0030 Henna and the black cat

A mistake...

Accidentally made a huge mistake, Lorraine looked slight and followed Henna back to the boat like a young wife, without seeing the captain's style.

Little Pierce was confused and hurriedly threw down the deck washing work and ran through the gossip: "Captain, you are..."

"Have you done the five hundred fencing times today?"

“Hey… done!”

"Have you finished knotting in one hundred times?"

"The fight is over!"

“Where are you swimming for two kilometers?”

"The tour is over!"

"A chart?"

"The homework is on your desk and it was completed last night!"

Lorraine tilted her head and glanced at the mop lying on the deck: "That is, before it gets dark, you're all left to scrub the deck and make supper?"

"Yes, sir!" Little Pierce was full of ambition.

Lorraine patted him on the shoulder with encouragement: "Very good, tomorrow's training volume will increase by 20%. Remember to notify Cron to supervise."

"Yes...hey!"

The boat has a small one, like a pack.

Lorraine was relieved by Little Pierce and finally decided to face the bleak life.

He found Henna at night and solemnly agreed with Henna's suggestion.

They agreed that if nothing has progressed in three days, they would start the kidnapping plan for Viscount Alfonso's successor.

There are only sixteen words in the script: Henna tied up people, Lorraine rescued them, three swords and six holes in exchange for friendship.

Early the next morning, Lorraine and Henna, who were excited, entered the port area again, busying their futile and kind-hearted sales work.

Then, dusk...

It was still that square, and it was still a pair of tired and lost shadows.

Jeep...The Roma danced enthusiastic flamenco dances, guitars, speakers, songs, and "Haleo" rushing towards the sky in front of the caravan. It seemed that there was really magic and could inject life into the soul.

Lorraine and Henna were attracted to them and watched quietly in front of the caravan for a long time.

It was not until the sun set that Lorraine threw a gold pound toward the spreading guitar box, and her smile returned to the faces of both of them.

Lorraine bent her elbow at Henna: "Beautiful lady, can you invite you to dinner on my boat?"

Henna bulged her cheeks and held Lorraine's arm and whispered: "Eat beef tonight and stew Spanish beef!"

...

The lights are on.

Lorraine walked in the market alley towards the dock with Henna in her arms. On the way, she caught a little black cat with white ears, as if she had been following him for a long time.

Probably... I started following in the square.

He waved to the thin kitten in confusion.

The little guy really approached and urged Lorraine's palm with his furry head intimately.

Lorraine was amused by its silly appearance.

"Really, aren't you afraid that I'll kidnap you?"

"Meow."

"What do you want?"

"Meow."

"Hungry?"

Lorraine quickly sniffed her body.

He is not a fisherman, but because he lives on boats all year round, he feeds on sea fish most of his time.

If he insisted on saying that there was no fishy smell on his body, he would not believe such nonsense.

But such a faint smell that is almost insulting can actually bring a cute kitten...

It just means the lucky black cat!

Is it going to work in time?

The superstitious little Mr. Drake absent-mindedly scratched the soft white ears of the little black cat, suddenly stood up, bought a large piece of salmon from the fishing shop next door, and tore it off little by little, scaring that the cute little guy choked.

The little guy ate very fast and quickly ate a huge piece of fish.

"Meow."

It licked Lorraine's empty palm and rubbed it, becoming more and more intimate with Lorraine.

Lorraine poked its head with laughter and cry: "Are you still full?"

"Meow."

"But I just saw that there are only a few pieces of smoked fish left in the catch store. You can't eat smoked fish, the little guy will get sick after eating big salt grains."

“Meow.”

"First... sir, can you let go of your white ears?"

A timid voice suddenly appeared at the corner of the alley. Lorraine saw a dirty girl holding her sleeves and was at a loss.

She looks about thirteen or fourteen years old, with a petite figure, black hair and black eyes.

Her face, which was almost like a goose egg, had a pair of big, long bright eyes, and under her high nose bridge, there was a slightly wider mouth.

This is the standard Roma look, some Indian and very white.

However, most of the Roma people have enthusiastic and cheerful personalities. Suddenly, such a trembling little girl appeared, with a cramped look and a pale face, which made Lorraine not sure of her judgment for a moment.

However, this seems irrelevant.

Lorraine rubbed the kitten's head and asked the girl: "Is it your cat?"

"Is it...please, can you let it go?"

"It's not what I caught, it's just hungry." Lorraine stood up with a smile.

Seeing that the kitten would never get something to eat again, he meowed pitifully, turned his head, and rushed back to the girl's arms like an arrow.

A smile spread on the girl's face and she said, "Thank you sir!"

She bowed to Lorraine, and after she gave the ceremony, she retreated and disappeared into the shadows. After a while, she disappeared at the end of the alley and disappeared everywhere.

Lorraine frowned slightly as she looked at the direction of the girl's disappearance: "Hena, do you think... they are both a little weird?"

"Ah?" Henna was startled, "What's the weird thing?"

"You can actually get distracted..." Lorraine laughed, "Do you like that cat that much?"

Henna bit her lip lightly.

"Actually it's not all about cats. I just... remembered something."

"past?"

"Brother's business."

Henna's voice was a little heavy, floating gently in the night wind. If she didn't listen carefully, she wouldn't be able to hear clearly.

But her expression was smiling.

"You know, after my father died, my brother and I fled to Cherbourg, and he was injured."

"In order to heal his injuries, I worked in the Old Hansai's tavern for a long time. During the day, I helped the Old Hansai clean up the tavern, kill people at noon, and be a waiter at night. Except for changing the medicine for my younger brother, I had almost no time to accompany him. It was during that time that he picked up a black cat, which was completely black, and very similar to white ears."

"He liked it very much, and named it Romley, held it every day, and tear off the meat I bought bit by bit like you did just now, feeding it, as if he was afraid that it would choke."

Henna smiled softer and said, walking towards the dock with Lorraine.

"I got sick later. I worked crazy for several months. When I was about to kill someone, I often couldn't sleep for a few days. I accidentally got a fever and almost died earlier than my younger brother."

"What saved me was a bowl of broth..."

"That day, he was covered in cat blood, smiling, but tears dripped into the soup. I couldn't forget that scene, so until he died, I still remember the taste of the bowl of broth. It was so sour that it was so sour that people couldn't swallow it."

Speaking of this, Lorraine knew that Henna's story was finished.

Her voice was always calm, so calm that it made people feel pity.

Lorraine turned around and hugged her. Henna didn't struggle, but leaned in Lorraine's arms, listening to the sea breeze and looking at the moon.

Lorraine asked, "Do you want to cry?"

"I don't want to." Henna answered neatly, "Do you know? You two are actually very similar, stubborn, smart, and brave, even at the same age."

"But I'm not him."

"I know. I just can't help but think occasionally, if you were him... how great it would be."
