468 The Battle Begins (Part 2)

Mironov will continue to suffer because Ubolevic still did not arrive at the designated position. After defeating the enemy in front of him, Ubolevic was surprised to find that he had lost control of the troops!

Not a joke at all, he lost control and the entire battlefield was in chaos. In order to rush forward, the troops were fighting on their own... Ubolevic could only stare at all. If the original combat plan was not revised, he would have no way to end this damn chaos.

"Have you contacted the First Division?" Ubolevic asked while rubbing his temples.

"Report to the commander-in-chief, no. The evening thunderstorm disturbed the electromagnetic waves and could not receive any signals at all!"

Ubolevich sighed softly. He knew very well that even without the interference of lightning, the situation of the first division would probably not be much better than that of the second division. These inexplicable Polish troops were too bad, and they blocked his army like mud. He might not be able to move before he was cleared of the mud.

"Can you contact Comrade Andre?" Ubolevic asked again.

“Not for the time being.”

Ubolevic smiled bitterly and ordered: "Then remember, after the communication was resumed, I immediately telegraphed Comrade Andre, telling him that we had encountered a considerable number of Polish troops halfway through. The advancement sequence and organization of the troops were completely disrupted by this group of enemies that suddenly emerged. According to the original plan, we rushed to the near Levitz River to set up an ambush, and the combat plan to annihilate Pisusky's direct troops was no longer possible... Judging from the current situation, we must adjust our military deployment!"

Speaking of this, Ubolevich paused for a moment. After closing his eyes and thinking for a while, he continued: "I suggest that you give up your original plan and fight an annihilation war east of Vovoming as appropriate..."

How far is Vowoming from Warsaw? Let's put it this way, Vowoming and Legionovo have similar status, both of which are satellite cities around Warsaw, but one is on the east side of Warsaw and the other is on the north side of Warsaw.

It takes less than 50 kilometers to get from Vovoming to Warsaw. If you take the train, you can reach it in two hours. Even the slowest and slowest train will be two hours old. Fighting annihilation war near Vovoming will inevitably be disturbed by the Warsaw defenders. Once Pisusky sees out the combat intention of the East Prussian name PLA, the consequences will be unimaginable!

"Vowomine is too close!"

Li Xiaofeng was naturally a little unhappy, but Ubolevic also explained the actual situation clearly. Who knew that Pisusky would call for the king, and who would have thought that Ubolevic would just hit him. This coincidence and accident on the battlefield was the most test of the art of command.

Li Xiaofeng naturally doesn’t have much command art, so he doesn’t know how to clean up this mess.

"Vovo is clear that it is too close," Triandafilov suddenly said. "But from the reality, Comrade Ubolevic is right. It is impossible to continue the original combat plan. Instead of hastily leading the chaotic troops to continue north to the banks of the Levitz River to try their luck, it is better to annihilate the enemy on the spot, and then repair fortifications near Vovomin on the one hand to make preparations to block the Polish reinforcements in Warsaw City, and on the other hand, to rectify the troops and prepare for annihilation war!"

Li Xiaofeng looked at the map. To be honest, he really couldn't rest assured. First, Vovoming is too close to Warsaw. Once the blockade is not successful, the Poles will be able to join forces successfully, and the next battle will not be fought. Second, Ubolevich's army must first solve the current enemy. Judging from his telegram, the situation is absolutely not ideal. After annihilation of this enemy, he fought continuously and then encountered Pisusky's main force. This has a very high requirement for the troops. Can the strength of the Prussian People's Liberation Army in Edom be achieved?

Triandafilov said calmly: "To be honest, this is indeed quite difficult, but we have no better way. The brave ones win when they meet on a narrow road. I believe the young men can do it."

Li Xiaofeng remained silent for a long time. He was making the final thought. According to the previous combat plan, he and Triandafilov only had two brigades of troops, which totaled less than 8,000 people. The original task of this force was to act, and to create an illusion to confuse the Polish army in Warsaw City. The Polish army in the city was about 20,000 to 30,000, and judging from the order to support the king issued by Bisusky, Bisusky will receive further reinforcements in the next period of time. Can eight thousand people be blocked?

For ten minutes, Li Xiaofeng didn't say a word. Just when Triandafilov was a little anxious, a fairy slapped the table hard: "His grandma, I'm done! Tell Comrade Ubolevich that I agreed to his request... He will be fully responsible for the annihilation war. My request is to wipe out all the reactionary Polish troops, including the Bisusky direct troops."

Speaking of this, Li Xiaofeng took a deep breath and preached to Triandafilov: "Our mission is to stop Bisuski tightly and never let him take a step over Vovoming!"

Li Xiaofeng's decision made Ubolevic feel relieved. He immediately made adjustments and ordered the five divisions and three independent brigades to stop the previous desperate acts, switch from the rushing state to the combat state, and give priority to annihilation of the three Polish king-stricken divisions who were mixed with them.

