"The desire I mentioned in my mouth is the fundamental desire for human survival, which is to eat, drink, sleep, and do."

"If it weren't for monks, there would naturally be other desires besides these four desires."

"But in addition to survival needs, the additional desires that need to be abandoned and retreated."

"If you allow these desires to grow and allow these desires to run rampantly, you will regain your original heart and lose the possibility of rebirth in the Pure Land."
