Chapter 702 This is Transformers, not T1000!

During the busy shooting, time moved to 2006. The arrival of the new year had no effect on the crew of "Transformers". Except for the plot used to shoot the final battle on the weekend, most of the time, the crew gradually moved to more human scenes.

The crew rented a temporary parking lot and several nearby houses in the small town of Basadina as an exterior location for shooting.

In order to shoot the scenes about used cars here, General Motors provided the crew with nearly 300 old cars, including the old Camaro sports car that was transformed into Bumblebee.

As one of the most important target models for advertising, Chevrolet, a subsidiary of GM, has specially created two concept versions of Camaro sports cars for the crew. These two sports cars have unique attributes from components to engines. Only four other sports cars with the same standard are on the market worldwide.

Of course, the regular version of this sports car is not expensive, and Chevrolet itself is aimed at the youth market.

Unfortunately, Ryan has no special hobby for cars or something, otherwise he would have gotten a unique Hornet.

The male protagonist he plays also has no special hobbies about cars, but as a person who has just entered society, like most American youth, he urgently needs a job and a car to travel.

A cheap used car is undoubtedly the best choice.

"Scene 32, Act 17." Michael Bay shouted in person, "Start now!"

Five cameras were installed in the parking lot at the same time to record the opponent's and heroines from various angles up, down, left and right.

"Mikara!"

The owner of the second-hand car dealer saw Ryan walking into the parking lot and shouted to his daughter, "A customer is here."

Then, a pair of straight and seductive long legs stepped out of the room. Alessandra Ambroshe, dressed in a tight body shirt and legs shorts, walked towards Ryan.

"Hi, is there anything you can do for you?" she greeted Ryan, "It seems you look familiar."

"I live nearby, I just moved here." Ryan walked to a car and slapped the rusty roof with force. "I need a car."

"That was Citroen produced in 1985."

Although his acting skills are not very good, his long-term modeling career has made Alessandra Ambrosho know how to show off his figure in front of the camera, "You can drive away for only six thousand dollars."

"Six thousand dollars?" Ryan shook his head and immediately moved away from the broken car that seemed to be able to fall apart at any time.

He walked forward along the old cars lined up, and the smart woman beside him offered the price that could not be accepted at all.

Ryan didn't stop until he approached an old Camaro sports car. The car looked unusually old, but with a racing coating, it was more attractive than other cars.

"How much does this car cost?"

As he said that, he opened the car door and sat in. The cameraman who was originally lying in the back seat immediately raised his body and gave Ryan a close-up of the sign on the steering wheel that wiped away the dust.

"Five thousand dollars!"

After quoting the price, the sexy beauty outside seemed a little confused and muttered in a low voice, "Why don't I remember having this car?"

"Hey. That..."

"Sam." Ryan got out of the car.

"Sam, what do you think?"

The female salesperson seemed to be very experienced. She walked around and showed off her long legs. "Sometimes it's not the driver who chooses the car, but the driver who chooses the car. This is the fate between humans and the car."

She walked to the front cover of the car and made an extremely sexy position, "Look, when you walk here, you will be attracted to this car. This unique Camaro car is absolutely impossible to buy when you go to other markets!"

"Look, the stripes of the car on this car, I can guarantee that it has participated in all-American events!"

"How much?" Ryan asked.

"Five thousand dollars!"

"Maximum three thousand dollars!"

"Please stay away from my car!" The woman walked over and closed the car door.

"Hey, Miss..."

"Mikara." This woman seemed very unique.

"Miss Mikayla."

For a person like the male protagonist who has just entered society, it seems difficult for the other party to deal with it. "You just said that it is the car to choose the driver."

"Will you like a stingy driver without a car!"

“cut!”

Michael Bay's voice sounded behind the camera, "Miss Ambroshew, can you express more?"

This situation often occurs these days. Although Michael Bey's requirements are not high, the other party is not a real actor after all. Compared to his charm when showing off his posture, the facial changes during the performance are naturally much worse.

For this reason, Michael Bay even deleted many lines from the heroine, making the character who was originally a vase completely transformed into a super vase that was more optional than in the movies in previous life.

Of course, when the heroine appears in the camera, the camera spends most of the time capturing Alessandra Ambrosho's sexy figure and beautiful legs. In the commercial production, the pure vase heroine is the most popular thing for the audience.

