For me, this story about Xu Xian and the Qingbai Snake is a very, very important work. Although I had already written the outline, I was afraid to write hastily. Until 2009, after "The Story of the Wild" and "The Story of the Buzhou Snake" were completed one after another, I decided to start writing this story again and renamed it to "Painting Snake". In addition to showing my wish to draw a new image of the Qingbai Snake, it also has the meaning of painting a snake. "Painting Snake" serialized the first volume in "Legend of the Ancient and Ancient. Fantasy", and the first volume was the current title of the book "The Fairy of Clouds", which had a good response. Unfortunately, due to the drastic personnel changes within the magazine, the editors I knew left one after another, and I had to pause the creation of this book again, start a new job, and serialized "Light Years" in "Novel Painting".

After ten years, I finally continued to create this story that I love, which is a mixture of five flavors. After so long, some of the original ideas, including the understanding of the characters, inevitably changed a lot. So I decided to adjust the outline and significantly add and modify the original work. In the first volume alone, more than 60,000 words were added, and many cumbersome parts were deleted. As for the modification and polishing, there are countless. In order to avoid being confused by the old works that were not modified when searching for works online, I decided to rename "The Snake" to "The Legend of Clouds" again.