After this adjustment, the situation immediately changed. The troops finally didn't have to be half-hearted, without considering whether to rush to the road or annihilate the enemy first. The five divisions finally carried out with the flow and firmly surrounded the remaining Polish army.

"Tell the division commanders that although we have adjusted the combat plan now, we can fight the enemy first with all our hearts. But this does not mean that time is not precious. The faster we annihilate these enemies, the more calm we can be. There is a fierce battle behind us! We cannot be a little careless and slack!"

After teaching his own troops a lesson, Ubolevic did not forget Mironov who was struggling to support the riverside of the Bug. To be honest, the Independent Cavalry Brigade suffered a great loss in this battle. If they had adjusted their plans earlier, they would not have to resist for so long and would not have to pay such a heavy price.

But who can tell the things on the battlefield accurately? The art of war is the art of dealing with unexpected situations. The faster the adjustment, who can think of better adjustment methods. Who can strive to take the initiative!

"Tell Comrade Mironov. I sincerely thank his troops for their efforts and sacrifices for this battle. I had to adjust the deployment if I had to do so... Of course, this does not mean that his previous battle with the heroic Independent Cavalry Brigade had become meaningless. I want to tell him that the Independent Cavalry Brigade has bought us precious time, and every sacrifice he and his young man made is immortal!"

At the end of the telegram, Ubolevic told Mironov that his troops only needed to last another 4 to 8 hours before they could retreat. However, due to the tight forces, he could only draw a cavalry battalion to pick them up...

To be honest, Ubolevic felt very sorry for Mironov, and even more so for the soldiers who died in the blood. It was not only because of their sacrifice, but also because he was unable to draw more troops to support him. Everyone knows that with the current situation of the Independent Cavalry Brigade, without strong support, he may not be able to withdraw at all.

In a sense, Ubolevici's actions were equivalent to sacrificing the independent cavalry brigade, which was equivalent to letting them die on their own. This guilt made Ubolevici unable to sleep or eat, especially what made him feel uncomfortable was that he could not change this order. For the sake of the overall situation, he had to sacrifice Mironov and the independent cavalry brigade. This is probably the so-called "benevolent" in command of soldiers. Those who are the generals must have a sense of ruthlessness, not only to the enemy, but also to their own people when necessary!

But what is more interesting is that Mironov did not receive this telegram sent by Ubolevic to Mironov! It is not a joke at all. Radio is like a woman's aunt, and there is always a time when it is particularly entangled. Whether it is back then or now, there is no signal reception. Especially in those days, when radio was just in the early days of large-scale application, the painful aunt often comes without saying hello.

So, Mironov didn't know that he could retreat, he was still trapped on the narrow beach, enjoying wave after wave of warm hospitality from the Poles.

"More than half of the first battalion's casualties, and the second battalion was basically disabled. The third battalion has lost contact with the brigade headquarters and cannot know their accurate status. However, judging from the movements from their garrison, it is probably a bit of danger. Now the only one who can fight is the fourth battalion, which used to act as a reserve team, is the only one left."

In fact, if he didn't listen to the Chief of Staff's report, Mironov also knew what the situation was in the army. The current independent cavalry brigade could only be considered a reinforced battalion. On their front, there were at least two enemy divisions, and perhaps even more.

"Brigate Commander, it's time for us to retreat!" The Chief of Staff hesitated for a long time, and finally gritted his teeth and said his heart: "We have been pushing the enemy for three days and have exceeded the task of our superiors. Oh, if we continue to carry on, our brigade will be really wiped out! Brigade Commander, you have to leave some seeds for our brigade!"

"seed?"

Mironov closed his eyes and sighed, asking, "What's the use of leaving seeds if the war is defeated? Don't you know what this battle means to you Jews? Only by winning can you gain a foothold. Losing means a comprehensive counterattack between the Poles and the Allies, and there will be nothing left at that time!"

Speaking of this, Mironov became quite intense, and he shouted with a roar: "So, you forget the seeds of shit for me. This is a game that can only win but not lose. Even if you kill the independent cavalry brigade, even if you die, it doesn't matter! From now on, anyone who mentions the word retreat will be dealt with as a deserter! We are dead here!"

The battle continued, and the torment of Mironov continued. Just one morning passed, and his last reserve team, the fourth battalion, was crippled. Even worse, his troops were completely divided by the heavy troops of the Poles, and they were in a state of fighting each other.

Even so, Mironov still caused trouble to the Poles who were trying to cross the river as much as possible, so that they could not cross the river with peace of mind.

"These damn Jewish scrimmies!"

Bieniuk, who had just retreated from Hell Mountain to rest, witnessed a tragedy with his incomplete troops. As soon as the friendly troops crossed the river reached the middle of the river, several small sampans rushed over from the other side. While they used machine guns on the bow of the boat to strait the Polish army crossing the river, they approached wildly, but they looked a bit like an egg hitting a stone.

