Chapter 256: Birthday Present

This time, Han Jue walked on the street in a tight dress, and no one recognized him. Fortunately, it was still winter, and the coldness of February was no gentler than January. Walking in the crowd, his outfit was not very eye-catching.

Before you go buy a gift, you still have to have lunch first.

When he went to the long-lost food area, Han Jue felt a little moved. Now that he has been back in the United States, he is well-off and still has debts, Guan Yi suggested that he doesn’t have to hurry to pay it back. Finally, he doesn’t have to worry about putting his wallet in as he was when he first moved in. He only came two or three times a week. However, the money was enough, but there was no time for him to come.

After returning from America, he made a new song for Zhang Yiman, leaving early and returning late, and ate the cafeteria in [Aidu]. After that, he was in Feixing City. He was afraid of spicy food and didn't leave a meal. Today he could finally relax and have a meal.

"I have paid so much heartbeat in exchange for piles of invoices... I planned it, did it, got it, but I got it, but I had too little time~" Han Jue hummed the lyrics of the God of Songs's "Tourbillon" to commemorate his extra emotion, thinking when would he buy a watch.

Today is New Year's Eve, and the atmosphere of celebrating the Spring Festival on the street is already very strong.

The scene in front of him was something Han Jue had never seen in his previous life.

Originally, people dressed in a very Chinese style, but today they seem to deliberately want to be a little [ancient]. Some elderly people and children wore modified Tang suits. Children ran around the roadside, with round Tang suit hats with Chinese characteristics on their heads, which was particularly festive.

Han Jue is in it, and it feels like he is at a theme party or a large comic exhibition.

Fortunately, there are many young people dressed casually like Han Jue.

Most of the Chinese restaurants have been closed, so Han Jue found a Vietnamese restaurant for dinner. The restaurant is relatively small and not many people come, so Han Jue can sit in the corner and hide.

The restaurant's decoration style is minimalist (monotonous), with large cyan and white intertwined, making people feel very labor-intensive. It seems that it is a restaurant that wins by quality.

Han Jue ordered Vietnamese pancakes, seafood rolls, and a bowl of rice noodles. After tasting them, the taste was indeed not perfunctory, so he ate it alone and enjoyed it.

Han Jue has become accustomed to watching movies, eating, shopping alone, never feeling pitiful for himself, and even enjoying it a little.

In the end, because the food was so delicious, Han felt that he was so moved that the restaurant owner saw through his true face. The boss was very excited and hummed in a strange tone, but Han Jue could hear it was "Breaking to the End" from last night's finals.

Han Jue smiled and planned to sign the boss, but the boss said he was a fan of Zhang Yiman.

After Han Jue's meal, the boss kept Han Jue with a discount and asked for a photo. Han Jue accepted it happily, thinking that he had instigated Zhang Yiman's fans. As a result, Han Jue stood in a good position and wanted to take a photo with the boss, but the boss said that it was not like this.

Finally, the boss stood beside Han Jue, who looked at the camera lens and held the phone seriously as if it were advertising products. The screen of the phone was filled with Zhang Yiman's bright smile.

The three of them took a photo in this way.

After dressing up his equipment, Han Jue bid farewell to the silly Vietnamese restaurant owner. He planned to use this method to lose him in the future.

I just finished my meal and felt sleepy and my head was a little dizzy, but the gift was not ready at this time, and it was not time to go back to take a nap.

When I passed by a bookstore, I planned to go in and stroll around and wake up the gods.

The bookstore is not a library, but naturally it is noisy. It just so happens that the bookstore gently puts the final song list of yesterday's "Singer". When Han Jue entered, he had not yet put Zhang Yiman's one, but it was "Goodbye to my friend". Han Jue passed by several young people and could hear the young people subconsciously humming the chorus along the radio.

Han Jue passed by these young people as usual. He remembered his purpose: he came to learn and gain knowledge.

"Hmm? Is it sold out?" Han Jue frowned and glanced back and forth around a bookcase.

[It's really gone.] After Han Jue searched ten times, he finally confirmed that he didn't find it.

His eyes suddenly glanced at the cover of the book held by a man, and Han Jue's eyes lit up.

"Comic Youth Weekly"!

