"Is it Mr. Matthew Wakefield?" she asked loudly.

The girl in black is very young. Judging from her figure and appearance, her age may be eighteen or nineteen years old. No, the growth and development curve of a white woman generally develops earlier, and it is not impossible to be only fifteen or sixteen years old.

The door opening and closing are both casual, and obviously they are not wary of themselves in the room.

And judging from her relaxed expression, she didn't look hostile.

"Yes." Matthew nodded.

"I think you should have a lot of things to ask me," the other party said straight to the point: "But first of all, I want to tell you that you are a wizard. To be more precise, you should be a minor wizard; just by studying at Hogwarts, you will definitely be an excellent male wizard in the future."

Wizard, this is not a shocking fact, Matthew discovered it a few months ago.

But he still tried to make a very surprised expression.

"And I am Penelo Crivatt, the predecessor of Hogwarts, and will be your guide in the world of wizards." The girl continued.

The name Penelo Crivat is indeed a character in "Harry Potter".

That letter from Hogwarts should be true.

But why does it feel a little strange in the dark?

Matthew thought a little nervously, but he did not express this emotion on his face; instead he tried to show his curiosity.

"Mr. Wickfield, perhaps in your past memory, words like magic and wizards exist in fairy tales." Penelo said jokingly: "But it is not the case. Magic exists in every corner of the world, but you were in the world where the Muggles were before and could not really touch it."

She added: "Muggles are ordinary people who do not possess magical abilities. That's what we wizards call them."

"Like this thin piece of paper, in just a dozen seconds, it will bring you from Northampton, 70 miles away to London; this is the power of magic!" As she said, she picked up a piece of paper on the ground and stuffed it into Matthew's hand.

This piece of paper is the previous letter from Hogwarts.

"Is this London?" Matthew asked softly.
