38. Chapter 38(1/3)

38

Ding Ji didn't know what Lin Wuyu would feel when he heard this name.

When he heard the word "Lin Zhan" on the phone, he felt breathless and his hands were shaking. He stood on the balance bike and almost fell down. He held the shelf with his hand and did not fall down.

"Be careful," a staff member glanced at him, "If you can't stand firm, get down."

"Sorry," Ding Ji didn't bother to buy water, so he leaned his body directly, quickly passed through the middle of the shelves, left the supermarket, stopped by a wall with no one around the corner, and then confirmed again, "Are you Lin Zhan?"

"What is your relationship with Lin Wuyu?" Lin Zhan did not answer, "Class or friends?"

"Friend," said Ding Ji, "I am not from the same school as him."

"Which school is he?" Lin Zhan asked immediately.

Ding Ji paused: "He is from the affiliated high school..."

"Why did he look for me?" Lin Zhan asked again before he could finish speaking.

"I don't know what to say, you should ask him," Ding Ji said, "but this time your parents asked him to go to you."

"Yeah." The other side just responded simply.

Ding Ji felt that his palms were sweating all over. Looking for Lin Zhan was like looking for ginseng dolls in the forest. When he saw a little trace, he had to go there carefully, for fear that he would run away if he was alarmed.

He is now afraid that he will say something wrong and prevent Lin Zhan from appearing again.

"What did you just say that Lin Wuyu is from the affiliated high school?" Lin Zhan returned to the previous question.

"The God of Learning." Ding Ji said.

"Is that right?" Lin Zhan said.

Ding Ji heard him laughing softly, so he quickly took the opportunity to add: "He scored the top scorer in the national college entrance examination this year, with 732 points."

"So amazing." Lin Zhan said.

"I'll give you his number," Ding Ji said, "You call him..."

"No," Lin Zhan simply rejected him.

Ding Ji was stunned and didn't know what to say for several seconds.

He didn't know if he said something inappropriately, so Lin Zhan, who took the initiative to call, refused to communicate directly with Lin Wuyu.

"Thank you." Lin Zhan said another sentence.

Ding Ji became anxious when he heard this. Is he going to hang up the phone?

"Wait a minute, wait..." He said in a series of words, "If you don't contact Lin Wuyu, why are you calling? Do you know the current situation of your family? Do you know what Lin Wuyu is living because of you! You haven't seen him for ten years, and you don't want to know him..."

"I don't like to make phone calls," said Lin Zhan.

"Then why are you calling me!" Ding Ji was furious.

Lin Zhan's tone was very calm: "Do I still go over to have an interview with you?"

Ding Ji opened his mouth and didn't say anything.

"I know where Lin Wuyu lives now," said Lin Zhan.

"How did you know?" Ding Ji suddenly became nervous, "Have you followed him?"

"No," said Lin Zhan, "I thought you were following me."

"Then is this number yours?" Ding Ji asked, "Can I tell Lin Wuyu your phone number?"

"Yes." Lin Zhan said.

But it may not be able to answer, Ding Ji judged.

"I'll look for him after I think about it," said Lin Zhan, "thank you."

Before Ding Ji could speak, the other side had already died.

Ding Ji was stunned for a few seconds with his cell phone, and then he trembled and dialed Lin Wuyu's phone number.

Busy.

"Ah--" Ding Ji turned around in the same place and immediately sent another message to Lin Wuyu.

He didn't dare to mention Lin Zhan's name, for fear that Lin Wuyu's work would affect his emotions.

"Then I won't have to go tomorrow," Lin Wuyu stood at the gate of Sha County and called. Since Ding Ji told him that he could go to Sha County to eat a few bites that day, he would come over and eat a few bites every time he came back. "In the end, if the materials are not enough, I will go there again, and I feel that it's enough."

"I also feel that there are a lot of angles," said Sister Ling from the other side, "Then you rest first. If you don't have to make up for the materials, I've paid you the final payment these two days."

"Thank you sister." Lin Wuyu said.