This person's outfit is similar to Han Jue's fear of cold knitted hats, sunglasses, and black masks. But Han Jue could tell that the other party was a girl.

He was like a hyena staying near the lion that was eating, silently and patiently. As long as the girl put the comic down, Han Jue would take 0.68 seconds to rush over and then take the comic over in 0.37 seconds.

But the girl flipped through it, nodded, put the book together, and walked towards the counter, ready to buy it.

"ah……"

Han Jue took a breath and sighed regretfully, looking very unwilling.

Unexpectedly, this sigh made the girl stop suddenly.

Han Jue's body stiffened, and he felt the girl's gaze rolling on his face, thinking that something was wrong.

[Recognize me?] Han Jue is afraid that after being called out, he will have to put a few less equipment on his body. [It is not advisable to stay here for a long time.]

Just as Han Jue was about to turn around, the girl staring at Han Jue suddenly spoke:

“Yo.”

The sound is blocked by a mask, but you can still feel the tenderness of the tone.

[This sound is heard, it is the sound of an acquaintance.] Han Jue is sure.

Han Jue didn't know many people, and his ears were more sensitive to sound than his eyes to facial features, so he could tell who this girl was at once.

"Oh, it's you?" Han Jue was also surprised, and his tense shoulders relaxed.

What a coincidence.

Lin Qinliang put the comic in her hand and said quietly, "I'm here to buy the comic."

Lin Qin's Chinese language is becoming more and more standard.

Han Jue stared at the comic intently, feeling as dazzling as dusk. He sighed and nodded to show that he knew.

Then the two fell silent.

The two of them met three times in total, but they were just able to say hello, and no one was ready to talk about what content to talk about after saying hello.

Now that I have said a few words, there is nothing left afterwards and I can’t continue to greet you.

Han Jue didn't have the habit of awkward chatting, so he planned to say goodbye to this fellow Sakura Country and go to other areas to visit.

"Are you here alone?" Lin Qin looked around.

When Han Jue heard this question, his eyes flashed behind his sunglasses, and he looked at Lin Qin without answering. After a long time, he asked back: "What, are you worried about the reporter?"

If the two of them were dressed like this, they would really be able to make up any story if they were photographed by the reporter. It is understandable that the girl was concerned about this. But Han Jue unconsciously felt that such an artist was boring.

Lin Qin seemed to feel the alienation hidden in Han Jue's tone. She smiled, shook her head, and said, "No. I'm worried that after you are recognized, you may not be able to get out of here alone. After all, you are famous now."

After saying that, he drew a small circle with his index finger wearing thick gloves.

Han Jue put his mask and sunglasses tighter and said, "It's a bit exaggerating."

"No," Lin Qin turned sideways, facing the bookcase, holding the comic in one hand on her chest, and stroked the spine with her index finger with her other hand, "I came earlier than you, and I listened to several songs. Xiaoman's song has been played. After the play, several students next to her started chatting, but they all talked about you."

"How do I answer what you said? Well? Should I thank you or those students?" Han Jue said helplessly.

[I am also very distressed, it is not what I took the initiative to become famous.] This is quite hateful, especially when I was with my colleagues, I didn’t say it out loud, and I only dared to think about it in my heart.

Lin Qin was amused by Han Jue's words, turned to look at Han Jue, pursed her lips, and said, "Why don't you thank Xiaoman."

"That's true, everything is thanks to her." Han Jue nodded in agreement.

"Your words sound strange, like what the villain said." Han Jue could feel the curve of Lin Qin's mouth under the mask.

"You're thinking too much." Han Jue wouldn't admit it.

Lin Qin stopped worrying about this, quickly changed the topic and asked: "Xiao Man will have her birthday tomorrow. Have you prepared a gift? She has been looking forward to the gift for a long time."

Han Jue narrowed his eyes and felt palpitations for forgetting his birthday in a parallel world: "Of course you're ready."

"Really?" Lin Qin said curiously, "What is it? Is it convenient to tell me?"

Han Jue was very alert and worried that his creativity would be stolen, so he did not answer first, but asked back: "What are you going to give?"

"I plan to give Xiaoman a skirt." Lin Qin replied obediently.

Han Jue nodded and said, "I plan to give her a puppy."

"Wow! Puppy!"
