0418 Loyal Heresy

The Muscat Bay guards two majestic castles, which were built during the years when Portugal ruled Muscat. The West Rock Castle is called Jalari Castle and the East Rock Castle is called Milani Castle.

The name of the castle was taken by the Portuguese. Jalaris originated from the great hero of the Omani nation in the Muscat region, while Milani was the deeply loved national leader among the Portuguese. The Portuguese asked them to protect Muscat together in order to reduce the Omani resistance and hostility towards the Portuguese.

Their work was fruitful, and the Portuguese ruled Muscat smoothly for hundreds of years. Although they changed hands twice in Ottoman Türkiye, they were eventually taken back with the help of the locals.

Until 1624, Nashir Ben Murshid Aleyaribi was elected as an Omani Imam and began to stir up the relationship between the natives and the Portuguese. He finally achieved success. In 1650, the Portuguese surrendered and ended their history of rule over Muscat.

But this uninterrupted hostility also planted the root of disaster between the native Muscat people and the Omani inland. Imams could not maintain their rule over Muscat with faith, and the Omani had a vacuum of power in the secular world.

Ancient nobles, close kings, grass-headed warriors, religious leaders, and various leaders started a war on the land of the Omani people, including our current ancestor of the Sultan, the Said family of the ancient nobles from Sarara.

This chaotic world lasted for nearly a hundred years until the god-given Said emerged, sweeping all ruling forces in just a few years, establishing the Said dynasty, and establishing the capital in 1784 in the prosperous and unbreakable Muscat...

"Wait, the Sultanate was officially established in Muscat in 1784, that is, last year?"

Aziz was talking lively, but Lorraine suddenly interrupted, with a ridiculous expression on her face.

Aziz shrugged innocently: "Yes, as your fleet blocked Muscat Bay, the Said Dynasty ruled in this prosperous seaside town for 8 months and 7 days."

"But...but the palace and castle...coast turrets, and those noble mansions..."

"The castle has been built for nearly two hundred years, and the coastal fortress was also the work of the Portuguese. The palace was once the residence of the governor of Portugal. In that area, countless powerful people gathered in the long years. Basically all the buildings are antiques and have a longer history of the Saiyi Dynasty."

Lorraine opened her mouth silently: "Sorry, you continue."

Aziz cleared his throat and continued to talk about the past.

He asked Lorraine: "My honorable president, from 1650 to 1784, why did no secular force complete the rule of Oman in the long century, and only the Sudan succeeded?"

Lorraine frowned and thought for a long time: "Can it be...imam?"

Aziz applauded excitedly.

"Yes, Imam. Religion has great power. Everyone in this land believes in Allah and worships the ministers. But only the Said family reached a consensus with the ministers, and only their secular authority can be recognized by the Imam from beginning to end."

"The bond between politics and religion is at your feet. The Hassad family, their loyalty belongs to the Imam, and they dedicated their strength to Said. Said never believed them, but in the century-long struggle history of the Sultan family, they have always been Said's most courageous partners and subordinates in the crisis."

"It was such a complex relationship between them that the Kassadi family was able to station in Milani Castle because of such a complex relationship."

"Then guess what, who is stationed in Jalari Castle?"

Lorraine covered her chin and remained silent for a long time, and said tentatively: "I guess it is the representative of the Muscat natives."

"Jalali family." Aziz recognized Lorraine's answer, "They are direct descendants of the great heroes of the Omanites, the real masters of Muscat. They are not simply affiliated or surrendered with the Said family. Everyone knows that every person named Said must choose a wife named Jaalali. This is the oath between the family and the family."

Lorraine thought.

He seemed to have captured something just now, but after thinking about it, he couldn't find the source of inspiration, so he could only continue to ask Aziz.

"Aziz, you said this story would make you betray your country completely, and said that I could get vital inspiration from this story, but I only heard the confusing relationship between three families and your country's imams."

"I believe you are telling the truth, because Colonel Hassadi asked me to protect his family to Riaman before he decided to become my lobbyist, where they could obviously be protected. But I don't know how this would help me, nor what they mean."

"Because you are still missing a puzzle, my master." Aziz smiled, "that puzzle is Colonel Hassadi you mentioned just now."

"Colin is a puzzle?"

"Yes, Bashar Kasad, the only true loyalist of the unfaithful family in more than a hundred years. He became the entourage of the second prince since he was a teenager and established a sincere relationship with the prince. He swore allegiance to the second prince two years ago. This action not only broke the tradition adhered to by the Kasad family, but also made the second prince, who was not well-known in his mother's family, and replaced the eldest prince with the noble blood of Jalari, and became the heir of the sultan with the highest support from the cabinet."

In an instant, a cold light suddenly appeared in Lorraine's eyes: "Col.... Is there such a deep bond between him and the second prince?"

"If not," Aziz paused, "Is there anyone more noble than him among your friends who surrendered to you?"

Lorraine suddenly laughed: "Aziz, are you willing to join my chamber of commerce?"

Aziz was stunned for a moment: "Would you hire an Omani?"

"My chamber of commerce is very complicated. There are whites, yellows, blacks, Europeans, Americans, Africans, people who believe in God, people who believe in ancestors, people who believe in Allah or even the Supreme Lord. You may be the first Omani, but I promise, it will never be the last one."

"I need to think." Aziz bit his lip and thought for a long time, "I wonder where you plan to place me?"

"You have met your president, Eddie Garman, who is a Viking, Norwegian who believes in his ancestors."

"It turned out to be Mr. Gaman... He has not been in charge of Zuwo for a long time, but the slaves have begun to call him the Tyrant Masila."

Lorraine spread her hands and asked Aziz to continue the story he was good at.

"That's not an interesting topic." Aziz thought about the sentence. "After you wiped out the Bagara Guard, thousands of people, including me, were sent to Zuwo as slaves. Some officers tried to provoke a riot with the prestige of Marshal Manzeri, but he discovered it early."

"He erected a cross on the coast, and each officer who planned the riot whips three times. Every time he whipped, the marshal was beaten to death. Then he realized his enlightenment and turned into the most determined defender of the Zuwo Order."

Lorraine asked strangely: "Marson Manzeri surrendered?"

"No, he did not rebel like me." Aziz laughed silently, "He just wanted to be his slave safely. If anyone wants to be exhausted, he would have to take action first and let the other party die quickly."

Now even Lorraine was amused: "Aziz, I'm still waiting for your answer."

"Does your homeland be exploited under the tyrant?" Aziz touched his chin and looked weird. "This matter sounds quite interesting."
