Chapter 266

"Human flesh?!"

Roger's eyelids twitched slightly and looked at the boy who was pressed against the wall by Henrik.

Since the time of contact, the young man has given him a good sense of sense, but he is more willing to believe in Henrik.

"Ahem!"

The boy was stuck in his throat and couldn't say a word, Henrik relaxed the force on his palm slightly.

"I...I don't know what you're talking about?"

"This is just ordinary fish soup. Old Hank specifically told me not to deliver it to you, but I still secretly left you a bowl."

As the boy said, he took out half of the dried fish in his pocket tremblingly.

"Let him down."

Just then, an old voice came from outside the house.

Old Hank pushed the door open and entered.

His eyes were a little complicated and he stayed on Henrik's face for a moment.

"We didn't hurt anyone."

He raised his hands.

"It's been a long time since the village can't catch fish, and there are monsters around it."

"We can only eat some corpses floating from the sea, both humans and monsters."

Roger's heart moved, and he remembered the Crescent City after being washed by the waves. He seemed to understand something.

“How long has this kind of day lasted?”

"A few months." Old Hank replied.

"If I don't believe it, I can take you to see it, but please don't hurt him."

"This child is a pitiful man. A few years ago, his parents took some villagers to sea to fish, but never came back."

"We searched all the nearby waters, but we couldn't even find the body."

Henrik had already let go of his hand when he heard this.

"They must have not died yet, maybe they have just gone to another world." The young man raised his head and answered stubbornly.

But after hearing his words, the old Hank just sighed, "There are monsters around him, and the only road to Crescent City has been blocked again. We really have no choice."

"People always have to live."

The sunlight shone on Old Hank's back, adding a layer of shadow to his face. Roger looked carefully and saw a slight blue gloss on Old Hank's skin.

His heart suddenly sank.

Suddenly I remembered the numerous corpses near the seabed passage.

Those twisted dead bones should have washed out from another small world, and perhaps the old man and the others were thrown into it.

"Does everyone in the village know about this?"

Old Hank shook his head.

"There are only me and a few of them. We took turns to guard the sea area and no villagers were allowed to approach it."

His eyes flashed, "John's parents were the last villagers who had been to that sea."

John refers to the boy standing by the wall.

Hearing this, Roger thought of a lot.

There may be another story in it.

Henrik glanced at Roger, not knowing what to say for a moment.

"let's go."

Roger sighed. The time cycle of that mysterious space is likely to have been destroyed by him, and there may never be any new corpses washed out from it.

The village will soon be out of food.

Panic will spread rapidly, and this situation will also breed extreme emotions in their bodies, and then the negative energy accumulated in the body will completely explode.

When he returns here next time, he may face the same situation as in another village.

A village of fishmen.

Maybe everyone will be killed.

Before leaving, he glanced at the old man, "There will be no new corpses found by you. Migrate in advance, leave here and find a new place."

After hearing Roger's words, the old man showed a hint of relief in his eyes, "In such a world, where else can we go?"

“It’s all the same.”

The boy standing by the wall still showed ignorance in his eyes. The fish soup was scattered on the floor, and the fragrance drifted out made the boy's index finger move.

What to eat is obviously less important than hunger and survival.

When he walked out of the door, Roger also saw two tall villagers, who were staring at Roger and the others.

At the end of the village, smoke rose, and Roger could still hear the villagers talking and laughing. He shook his head and turned around and left.

Walking along the dirt road outwards of the village, neither of them spoke, until he walked a distance, Henrik broke his silence.

“Is what we’ve seen before true?”

Roger nodded.

"If that Yarahan is really an alien species, then he must not have died. Then the new president who will take over him, Mr. Vic..."

"I'm afraid it's dangerous!"

"Spread." An inexplicable emotion surged in Roger's heart.

"Unlike those so-called holy sons who came from other worlds, these guys who entered our world with their soul consciousness are even more terrifying."

"Their existence will only bring disaster and are the target of the Hunter Guild's full efforts to kill."

"Return to Bordeaux immediately, I want to report this matter!"

"Wait a minute," Roger stopped.

"If that Yarahan was really alive and killed President Vicky as you guessed, after so many years of operation, most of the Hunter Guild's people are probably his people."

Henrik's heart sank.

"If this is the case, I can only go to the Federation of Trade Unions, or..."

His eyes lit up.

"Mr. Sean!"

"Yes, we can go and find Mr. Sean. My family may be able to help with this matter."

"Let's go back immediately!"

Roger nodded, but he thought more about the problems.

If this Yarahan comes from another world, what about Dickinson who also comes from another world?

Will there be any relationship between the two of them?

Also in the Hunter Guild, if we didn't know each other, Roger would never believe it.

After walking a while, they saw the levels set by the Hunter Guild, in which Roger also saw the young man Robert who was originally guarding the exit.

I was also a little surprised to see Roger Robert, but I just asked for it on a routine basis and let the two pass.

Back at Crescent City, this time Roger obviously felt the strange aura in the city, as if something big was about to happen.

"It's very similar to the night before the disaster." Henrik also noticed something strange, "not that strong."

Because of the guild's intentional indulgence, the city residents looked at the demon hunter with alienation and alertness hidden in their eyes.

"It is easy to breed evil thoughts in such an environment."

"And that black mist..."

After submitting the mission at the resident, the two of them came directly to the entrance of the road and crossed the barrier and returned to Bordeaux.

Henrik had to be very careful about finding a way to contact his family, and he could not tell anyone until he met Sean.

Roger went back to his house directly. Next, he had to consolidate his mental power and complete the practice of the second magic seal in one go.
