0292 Annual Meeting
At 10 a.m. on December 27, 1779, with their own thoughts, senior executives from all walks of life gathered in Luci to hold the 1779 Drake Chamber of Commerce Settlement and Budget Conference in the banquet hall of Luci Manor.
The members included:
Representative of the General Chamber of Commerce, President Lorraine, Vice President Pierce, General Accountant Carmen, who didn’t know what to account and General Scheduler Crane, who didn’t know what to schedule;
Northwest Europe, President Ramos, Vice President Eddie, Old Marshal Merlin, the strong offshore admiral and Merlin trained by Merlin, performed exceptionally well after Lorraine went to the United States and was entrusted with important tasks by Ramos;
Caribbean representative, President Chuck, Vice President Leonard, Ocean Admiral Coterence and Offshore Admiral Orves.
In addition to the twelve chamber of commerce executives, the equity beneficiaries of the General Chamber of Commerce were also qualified to attend the meeting and attend the meeting, namely the remaining six seafarers in Lorraine.
They sat behind Lorraine, wearing newly customized ethnic formal attire, and their various appearances improved the style of the meeting for no reason.
This is a conference that Lorraine had long wanted to convene. It can be traced back to the first time after the Halloween operation. Lorraine first heard that Chuck borrowed 20,000 pounds from Ramos to start.
At that time, he had already begun to feel a sense of incongruity in his heart. When he realized it later, he finally discovered that the source of this sense of incongruity was that Chuck was too independent and Ramos was too unwilling to treat himself as an outsider.
The structure of the Drake Chamber of Commerce was built by Lorraine based on later multinational trading companies. It is loose and flexible overall, and is by no means just one development model.
But this does not mean that there can be different positioning between branches.
Looseness is not a scattered heart. Once each department forms a vicious cycle of uneven treatment, the result is that the advantageous department continues to suck blood, while the other departments gradually shrink.
Lorraine wanted to break this cycle before it forms a fixed pattern and determine a unified and applicable positioning style, acting in Northwest Europe, the Caribbean, and even the Boston shipyards that cannot be made public for the time being.
This is his purpose.
Time flies fast.
Last year, the Drake Chamber of Commerce passed the declaration in Plymouth in April and officially listed it in Elgin in May. Later, in order to fight against the Cantabulian blockade, its headquarters was transferred to Southampton, and to adapt to Lorraine's trip to the United States, it quickly adjusted to the current Lucie...
The history that sounds quite turbulent actually only lasted just 20 months.
The history of various branches is shorter than that of the general meeting.
The Northwest European and Western Branch truly formed its existing management structure in October last year, only 14 months ago;
The Caribbean Score was established in March this year and is only in its 9th month;
Needless to say, the Boston shipyard was bought by Lorraine in November, and it is only the second month now, and Cron has not even lost his freshness.
To put it bluntly, the four big words "Stop the issue" by chance, privateership played an important role in it. Lorraine almost robbed the entire chamber of commerce's operating fleet with her own strength.
And now is the key battle to pave the way for Drake.
Seeing that all the people were in their seats, Carmen coughed softly.
"The first issue is settled, please give a speech by President Ramos Pidick, Northwest Europe and Northeast."
There is no front-line or fancy. This young chamber of commerce has its own habits and has not been infected with the bad habits of large chambers of commerce until today.
Ramos reached out and spread the report.
"Chairman, shareholders, share beneficiary and brother branch manager. The Northwest Branch of the Drake Chamber of Commerce was established in April 1778. It is the same age as the General Association. Since there was no public settlement last year, the settlement today is a summary of the first 20 months."
"...As of December 16, the branch has an offshore fleet, including three Brigentina and 12 Skuna type; and one ocean-going fleet, including three Brig type and two Brigentina type."
“…The Chamber of Commerce’s business involves countries around Cantabrian, North Sea and Baltic Sea waters, with storage warehouses at 17 marinas and 57 ports with trade offices…”
"...In summary, in 2020, the North and North Europe achieved a total trade volume of more than 160,000, and various profits totaled 93,642 pounds. Excluding the expenses such as ship purchase, administration, affairs, labor, rent, local distribution, etc., the balance was 51,312 pounds, and the account was 41,312 pounds, and 10,000 pounds were loaned. The summary report is as above."
Ramos paid tribute to Lorraine and sat down. Carmen wrote a few excerpts on the copied report and raised his head.
"Next is President Chuck Parker of the Caribbean Championship."
Chuck took a deep breath and got up.
"Chairman, shareholders, beneficiary of shares and manager of the brothers' branch. The Drake Chamber of Commerce Caribbean Branch was established in March 1779 with a start-up capital of 15,000 pounds, and then an additional 10,000 pounds, totaling 25,000 pounds."
"In addition, the branch borrowed 20,000 pounds from the Northwest European and Western Branch, with no interest and no life. 50% of the funds have been repaid, and the remaining funds are expected to be paid off by September next year."
"...As of December 23, the branch has an ocean fleet, including one Class 4 Galen, one Class 5, and two Brig-type ships; one offshore fleet, including one Brigentine and five Skuna."
“…The Chamber of Commerce has signed trade permits with all colonial governments in the Pan-Caribbean, owns storage warehouses at 24 marinas and 69 ports with trade offices…”
"...In summary, in September, the Caribbean achieved a total trade volume of more than 73,000. Excluding ship purchases, administration, affairs, labor, rent, debt and other expenses, the balance is 5,338 pounds, 4,662 pounds in the account, and 10,000 pounds in the debt balance. The summary report is as above."
Both branches completed the settlement report in a straightforward manner, and the style differences were extremely obvious.
In addition to opening ocean routes, Ramos did not invest much energy in opening the market this year. Even the new situation in the Baltic was produced by Eddie alone in order to reshape his trust. From the process, it has nothing to do with Ramos.
Chuck is another urgent matter.
In just a few months, all trade routes were opened and the number of warehouses and trade stations in forced development exceeded that of Northwest Europe and Northwest China.
The price is that settlement is a deficit.
Chuck has already stated that the money owed to Northwest Europe and Northwest will be returned in September next year, but he is afraid that even he himself will not be able to explain when the 25,000 pounds he withdraws from the General Chamber of Commerce will be repaid.
While Lorraine was thinking, Carmen completed her record and whispered the emcee.
"The first issue has ended, and now it is about to enter the second issue, the budget. Since the Caribbean Score has been approved by the Board of Directors to not make this year's budget, the budget report is only President Ramos Pidick, Northwest Europe and Northwest Europe."
Ramos stood up for the second time and looked at Lorraine.
Lorraine knew that the show was coming, so she couldn't help but hold her breath and wait intently.
"Dear Board representatives, the Northwest European and Western Branch is budgeting to order two high-speed five-class Galen ships, one in January and the other in June next year, with a total price of 52,000 pounds."
"Considering the value of destroyers to ocean-going trade, after the board of directors of Northwest Europe and North America, it was specially applied to not implement this round of dividends, and all the remaining funds will be transferred to administrative expenses for the purchase of ships. I hope the board of directors will approve it!"
Chapter completed!
