Chapter 15: The Wolves Cunning
"Wuwuwu--" The wild wolf that jumped onto a big tree was hit by a bullet, making a painful whimper, falling down, and blood began to emerge from his body.
The other two wild wolves roared when they saw this scene, rushed up and bit the wild wolf to death. One wild wolves tear off a large piece of meat and turned around and ran away. The other wild wolves even held their companions and ran away. Yang Zheng looked at the scene calmly and did not fire again.
There were not many bullets, and the wild wolves were still there, so they had to save some effort. Yang Zheng looked deep into the woods, where there were many wild wolves growling and chewing sounds. He guessed that he was sharing his companions. Yang Zheng observed for a moment and knew that the wild wolves would not launch any further attacks in a short time, so he added some dry fire to the bonfire and made the fire bigger.
After waiting for a while, the meat was cooked a little. Yang Zheng applied some salt on it, roasted it for a while, cut off a large piece and climbed up, handed it to Amei and said, "You're so hungry, come on, eat something, it's a bit hot, take your time."
"I understand, brother." Ah Mei was so hungry that she quickly agreed and took it to eat it.
Yang was looking at A Mei who was eating voraciously, feeling distressed. He checked the vines tied to A Mei. They were quite stable and would not fall. He breathed a sigh of relief. He went down to the bonfire and cut off a piece to eat. While looking at the surrounding woods, the woods became quiet and weird.
After a while, Yang Zheng finished eating the meat in his hand and asked. He learned that Ah Mei was already full and the piece he had just given was quite large. Yang Zheng guessed that Ah Mei was not lying, and continued to observe the surroundings. After waiting for a while, all the meat was roasted, but the wolf pack still did not attack, and there was not even a scream, quietly and strange.
After waiting for a while this time, Yang Zheng stared at the surroundings in surprise. A Mei suddenly said, "Brother, have you left? Why haven't you seen a wild wolf rushing up for so long?"
"It's hard to say, these beasts are very cunning. I'm worried that they are deliberately confusing us. Seeing that we can't do anything in the tree, they simply don't move, hide, and wait for us to go down." Yang Zheng said uncertainly.
"What should we do?" Amei said worriedly.
"I can only wait. It's dusk and it will be dark at most two or three hours. Anyway, I can't get there for too long, so I'd just spend the night here. Let's stay in the trees. The wild wolf shouldn't be able to climb up this high, so don't be afraid." Yang Zheng comforted uncertainly.
"Listen to Brother." Ah Mei agreed. After so much, Ah Mei has become more courageous.
After waiting for a while, the wild wolf still did not show up. Yang Zheng became surprised, but did not dare to go down and take risks. He collected the vines and prepared to spend the night. The meat was already roasted and the bonfire was not needed. However, Yang Zheng was worried that there would be no light at night. Ah Mei was afraid and continued to add small dry firewood to it, and the bottom of the tree branches were burned.
Before he knew it, night fell, and there was still no sign of a wild wolf. The brother and sister did not dare to go down and continued to stay on the tree. After a while, Yang Zheng roasted the remaining meat a little hot. The brother and sister ate it separately, and used the hook made of the vine to re-hook a large piece of meat and hung it on the tree for later use, just in case.
In the middle of the night, a rain fell and wiped out the bonfire, but it solved the urgent problem for the brother and sister who were thirsty who were too thirsty. The forest was pitch black and like ink, which was depressing. Yang Zheng was worried that Ah Mei was afraid, so he kept talking and talking about some interesting things from childhood to relieve Ah Mei's pressure.
The rain in the tropical rainforest came and left as soon as possible. In about an hour, the rain stopped and the moon came out, it was gray, but at least there was some light. Yang Zheng talked with A Mei for a while, checked the fixed vines, and let A Mei fall asleep after confirming that there was no problem.
The forest at night was also dangerous, and Yang Zheng did not dare to be careless. Although he was already sleepy, he gritted his teeth and persevered. Until dawn, Yang Zheng still saw no wild wolf. He packed up his things and prepared to wake up Ah Mei.
After a while, Yang Zheng packed all the things, and there was no sign of the wolf. He went down cautiously by himself. After waiting for a while, no wild wolf attacked, which made Ah Mei come down too. However, as soon as Ah Mei jumped off the big tree, fierce and strange screams came from the woods.
"Damn it, it's still there, so cunning." Yang Zheng was shocked and quickly urged: "A sister, hurry up and get up the tree."
Ah Mei agreed and quickly climbed up. Yang Zheng leaned against the tree without moving, staring around vigilantly. He saw three wild wolves rushing out of the woods and fire quickly. Dada-dak-dunk bullets roaring away, forming a firepower net. The three wild wolves ran away with a roar, and one of them was hit.
Ao - More wild wolves rushed up from the woods frantically, and the cruel chirping changed the color of the world. All the moans, crickets and other small creatures in the whole forest stopped chirping. Even the birds that were still singing just now hid, not daring to speak out, for fear of attracting attack from wild wolves.
Yang Zheng was shocked and realized that he was careless. He underestimated the cunning and patience of the wild wolf. He shouted unwillingly: "Ah--" Anger soared into the sky, and the automatic rifle in his hand was scattered. He faintly heard Amei's anxious shout, and he didn't bother to answer. He tried his best at the moment of life and death.
"Dadadada--" The bullets were densely packed like rain, like water splashing.
Several wild wolves rushing up were knocked to the ground and made a sob of sob. Soon, after the bullet was fired, it made the most unstoppable crackling sound. Yang Zheng was already familiar with this sound, and he held the gun behind him, grabbed the thick vine that was urging it down and climbed up quickly. The speed was very fast.
"Ao--" A wild wolf roared and jumped high. Yang Zheng was shocked. He grabbed his hands with both hands and kicked hard. His body suddenly turned to the other side of the big tree. The wild wolf pounced on the air and rushed over from one side. Yang Zheng had no time to take a look, and used his hands and feet, so he quickly climbed up.
Another wild wolf jumped up fiercely, opened his bloody mouth and bit it. Yang Zheng was shocked and quickly grabbed the thick vine and glared hard. His body was dodged. The wild wolf's head hit the big tree, making a dull sound, and his body fell down. Yang Zheng took the opportunity to climb up quickly.
Soon, another wild wolf rushed over, but passed by Yang Zheng's feet. Yang Zheng looked back in surprise and found that he had climbed high enough. He breathed a sigh of relief and stopped to check around. More than a dozen wild wolves were screaming under the big tree, extremely cruel, and the cold eyes in his eyes were even more chilling.
"A sister, is it okay?" Yang Zheng shouted worriedly.
"It's okay, where are you?" Amei answered quickly.
"It's okay, we may not be able to leave for the time being." Yang Zheng said angrily.
"Why are these beasts so cunning?" Amei said worriedly.
"It's okay, don't worry, as long as we are on the tree, they won't come up." Yang Zheng comforted, picked up the gun, put the last magazine in, and was not in a hurry to open fire, there were not many bullets.