Perhaps Alessandra Ambrosho doesn't look too beautiful in reality, but it's really very photogenic. Ryan and Michael Bed are both satisfied with most of the shots, and they completely serve as embellishment of the film.

This is enough. Can you ask for more for an angel of Victoria's Secret?

It took a full morning to finish the shooting of the car. At the end of the shooting, the crew detonated the window glass of all used cars, and the fragments flying all over the sky, which looked particularly spectacular. Even if there was no explosion of fire and smoke, they were played well in the hands of Michael Bay and his team.

Because the outdoor scene has been filming for a while, and the Disney promotion has slowly unfolded, since the New Year, more and more media and reporters have appeared around the crew. Like all paparazzi, they will seize every opportunity to find out the progress and insider information of the film in order to get exclusives.

When the game was transferred at noon, several persistent reporters stopped Ryan. They sent them to the microphone and recorder. They included both the words ABC TV and the mark of Disney Family Online. Faced with their own media, Ryan still said a few words so that Disney's publicity plan could be better developed.

"Mr. Jenkins, can you tell me about the purpose of making Transformers into a live-action movie?" Similarly, Disney-owned media reporters also know what to ask. "There is a lot of news that you like this series very much?"

"Yes, I really like this series." Ryan nodded without hesitation. "I really liked the cartoons of this series when I was a kid."

"As for why we need to make a live-action movie version."

He continued. "I feel that in the history of filmmaking so many years, I have never shown a truck turning into a 20-foot-tall robot on the screen. I also want to make a work that pays tribute to the classic cartoons of the past and find out the imagination that Hollywood has lost for many years. There are many moments in the movie that have moved us. Even people over thirty years old, I still feel like an eye-opener when I see the movie."

“But there are a lot of people criticizing…”

Later, the reporter from a newspaper and magazine found several Optimus Prime concept design pictures released by the crew, "This kind of robot has no sense of reality. Their slender bodies cannot bear their weight at all."

"Who said they are robots?" Ryan spread his hands and said, "They are mechanical living beings! They are advanced lives like humans, with thoughts, emotions, hobbies, and disgust. They should have beautiful streamlined bodies like humans."

Ryan stressed. "Remember, they are not those boxy, bulky robots made of steel by humans. If they really want to be designed as clumsy robots, they will look both fake and boring, because it is not like the intelligent life of an alien system, but rather like the inferior robot products produced by the Japanese."

In the past few months, Industrial Light and Magic have been designing and producing computer animations for Transformers. They carefully compared every detail on the car model. At first, the deformation process they designed followed the laws of physics, but the result was that it looked neither exciting nor smooth enough.

For such a movie with special effects as its main selling point, this is simply a fatal injury.

Later, Industrial Light Magic proposed a solution to use liquid metal for the surface of the King Kong character, but Ryan refused. He only replied to Industrial Light Magic's words - this is Transformers, not t1000!

In the end, Industrial Light Magic chose the "Rude's Cube" style that completely abandoned the laws of physics, so that whether it is static or dynamic, the Transformers will look more interesting, real, dynamic and fast, rather than clumsy beasts like wild beasts.

An important decision in the production process of Industrial Light Magic stunts is to allow the wheels to touch the ground as long as possible, so that the robot can maintain movement while deforming, thereby maintaining a basic sense of reality.

Ryan's opinion was unanimously recognized by Michael Bay. Both of them knew what the selling point of the movie was. The square, thick and heavy Transformers were a disaster for such a commercial science fiction film.

He also specially asked Tiger Chen to collect videos of two free fighting performances and multiple action films that combine judo and Muay Thai fighting methods, and provide them to the special effects animators of Industrial Light and Magic to observe, in order to make the fighting scenes in the movie look more beautiful.

In addition, before Michael Bay became a film director, he had directed many car advertisements. He knew how to make the mechanical lives closely related to cars in the picture look more real. The ray tracing method he proposed was also unanimously recognized by Industrial Light and Magic.

The literary scenes similar to the male and female protagonists are not the type that Michael Bay is good at, and he will not invest too much energy in it. After ending the scenes of Sam and Mikaela's acquaintance, the crew moved to the US military base again and began to shoot hot and explosive scenes.

However, Ryan wants to leave the crew first, and he has long promised that he will visit the other side of the Pacific this month as the chairman of Disney's board of directors. (To be continued...)
