441 The Big Fool

Svoboda never thought that one day he would be able to return to his hometown safely - Troz Nietin, a small town near the Morava River.

Compared to when he was forced to enlist in the army a few years ago, the small town has basically not changed much. Apart from being more desolate and bleak, things change and endless sighs, there is no other feeling.

As a minority group under the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Czechs and Slovaks had a low social status. Most Czechoslovaks were unwilling to work hard for the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and were passively lazy and fleeing from the army. According to the requirements of the Communist International, Svoboda shouldered the burden of promoting communism in his hometown, advocating national autonomy and the proletarian revolutionary movement.

Don't be surprised. After a period of contact with the Bolsheviks, Svoboda was deeply attracted by this passionate poor group. He resolutely chose to join the Red Army to attack the White Army and his former compatriots.

Because he showed great courage and high awareness on the battlefield, he was attracted to join the Bolsheviks. After entering 1919, with the Trotskyist theory of the World Revolution, he developed organizations within the German and Austrian Group, and carrying out revolutionary work became the top priority.

A large number of foreign Communists secretly sneaked back to the country in accordance with the instructions of the Communist International, among which was Svoboda who performed very well. Of course, there was also a more famous man named Tito who was more famous than Svoboda. But what we are going to tell now is the story of Svoboda, so let's put Tito aside first.

Holding the fake documents created by Li Xiaofeng, Svoboda sneaked back to his hometown with a few like-minded friends. However, it was much more difficult to spread communism in Czechoslovakia and develop the armed forces of the proletariat than imagined.

The reason is very simple. Although Czechoslovakia has a tradition of resisting the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the degree of this kind of resistance is relatively low in the first place. Without World War One, the resistance of the Czechoslovaks would have to be called scratching the surface and could not be raised at all.

Secondly, Marxism is not the mainstream force in Czechoslovakia. Most Czechoslovaks believe in Masarik and are more willing to join Masarik to lead the Czechoslovak National Committee.

Anyway, Svoboda's work in his hometown was not satisfactory. After half a year of hard work, there were only a few hundred people who developed it. On the contrary, with the Austro-Hungarian Empire's surrender, the working class in Hungary was quite fierce. Its momentum was much more powerful than those of the German working class.

Sometimes Swoboda felt ashamed of his trust in the Communist International, and such work performance made him blush. According to the convention, it was time to make a work report again. Looking at the telegraph machine in front of him, Swoboda was a little stupid. In the morning, two more "activists" chose to leave his team. Compared with the same period last month, the size of the "ethnic group" not only did not expand, but also shrank a lot. This really made it difficult for him to speak of.

However, even if it is difficult to talk about, Svoboda could only bite the bullet and contact the superior party committee. This is his work and responsibility, and a qualified Bolshevik cannot escape responsibility!

Just when Swoboda was about to admit his mistake to the superior party committee and begs his superiors to send a more suitable person to take over his job, an unexpected situation happened. Before he could even make self-criticism, he received new instructions from his superiors.

"Go to the Prague Party Committee Headquarters immediately."

Svoboda was a little puzzled, and this order came a bit strange. He only said that he would go to the headquarters of the Prague Party Committee immediately, but did not say why. For the Czechoslovak Communist Party, which was active underground, this order was unreasonable no matter how you look at it!

However, no matter how Swoboda's side note or questioned it, the top was full of water, and the orders had to be implemented immediately without any doubt. There was no way, Swoboda went to Prague with great concern, but he did not go to the party committee to meet up with him directly, but after careful makeup preparation, he went to the party committee to observe the situation.

After observing for a whole day, Svoboda did not show up until he found out that everything was normal in the party committee, which made his old friend Gothwald quite dissatisfied.

"Ludwick, what the hell are you doing? Didn't I ask you to come to Prague right away?"

Speaking of which, Gothwald's experience was similar to Svoboda. He was forced to join the army and fled the Austro-Hungarian army halfway. The only difference was that he contacted the Bolsheviks earlier and was more influenced by the Bolsheviks, and soon joined the Red Army. Naturally, this achievement was no worse than that of Svoboda later. He served as a member of the Central Committee of the Czechoslovak Communist Party, a member of the Politburo, an executive member of the Communist International and the General Secretary of the Czech Republic. He was also the first deputy prime minister of Czechoslovakia in 1945, and served as prime minister in 1946, and later as president of Czechoslovakia.

Regarding the old friend's questioning, Svoboda could only smile bitterly: "Your order is too sudden and too unreasonable. I suspect it is a fraud, so..."

"That's why you've been walking outside the gate for a day before you walk in!" Gothwald said angrily.

"You know?!" Svoboda was surprised.

Yes, Svoboda still has some confidence in his makeup level. He thought he could hide it from the eyes of the minions of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Who would have thought that even Gothwald could see through it? To be honest, this hit him a lot. The poor guy couldn't help but think: "Is there really a problem with my ability and I'm really nothing?"

"I didn't find it, but Comrade Andre discovered it!" Gothwald continued to say unhappy.

"Comrade Andre?" Swoboda opened his eyes incredibly.

For Svoboda, the most important person who introduced him into the revolutionary path was a certain immortal. If he had not been a certain immortal, he would have died in Ukraine, and if he had not been a certain immortal, he would not have been able to return to his hometown again. After leaving Russia, he thought that he would not have been able to see Comrade Andre, who had recreated his kindness to him for a long time.

