Chapter 489 Inside the Buddha Tower
There are famous temples, and there must be pagodas. Baoshan Temple must be a famous temple. If anyone does not recognize Baoshan Temple as a famous temple, Zen Master Fahai will definitely come down to earth to cut down. The pagoda of Baoshan Temple has nine floors, made of wood, which is the supreme "nine-level pagoda".
In addition to the nine-level pagoda of the Buddha Pagoda, Baoshan Temple also has many other buildings, which are renovated every few years, so they all look very new.
Baoshan Temple has so much incense every year, what else can it do if it is not used to build a house? Could it be donated to a certain crossroads?
Damn, if that is the case, half of the people who donate incense money to Baoshan Temple will definitely be missing.
The building layout of Baoshan Temple is flat and square. When you enter the mountain gate, count it inside, and then you will find the mountain gate hall, the Heavenly King Hall, the Great Hall of the Great Hall, the Fahai Zen Master Hall, the Dharma Hall, the Sutra Pavilion, etc. There are bell towers on both sides of the mountain gate hall, all of which are facade buildings, which are quite grand. The Heavenly King Hall worships the Four Great Vajras, the Spoken Dharma Vajra, the Victory Vajra, the Victory Vajra, and the Forever Vajra. The Mahara Hall worships the Buddha Shakyamuni and the Bodhisattva Arhats. The Zen Master Fahai is worshipped by Zen Master Fahai, which is only smaller than the Mahara Hall. The Dharma Hall is a place for preaching scriptures in the temple. The Sutra Pavilion is used to store scriptures.
Most temple buildings are like this, almost become a law. A central axis, the front and back buildings start and turn, like a song of music that responds from the front and back, with vivid charm. These temple buildings are combined with the vast mountains, green pines and cypresses, small bridges and flowing water. They are both subtle, gentle, low-key and restrained, and dignified and generous, echoing the heaven and earth, and blending into one.
At this moment, the monks in Baoshan Temple were having a meal in the dining hall. Oh, after reading the scriptures for a day, they wouldn’t say that their legs were sore, and they were still hungry. The monks ate very deliciously, although there were no big fish and meat, no hamburgers, no Maotai, and no Wuliangye.
The abbot Zen Master Fayin is not among the dining team, but is in the underground palace of the ninth-level pagoda.
Only previous abbots can enter the underground palace of the Nine-level Buddha Tower. In the end, there are magical horses hidden in it. Outsiders are blinded by their eyes. Even the old monk who has lived in Baoshan Temple for the rest of his life cannot say anything.
In fact, the underground palace of the nine-level Buddha Tower in Baoshan Temple is not very big, and it is a bit intimidating to call the underground palace. But it is not called the underground palace, but it can also be called the Shenma? Let’s call it the underground palace for now!!
After entering the nine-level pagoda, the first thing that caught my eye was Zen Master Fahai’s golden body statue.
It has to be admitted that Zen Master Fahai is more handsome than Master Jidian. He is neither fat nor thin, and is about 1.8 meters tall, and he feels quite majestic. As for whether Zen Master Fahai really looks like this, it is unknown. After all, Fahai was a person from hundreds of years ago, and there is no photo of the gods left behind.
There is a mechanism under the statue of Zen Master Fahai. Press the mechanism button and Zen Master Fahai can move. After that, a secret door will appear under the statue. Open the secret door and a staircase will appear. Walk down the staircase and the underground palace will arrive.
At this moment, I saw the lights in the underground palace, with golden light shining everywhere. The palace was covered with yellow silk, and when the lights were shining, the white light turned yellow. This lamp was not a modern bulb, but an oil lamp, which was even more appropriate to say that it was a Buddha lamp.
Buddha lamps are no more than ordinary oil lamps. They can illuminate sentient beings with clear minds and bright eyes and drive people to be kind.
The underground palace is not very big, just like a cellar. So much so that the howling sounds of ghosts and wolves echo here for a long time, striking.
"Stinky monk, let me go."
"Ahhhh! Let me go, let me go quickly."
...
Okay, these are all the sounds of ghosts and monsters, which makes people's scalp numb.
Suddenly, a different voice sounded, and a very magnetic male voice sounded, "Amitabha, put down the butcher's knife and became a Buddha. Oz. Sahoo Sora, Sahoo Sora, Sahoo Bodhidharma. Sahoo Sora, Sahoo Sora, Sahoo Sora,..."
On the bluestone floor of the underground palace, Zen Master Fayin stood cross-legged, holding his hands in front of his crotch, and the Wuwang Buddhist beads hanging on his neck were just hanging in his hands. Zen Master Fayin chanted the scriptures while holding the beads, and his eyes were closed.
If you listen carefully, the source of the ghost howling sound is located not far from Zen Master Fayin, about one meter in front of him.
One meter in front of Zen Master Fayin, there is a round bluestone slab. There is a black round object with a diameter of about 20 centimeters on it. It is flat like a disc, and at first glance it looks like an enlarged seal. Since it is a seal, it is necessary to engrave words on it. This seal is engraved with secret words of magic, which is really not understandable to ordinary people. This object is one of the supreme magic weapons of Buddhism, the Demon-Subduing Seal, and is also one of the "State of Temple" treasures left by Zen Master Fahai to Baoshan Temple.
There is a small cave under the round bluestone slab under the Demon Subduing Seal. The demon-slaying ghosts conquered by Zen Master Fayin. Zen Master Fayin gave this cave a very vivid name, the Demon-Suppressing Cave.
There are more than a dozen demons and monsters imprisoned by Zen Master Fayin in the Demon-Suppressing Cave, including ghosts with unrest, snake monsters, weasel spirits, etc. Recently, there is another monster in the Demon-Suppressing Cave, the White Fox Monster and the Little Shadow Girl.
The magic power of the Demon Subduing Seal is powerful and can make monsters appear in their original form. At this moment, all the demons and monsters in the Demon-Suppressing Cave have their original form.
Let’s not talk about other monsters, just talk about the little white fox! They are so cute, Zen Master Fayin, are you embarrassed to lock them up? Are you not afraid of being punished by God?
Poor little white fox, you are unlucky and meet Zen Master Fayin. I don’t know when you will be able to regain your freedom in this level.
Zen Master Fayin is still compassionate and does not kill these demons, but wants to enlighten them. Every day, Zen Master Fayin will come to recite a scripture for these suppressed demons.
Change your eyes and see another scene.
On the wide river surface, there were ships coming and going one after another, and the whistle kept ringing. Most of them were cargo ships, and there were also cruise ships and yachts.
Now there are more rich people in China, especially in provinces with high economic benefits along the river and coast. China is strict in the management of private jets, so more wealthy people prefer cruise ships and yachts.
It is not the flood season now, and the river water flows slowly. However, when the river water reaches the "Cowherd Rock" in Baoshan, it immediately rushes, as if it is soaring. No matter how good the water is, people will be drowned when they fall here.
Hey, there seems to be someone above the rushing river!! I'll just go and stand on the water. Is that still a human being?
It's okay if you're not a "person", you're a demon! And it's a beautiful banshee.
Sister Ling'er is standing next to the "Cowherd Rock" in Baoshan, above the river.
