28 Speeding

Under the manic roar, the black car drove rapidly on the highway, dodging left and right. The flash of passing made other vehicles on the road curse.

While walking fiercely, the scenery on both sides of the road swept rapidly, fields, green shade, buildings, and bridges.

This car is like a black leopard running tirelessly on a road in the United States, roaring irritably while running, looking particularly arrogant.

But not long after, it suddenly changed its previous appearance and began to slow down. Finally, the "leopard" stopped on the side of the road.

Then, in the passenger seat, Bobby, wearing a torn hat, got out of it with weak legs.

"I... I really regret getting into your car." He murmured with a pale face, holding the car door with his hands, and breathing fresh air outside the car with a slightly hunched back.

Bobby seemed to have suffered a certain amount of torture. After a little slowing outside, he turned to look inside the car: "The sulphur smell in the car is too strong."

He said, before Shire in the driver's seat responded, he turned to look at the road behind the car, and the faint black marks made him frown.

"The tire marks are too obvious. This is not a good thing."

As he murmured, he walked to the butt of the car, squatted on the ground and checked for a moment, and couldn't help but sigh.

"Hey, the wheels are full of sulfur."

As he said that, he got up and came to the driving window, looked at the young man and told him seriously: "Charle, you must be careful. If your car is faster, it will probably ignite around."

Shire shrugged when he heard this. Although it seemed like a car, it was actually a hell creature. Hell creatures would basically leave traces of sulfur when walking on the earth. His nightmare beast was no exception.

"There are gains and losses. I think this car is pretty good. At least anyone you want to chase after will be able to catch up." Charles said, patting the steering wheel that marked the red ram head in his hand.

"And, I don't have to control this car, it can run by itself."

These words changed Bobby's face.

"You mean, just now... you didn't even put the steering wheel?"

"I'm holding it, but I don't control it." Charle admitted: "Otherwise, it's not that fast. I'm actually not very familiar with driving."

"You can click slowly..."

"Isn't this an urgent matter?"

"We've called, I'm sure Ellen won't be surprised."

"I believe it is on one hand, and whether it is fast or not is on the other hand." Charles replied seriously

"Okay, kid." Rolling his eyes, Bobby murmured: "Get into your car again unless I have Alzheimer's disease."

These words made Charles stunned.

"and you……"

Bobby waved his hand.

"Don't worry about me, you go first, I'll take a ride."

"This is out of the wilderness?"

"no problem."

"I think you're better off coming up. At the speed just now, it won't take long."

"Come on, I want to live a few more years, but I don't want to see God in advance."

"...Okay." Seeing him holding his insistence, Charle nodded helplessly, then stepped on the accelerator and "stormed" away.

...

There was an extra car for some reason, and this matter could be barely evaded, but there was an extra car full of sulfur smell, so it would be a bit difficult to lie again.

Not to mention facing an experienced hunter.

So the deal between Charles and the Devil is naturally unconcealed. However, Old Bobby didn't say anything about this.

First, Charles did not use his own or other people's souls to trade, and second, this was considered a private matter of Charles and did not cause any bad effects.

So when Charles went to him after learning some news, Bobby did not issue any objection.

Even suddenly heard that this car was not simple, he was still full of curiosity.

However, this curiosity has basically been exhausted on the road.

With Charles here, the car's special abilities will not come out to make trouble, but neither speed nor smell, it is obviously something that an old man can bear.

The smell of sulfur is a bit like rotten eggs, which is already unpleasant. As for the speed, the driving speed and starting speed of this car are far from comparable to ordinary cars.

Just now, while the car was running at a speed of more than 300 per hour, it was not the fastest.

"It's just a little louder."

He murmured, holding Charles on the steering wheel with both hands and letting the car drive automatically, and the accelerator on his feet was automatically pressed to the bottom without his control.

So much so that the car has been accelerating, accelerating, and accelerating again.

As a result, faint black marks appeared on the road. At the same time, a smell of rotten eggs fluttered in the wind. Accompanied by the strong roar, this fast-moving Dodge 1969 seemed particularly arrogant and domineering as if it was a rascal crossing the river.

Although the noise was quite loud, Charles was still very satisfied with the speed. However, he had not long since entered the new society. He obviously forgot that there were speed limits on the road, and as a native hell beast, it was naturally even more impossible for this car to follow any traffic rules.

So before he knew it, he caused a lot of noise.

...

The black car was driving rapidly on the road, and in the blink of an eye, the violent roar, the strong wind that followed blew up the state policeman standing in front of a police car on the side of the road to messy clothes, which also made his face a little dark.

"Another speeding idiot!" murmured, and he picked up the walkie-talkie on his shoulder.

“Call echo37, please answer.”

After a faint clamor, there was a response in the instrument. "The command center received it, please speak."

"There is a black Dodge in Section C of Highway N-19 that is severely speeding, with the license plate number... Damn, I didn't see the license plate number clearly."

He said as he got into the police car and wanted to chase him. As a result, when he put on his seat belt, the other party had no shadow."

Seeing this, he patted the steering wheel helplessly.

"A modified car for shit!"

...

Peel, South Dakota, within the Police Department District Services Department.

Logistics staff are busy and there are endless situations, and a noisy and orderly working atmosphere fills the entire office area.

The crackling typing sounds accompanied by the occasional conversation constitute most of the noise here.

In a busy state, watching the lightning-like black shadow on the screen in front of her rushing on the road, a young black woman wearing headset reported to the deputy director who passed by her.

"Echo37 reported that there was a black Dodge that was extremely speeding. Our speed test camera captured the target, and the license plate number was arkansas-605sin"

Deputy Director Kage nodded after hearing this: "Very good, ask the on-duty team to send someone to intercept..."

But before he finished speaking, a puzzled voice suddenly rang out not far away.

"Why am I seeing california-99nx328?"

"California car?" The two of them were stunned. Then the black woman couldn't help looking at the screen in front of her and swiped the mouse to check it again.

But before she could start, the third voice rang out.

"How could it be California? It's obviously Alaska!"

“…”

“What I saw was Delaware.”

"What are you talking about? This is obviously a Florida license..."

"yes……"

In the originally ordered office area, it seemed a little messed up because of a "small thing" of speeding.

Some people who were attracted by this special incident and did not care about themselves could not help but call out the surveillance screen. As a result, they found that the license plate numbers taken by each camera were different, including those in the south of the United States, those in the north of the United States, and even those outside the United States, which were in a mess, with no less than a dozen.

Everyone, including the deputy director, looked confused.

"Have you encountered a ghost car?"

This is a question, but no one can answer it with certainty.

The logistics staff temporarily gave up their original work, and couldn't help but repeat the scenes, and their eyes gradually became surprised.

The same is true for Deputy Director Cage. He sat in an empty space and began to control the computer himself. As a result, everything still seemed supernatural at the moment.

I was still stunned, and there was a voice not far away to report.

“That car has passed the state boundary.”

"Where did it go?" the deputy director asked with a frown.

"Iowa, Sioux City direction, uh, or is he trying to go to Nebraska?"

“Iowa Nebraska?”
