0358 King and King

The bow of the San Carlos, the upper deck of the forecastle...

In the military theory taught by military academy, parachute combat is regarded as three independent and interrelated hand-to-hand combat battlefields on the ship's table alone.

These three battlefields are the main decks that occupy at least half of the ship's surface, often full of the stern upper deck of the command center and the forecastle upper deck close to the main deck.

The main reason for this distinction is the height difference.

According to the construction standards of sea ships in this era, the forecastle often exceeds one to two floors of the main deck, while the stern building is two to three floors high. Even if the elevation of each floor is 2 meters, the height difference between the main deck and the upper deck is far beyond the reach of a sword.

However, the three battlefields have their own importance.

Generally speaking, the main deck is the core battlefield, and the largest amount of human resources are invested on both sides.

The stern building is the command center. Although its tortuous and narrow passage path is actually not suitable for offense and defense, it is a winner and loser, and it is worth investing the most elite special offensive force for both sides.

In contrast, the importance of the forecastle upper deck is limited.

It is often only one-sixth of the size of the entire ship's surface, and the structure is relatively slender. The main facilities generally include bowsprits, cable piles and anchor winches. The hatch doors connecting to the inside of the forecastle are not installed here, but on bulkheads connecting to the main deck.

It can be seen from this that once the battle hits the sidelines, the gains and losses of the deck on the forecastle are actually irrelevant. In conventional tactics, the defense will generally use the terrain here to place a team of long-range firepower, and the attacking party will restrain the number of defenders according to the number of defenders, that's all.

I don’t know what kind of demonic wind was blowing today, but Lorraine actually chose her battlefield here. Blackbeard also accepted the challenge with four elite pirates to stand opposite Lorraine.

The situation between the king and the king was formed without any obstacles, but the two sides did not intend to start a war in a hurry. They each leaned against the railing and looked at the battle situation under their feet, and could chat a few times from time to time.

On the main deck, Chamuyam took the initiative for a while.

He seemed to have caught some of Leif's judgment principles, cleverly sold a flaw to lure Leif to jump up and attack, then easily dodged, and threw his spear while flying back.

The spear broke through the air, rubbed across Leif's thigh, and drew a huge bloody mouth on the outside of his leg.

Leif could not feel the pain in his body, but the injured muscles could no longer act as quickly as they were intact. Chamuyam held an axe in both hands and slashed with axe and axe like a blacksmith. For a moment, he actually pressed the war machine behind the shield.

Lorraine stumbled and said: "Your Highness, you Indian warrior..."

"Chamyam, he is an Obsidian Blade Warrior of the Aztec tribe, his status is similar to ours, and he is a warrior who has chosen thousands of people to guard the Temple of the Feather Snake."

"Can you actually get into a Templar killing and robbing for you?"

"A natives." Blackbeard laughed twice, "Their faith is different from God. Even the Templars do not have to follow the eight rules of the knights. What's more, the Spaniards have demolished the temples of the Tenochtit tribe. Although they insist on selecting obsidian bladed warriors like their ancestors, the warriors have long lost the gods they were guarding."

"So that's it." Lorraine suddenly realized.

Blackbeard looked at Lorraine with interest: "It's you, young man, you are not an ordinary navy, are you? I really can't imagine how a young Spanish officer can get allegiance from the Viking Bears."

"Probably because of God's favor?"

"You don't want to say it?" Blackbeard raised his eyebrows, "It doesn't matter, no matter what your identity is, my goal is not you. As long as... you are willing to hand over Mara."

I don’t know if it’s an illusion, but Lorraine thinks that today’s Blackbeard seems to be much easier to talk to than a few days ago.

The problem is that he obviously risked his life to launch a battle on the sidelines and took such a huge risk. If it were just for negotiation, the Blackbeard would have regarded his life too contempt.

Lorraine was puzzled.

"Your Highness, are you still here for..."

"I just killed Gonzalo de Oviedo, plundered his study and bedroom, and threatened his mistress to open the secret room and find nothing. The explosion left Antonio de Torresias dead in the underground fortress. After the explosion, I said that the commander's residence was empty and turned over there, and found two dark rooms, but still failed to do so."

"This means that if Torresias didn't carry my stuff with him, it must be on Mara."

"But there is no in his villa, neither the bedroom I explored last time or the study I failed to find out last time. Where will that thing be?"

Lorraine chuckled: "You mean, what you want is in Major Mara's luggage, even... it's on him?"

"I didn't allud anything, I just asked you to hand over Marla. I will judge whether it is on him or not."

"It seems that this is the ultimatum."

"It's indeed an ultimatum. Hand over the horse la carte, otherwise I will kill all the ship and take the horse la carte away by myself."

Lorraine fell silent for a moment, and finally couldn't help but smile.

"You won't kill all the people on the ship." Lorraine pointed to the battle situation on the main deck, "Look, the Berserker is not stupid, he just reacts slowly, he has already started to fight back."

Leif started to fight back.

In fact, rather than saying that he found a way to crack Chamuyam, he adapted to his injured leg and pushed Chamuyam away with brute force.

Lorraine personally experienced the difficulty of the Berserker.

Not afraid of pain, not afraid of death, not fear, not thinking, he went straight forward with great power, seemed stupid and expected, but in fact he did not leave any room for his opponent to play tricks.

No matter what you come from, I will only go all the way.

Lef shook his axe with his shield, kicked his left leg, which was not injured, and rushed to Chamuyam with a crooked sword.

Chamuyam could only withdraw his axe to resist, but the attack of the Berserker was so easy to block?

The sharp edge is coming!

With a tingling sound of iron, an unparalleled power suddenly emerged from the seemingly slender Viking sword, and it actually pressed the axe blade to slash Chamuyam away from the ground.

The ground is the center of gravity and foundation of the warrior.

With his feet off the ground, Chamuyam suddenly lost the fulcrum of his force, and his whole body flew away with the blow, and a loud bang hit the mainmast.

He opened his mouth and spitted blood, and got up while vomiting blood. The shaking and embarrassed figure only took two steps. Leif jumped over again and slashed heavily at the place where he was originally lying down.

Chamuyam turned around and swung his axe.

This time, he used all his strength to counterattack, but he was still easily blocked by Leif with his shield.

"You can't break my shield...I can't break my shield!"

Lef howled and launched a sprint with his shield. Chamuyam was in a brief stiffness after giving all his strength. He could only watch the cold light on Lef's hand flashing and stabbing directly towards his heart.

Bang!

Lef's sword almost pierced Chamuyam's chest, but at the moment of touching it, two pirates rushed over from the sailors' battle group, barely knocking Lef away with his whole body, allowing the sword blade of the Uncrowned King to wipe Chamuyam's shoulder and stabbing it empty.

Blood splatters!

The sword stabbed in the sky still left a deep bone-deep wound on Chamuyam's shoulder, and blood seemed to spew out. Chamuyam covered the wound and screamed.

At the moment of the matter, a sudden sound came from Lorraine's ears.

"Have you seen enough of the play? Young man." Blackbeard leaned the black blade on the ground in annoyance, with only bloodthirsty hideousness on his face, "Since you want to die loyally for Mara, I can help you..."