In fact, it was like an egg hitting a stone. The Poles' ferry was larger. The firepower at the bow was stronger. Several machine guns fired violently. The small sampan was sieve in minutes. Just as Bienniuk was cheering for his friendly forces, the only small sampan that broke through the fire net hit the ferry.

Just as the Polish soldiers on the ferry fired hundreds of guns to kill the Jewish remnants on the sampan, with a loud bang, the small sampan was instantly blown to pieces, and a fireball rose up in the middle of the ferry and rushed up to a height of dozens of meters!

Bienniuk was surprised to find that the mighty and awesome ferry had been broken into two pieces from the middle, and the bow and stern were raised quickly. In less than a minute, he sank into the Bouge River with more than 200 lives on the boat!

As you can imagine, these small sampans were filled with explosives, and the crazy Jews began to use meat bullet tactics to stop them from moving forward.

"They are crazy! This...this...this is too inhumane!"

The dumbfounded Bieniu said the above words, appearing so weak and incompetent. The weakness and incompetence of the Poles made the Jews appear increasingly brave and fearless.

It seemed that inspired by the feat of the small sampan, the soldiers of the Independent Cavalry Brigade were completely willing to go out. Faced with the Po army who tried to crush them, they not only wanted to kill one to protect their capital, but also kill two to earn one, but actually one or two enemies could no longer satisfy them. Once the situation allowed, they would rush to the enemy without hesitation with bundles of grenades or explosive packs, and solve ten or eight enemies at one time!

This crazy tactic made Poland feel overwhelmed. They strongly condemned the Jews and fearlessly called this human bomb tactic "crazy David".

For an entire afternoon, explosions could be heard near the river beach. Every sacrifice was immortal for the heroic independent cavalry brigade, and these martyrs used their lives to defend their nation and their compatriots.

Mironov later recalled: "I used to think that German soldiers were very good. They could execute the orders of their superiors without fail, just like precision killing machines... But through the battle on the Bouge River, I began to find that the Jews were inferior to the Germans at all. For the time being, their military qualities were not as good as those of German soldiers, but this could be improved in time. However, their fighting will is stronger and more fierce than the German soldiers I have seen!"

The fierce independent cavalry brigade suffered a lot from the Poles, causing their advancement to become very slow. This not only bought time for Ubolevich to annihilate the "King Army", but more importantly, it severely hit the morale of the Poles.

Veterans who participated in that battle recalled: "The Jews were ready to die and stopped us from moving forward at all costs. We all felt helpless and unsolvable for these tenacious bastards. We didn't know how to get rid of them, let alone whether we could get rid of them. The whole army was depressed and full of despair for the future..."

The slow progress and low morale of the direct troops made Bisusky very angry. He sent out one telegram after another with fierce condemnation and questioning, cursing the troops from top to bottom.

But this has no meaning, because to that extent the war has completely broken away from the control of the Poles and is no longer something that can be cured by swearing or human resources.

"His Excellency President, we all know that progress is very slow, but this is determined by objective factors. The Jews are too tenacious and we have tried every means to make them surrender. Even if you come to command yourself, the result will not be better!"

When Bissuski received a call from the front line commander, his nose was pissed and he was ready to remove these incompetent and arrogant wastes, but a woman stopped him.

"His Excellency the President, according to the intelligence obtained by our country's intelligence system, the Jewish attempts are probably not as simple as you expected!"

Bissuski didn't like Learvin very much. He felt very unhappy with the pride of this woman, but the British government represented by Learvin was something he could not afford. So he could only try his best to hide his disgust.

"What has your country discovered?" Bisuski asked patiently.

Bisuski didn't like Learvin, and Liarvin didn't like Bisuski either. This man gave her the feeling of a beast, and that kind of bare power was like a stench that made her unable to breathe.

"According to various signs on the battlefield, the real attempt of the Jews does not seem to be to capture Warsaw!"

Bisusky was a little surprised and even wondered if something was wrong with his ears. The Jews led a 100,000 army to the city of Warsaw with a fierce force and destroyed two blocks of Warsaw. Could it be that they were just showing off their power? Idiots would not do such stupid things, okay?

"What about?" Bisuski asked coldly, patiently.

"First of all, it has been two days since we arrived in Warsaw, but the Jews have never invested their troops to directly attack the Warsaw city."

Before Lilwin finished speaking, Bisuski interrupted her: "What does this mean? Isn't it necessary to prepare for attacking a large city with a population of millions?"

Learvin ignored Pisusky's questioning and instead gave himself a second reason: "According to our reconnaissance, the activities of the Jewish army outside Warsaw were not active..."

Bisuski sneered and interrupted, "That's them resting!"

"There is this possibility," Learvin shrugged and stood up and said a final reason: "But, in other aspects, especially in the direction of Vovomim, the Jews are very active. Do you think this is normal?" (To be continued...)