"Are you waiting for food again?" Sister Ling asked.

"Yes." Lin Wuyu smiled.

"Brother Ben said he would prepare some snacks for you..." Sister Ling laughed, "Okay, go and eat, wait until I figured out here, I'll contact you."

"Okay." Lin Wuyu responded.

After hanging up the phone, my phone rang again.

It was probably Lao Lin, and he calculated that the notice should arrive soon in the past few days.

He went into the store and took a packed soup and a box of steamed dumplings. He walked into the community and clicked on the news.

-Call me now

It's Ding Ji.

Lin Wuyu took a look at the time. At four o'clock in the afternoon, what could happen now?

He dialed Ding Ji's number, and before he could hear the ringing, he picked it up there. Ding Ji's voice was a little gasping: "Lin Wuyu! What are you doing now?"

"I just got back from my busy schedule," Lin Wuyu was stunned, "What's wrong?"

"I just answered a call, and it was Lin Zhan who called him," said Ding Ji.

Lin Wuyu stopped suddenly: "Lin Zhan?"

"Yes, the phone number I left! He called!" Ding Ji's voice suddenly increased a lot, and he was a little excited when he heard it, "The mask we saw that day must be him!"

"What did you say?" Lin Wuyu asked.

"I didn't say much, he asked what we had to do with each other and why we were looking for him," Ding Ji said in a series of ways, without giving him a chance to interrupt. "I told him that you are the top scorer in the national high school god! He was very happy, but I said I would give him your number, he didn't want it..."

Lin Wuyu felt that his breathing was a little uncomfortable and could not move at the entrance of the community.

A car behind him honked the horn before he barely walked away, entered the gate, and sat down on a broken chair that someone threw out by the roadside.

"Why don't he?" he asked, feeling his throat tightening.

"I don't know, he said he doesn't like to call! He will look for you after he has thought about it. I said he can give you his number. He agreed, but I heard what he meant. If you call him, he might not be able to answer him." Ding Ji's speech speed kept thrusting like a machine gun, "Listen to me, Lin Wuyu, he must be living nearby, he must be very close to you!"

"Why?" Lin Wuyu sat upright.

"He said he knew where you live." Ding Ji said.

"Has he followed me?" Lin Wuyu subconsciously looked around.

"I asked the same question, he said no," Ding Ji finally calmed down a little, "There is a point, he said, I thought you were following me, what does this mean? Think about it!"

"He thought I lived here because I found his place." Lin Wuyu immediately reacted.

"Yes," said Ding Ji, "in addition to the subway entrance, we must have met him on the way to the subway entrance in the community, but we didn't notice it, but he saw it."

"And it should have been after meeting at the subway entrance," Lin Wuyu said, "otherwise he wouldn't have an impression of us."

"Yes, it must be like this," said Ding Ji. "You are still so quick at this time?"

"It's okay, but at this time, I don't have to worry about understanding the fact that you flatter me." Lin Wuyu said.

"What are you flattering? I'll just slap your ass..." Ding Ji stopped halfway and quickly answered the next sentence, "I'll send him a call to you."

"No need," said Lin Wuyu, "I won't beat it even if I hold it."

"...Okay," said Ding Ji, "Do you don't like to make phone calls either?"

Lin Wuyu smiled: "It's not me who ran away."

"Then you pay attention to the people around you this time. Maybe you can meet them again," said Ding Ji. "Maybe he will go to find you."

"Maybe he hasn't thought about it," said Lin Wuyu, "Don't worry, just do whatever you want."

"Do you want to tell your parents?" Ding Ji asked.

"No," Lin Wuyu thought for a while, "Let's talk about it when he thinks about it. Did you tell him my mother's illness?"

"No, the phone number he called me was not enough for two minutes," Ding Ji said. "He only asked you which school you were in and why you were looking for him, and didn't mention your parents."

"I understand," Lin Wuyu stood up, "Ding Ji."

"Hmm?" Ding Ji replied.

"Thank you." Lin Wuyu said.

"What do you thank?" Ding Ji asked.
