Chapter five hundred and fifty first clownfish

Since the North American publicity of "The Clone Attack", Natalie has been busy with the post-production of short films in Jenkins Films' editing room. Although it is only a fifteen-minute short film, post-production often takes more energy than shooting.

In particular, Natalie and Scarlett shot shots with a total length of more than 300 minutes intermittently for more than two months. It is necessary to select the right picture from it and edit it together, and it will definitely take some effort.

When Ryan knocked on the door and entered the editing room, Natalie was sitting next to the film set to rest, and two editors were busy.

"How much has been done." Ryan picked up the coffee pot on the table, walked to Natalie, poured out the cold coffee from her cup, and replaced it with the hot one again, "Is it going well today?"

"Thanks."

With his drooping curly hair on the back of his head, Natalie picked up the coffee cup and took a sip, "The total progress has exceeded two-thirds, and it is estimated that there will be no problem completing it before school starts."

She rubbed her forehead and saw the two editors finishing their work and waved her hands at them, "Molly, and Danny, let's be here today, thank you."

"You're welcome, Miss Portman." The two editors left.

Putting down the coffee pot, Ryan turned behind Natalie, took off her hands, putting the thumbs and index fingers of both hands on her forehead, gently twisting them, Natalie slowly closed her eyes, as if she was enjoying the moment.

"Why are you so good today?" she murmured softly.

"Did I treat you badly?". Bent over and kissed the white ears, Ryan smiled, "Time flies so fast. You will graduate from Harvard next year. Are you ready to settle in Los Angeles, Nat?"

"There's one more year left." Natalie grabbed one of Ryan's palms, put her face in his palm, and slowly rubbed it on it. "I'm only thinking about one thing now, how can I complete my first short film."

"This job is much harder than I thought." She sighed softly.

“Everything will be fine.”

His palm passed through the iconic mole, and Ryan turned his head and looked at the neatly arranged films and asked, "Nate, have you figured out the title of the short film?"

"Yeah." The girl nodded and grabbed Ryan's hand that slipped downwards. "The protagonist is the waiter of the coffee shop played by Scar. All scenes will be limited to the coffee shop, which is called "Coffee"."

"Coffee?" Ryan knew that the short film was roughly made with Scarlett's eyes. Through the coffee shop customers, some of Natalie's perceptions of life were reflected, "melt and bitter..."

"Life is like coffee." Natalie suddenly stood up and threw Ryan's hand back. While packing her bag, she said, "It smells mellow, tastes bitterness, holds it in her hand but is reluctant to give up. Every extra portion of sugar and a spoonful of milk will bring different tastes and changes. It's hard to find the most suitable taste for you, and every taste can be tolerated."

"Is this the theme of the short film?" Ryan pinched his chin. "It sounds pretty good."

Natalie shrugged and opened the editing room door, "Let's go next door."

"Next door?" Ryan walked out first and looked at the door next door unconsciously. Natalie closed the door and pulled him downstairs, "Taylor went to Pixar. He should have accompanied Christine to see the clownfish."

Jenkins Film’s neighbor is Pixar Studios after moving. Three square buildings are connected together through an aerial corridor. The iconic desk lamp at the door is the best representative of Pixar Studio’s corporate culture. This is a world of animation and free creativity.

Even though it became a subsidiary of Walt Disney, Pixar Studios did not actually change much. The company's email address was still the original email address. The following and free creations filled every corner of the office building. Even the signs at the door of the company could not see any Disney mark.

Entering the open, playground-like employee leisure square, Ryan felt as if he had arrived at the aquarium where dozens of huge water tanks were built, including fish belonging to the Pacific Ocean, and even a few small sharks and huge sea turtles could be seen.

Of course, the most common one is the clown fish.

Although the production of "Looking for Nemo" has entered the late stage, there are still a large number of Pixar employees, either walking around here or standing in front of a transparent water tank, concentrating on the every move of these underwater creatures.

The two little girls also stood in front of a huge aquarium and commented on the starfish and clownfish inside.

Among them, the one with a little shorter and brown hair was Christine Stewart. As she got older, her tomboy appearance gradually deteriorated.

As for the other one, the body supported by two long legs is five feet and four inches high, and the long honey-gold hair is curled like Japanese instant noodles. The tall nose, deep eye sockets and the disappearing baby fat all show their own unique style. The pair of agile royal blue eyes, occasionally glances at the side, will always flash a cunning light.

Especially those golden eyebrows, like her personality, raised high from the inside to the outside.

Taylor grew up and was almost as big as Natalie.

Pulling Natalie, Ryan walked behind the little girl. From the vague reflection of the aquarium, she could see Taylor's curved eyes and raised corners of her mouth. Obviously, she also saw who the person behind her was.

"Dear, are they beautiful?" Ryan stood beside Taylor.

"It's okay." The little girl said with her hands on her chest and tilted her head, "I'm not just here to see them."

"Then what are you here to do?" Ryan was surprised.

Taylor did not answer, took a step back, stood in front of Natalie, and after comparing her height with the Long Island girl, her eyes almost laughed. When Natalie smiled and pinched her face, she took the time to say, "I'll come here to accompany Christine, don't you know?"

"What do you know?" Ryan couldn't help looking at Christine Stewart.

"Mr. Stanton chose me to dubb Nemo." She gave the answer directly, and pointed to a clown fish in the aquarium. "So, I came here to observe their habits."

"Originally, I participated in the audition." Taylor grabbed Natalie's arm and leaned forward again, "But Andrew didn't choose me."

"Why?" Natalie sorted out her slightly scattered curly hair.

"Say my voice is too feminine and not suitable." Taylor suddenly waved his small fist, "Luckily it was Christine who won, otherwise I would definitely give Andrew Stanton a good look."

"Kristen is a little busy now."

Taylor was obviously more sensible than before. She looked at the quiet environment around her, holding Ryan with one hand and Natalie with the other, and then shook her head at Christine and walked towards the building's dining area. "It's not suitable for talking here, let's change the place."

Walking out of the leisure square and entering the corridor where people came and went, the little girl greeted some people in a familiar way, obviously very familiar with Pixar people.

"Kristen will have to dubb Nemo in the next few months and also film "Very Little Spy." Taylor continued to talk about the topic just now, "Time must be very tight."

"I'll make someone adjust her schedule." Ryan rubbed Christine's curly hair, "Dear, you're going to become a little superhero."

"Then I'll save the world."

Several people entered the diet area with a smile at the same time. Taylor pulled Ryan and sat at the table in front of the glass window, ran to the counter with Christine, and brought the four-client banana boat.

"The ice cream here tastes very unique." She sat opposite Ryan.

"I still remember a few years ago." Ryan helped Natalie take apart the disposable spoon, "You're still clamoring to bring all Pixar's ice cream home."

"I was still young at that time, but I'm growing up now." The little girl waved her hand in front of her face, as if she wanted to forget all the past. "I'm as tall as Nat now, I've grown up."

"Grow up?" The little girl was stunned for a moment, pushed the banana boat in front of her to Ryan, and quickly took out the notebook and pen from her bag.

Ryan and others were stunned, not knowing what she was going to do.

Taylor drew a while on the notebook and then solemnly put it into his shoulder bag.

"What happened, my dear?" Ryan pushed the banana boat back to her.

"I suddenly thought of a melody just now." Taylor picked up the spoon, dug a small mouthful of ice cream, and put it into his mouth, like a little lady, "Didn't you say that, Ryan, when the inspiration comes, you have to write it down so that you won't forget it."

Several people were eating and chatting, and Taylor and Christine's words often brought them a joyful atmosphere, and laughter kept ringing.

"After completing music class recently, I will come here to find Christine." Taylor talked about the animation results of Pixar that he saw recently. "We not only watched "Looking for Nemo" which was soon completed, but also "Superman Family", although there is no dubbing and soundtrack."

"Which movie do you think is better?" Natalie asked.

"Of course it's "Looking for Nemo." Kristen said first, and Taylor also lit his head. "There are too few clips completed in "Superman Family", and "Looking for Nemo" is Ryan's story again."

Then, she looked at Ryan with a smile, "This story is really strange. My father with psychological shadows, his rebellious son, and his amnesia-like girlfriend. In order to find his son, his father and his girlfriend embarked on an adventure, which not only proved the greatness of family affection, but also led to the beginning of a love."

"Is this your point of view?" Ryan put down the spoon.

"Of course not." The little girl curled her lips, "This is what Mr. Andrew Stanton told me." (To be continued...)