Now Gothwald suddenly said that someone was in Prague, just in the party committee, and he was surprised and excited. He grabbed Gothwald and asked repeatedly: "Is it Comrade Andre Petrovic?"

Gothwald broke free from his hand in anger and asked back, "Who else can it be except Comrade Andre Petrovic?"

Swoboda said happily: "Hurry... take me to see him!"

Gothwald laughed and said, "Why, I'm so anxious, this is what you asked for, who made you stand guard at the door by yourself!"

Svoboda said angrily: "Who told you not to explain the situation? You inform me earlier that Comrade Andre is here. I'm here without flying. How could this happen?"

Gothwald put away his joking tone and said seriously: "Old friend, Comrade Andre is very sensitive. How can I reveal his whereabouts on the telegram? If the enemy notices it, the consequences will be unimaginable!"

This time Svoboda nodded heavily and agreed: "You did a very right job. It seems that the superior asked you to preside over the work in Czechoslovakia! It's much better than me!"

Gothwald naturally saw that Svoboda's mood was not very high, and as the head of the Czechoslovak Communist Party, he also knew the difficulties Svoboda faced. In fact, Svoboda's difficulties were common throughout Czechoslovakia, and the work was not easy to carry out, including him. However, the situation in Svoboda was even more serious.

Gothwald hugged Svoboda and comforted him: "Old friend. Don't be discouraged, and don't be anxious. Everything is difficult at the beginning, just overcome this hurdle! The important thing is to persevere and work hard, I believe in you!"

Svoboda's new and warmth nodded again. He vowed that he would never let down the trust of the Communist International and Gothwald, and he must do a good job and do his own personal example!

Li Xiaofeng didn't know Svoboda's current situation. He only knew that Svoboda later was a figure, so he invested a little in advance. As for whether this person was not worthy of his name, he didn't worry too much. Moreover, it was not his turn to worry about it. This is something that the Czechoslovak Communist Party and the Communist International need to worry about. If he hadn't used Czechoslovakia this time, he might have forgotten Svoboda.

When Svoboda walked into the conference room, Li Xiaofeng was listening to the work reports of the party secretary of various regions of Czechoslovakia. He said in his heart that a fairy was the most impatient to listen to the reports and reports. But he came over under the banner of the Communist International. If he ignored the work of Czechoslovak comrades, it would be too disappointing. No matter how he said that he had to pretend to behave and leave a good impression on the Czechoslovaks, it was not, after all, he would rely on these people to help him later.

Therefore, Li Xiaofeng's attitude was quite good, which made the comrades in Czechoslovakia feel the care of the Communist International and the warmth of the comrades. In particular, a certain immortal not only inspects and inspects, but also solves some practical difficulties, such as shortage of funds.

This is a timely rain for the Czechoslovak Communist Party, which has just opened and has been living a tight life. Whether it is someone who has dealt with a certain immortal or who has never known him before, they all agree that Comrade Andre is a good comrade!

"Ludwick, you are finally willing to come in!" When a fairy glanced at Svoboda's figure, she laughed generously and joked: "I feel very relieved to have you standing guard outside and keep watch!"

Swoboda turned red. Just as he was about to explain a few words, a fairy stood up and shook his hand heavily, and said enthusiastically: "I heard before that you have made many great achievements on the battlefield and made outstanding contributions to the revolution... Others said that I have the eyesight, but I knew in my heart that this is a lucky person. If you save someone casually, you will become a great hero of the revolution. The greater your contributions in the future, the more brilliant my face will be!"

These words made Svoboda feel even more embarrassed. He was about to criticize himself, but a certain immortal did not give him a chance to speak: "Comrade Svoboda has arrived, and all the main leaders of the Czechoslovak Party organization have been here. I have listened to everyone's work reports before, and I am sincerely pleased with everyone's achievements. On behalf of the Communist International, I hope that everyone will continue to work hard in the future and strive to achieve victory in the Czechoslovak Revolution as soon as possible!"

After a little pause, he continued: "But this time I came not only to check everyone's work performance, but more importantly, there is a very difficult task to hand over to everyone. Comrade Clement Gothwald. Don't make records. This is a confidentiality. You cannot leak it or leave any written records!"

Gothwald quickly stopped writing, Li Xiaofeng nodded, and then continued: "You may have heard of the situation in Konesburg and East Prussia. The Jewish minorities there could not bear the oppression of German imperialism. They resolutely took up weapons to defend their power. Under their leadership, the revolutionary situation in East Prussia and Poland changed, which gave the imperialists a heavy blow!"

Li Xiaofeng looked at the expressions of everyone again. Gothwald and others were either a little confused or confused, but Svoboda showed a thoughtful expression.

"But these imperialists were unwilling to fail. In order to strangle the revolution, they could use any despicable means. Under their indulgence and instigation, the Polish puppet reactionary government led by Pisusky still kidnapped innocent Jewish civilians to bargain with us and prepare to stifle the uprising of the Jews and the East Prussian people."

After a little pause, Li Xiaofeng continued: "As the Bolsheviks, it is our glorious mission to help the oppressed people of the world stand up again. To help them live with dignity. In order to rescue those innocent Jewish civilians, I urgently need the help of everyone!"

Li Xiaofeng's words were quite beautiful, with causes and consequences, and it also clarified the meaning of them, and indirectly raised them. For these Czechoslovak rookies, this was undoubtedly the best motivation, and they immediately started to shout:

"Comrade Andre, just say, what do we need to do? We Czechoslovakians are not afraid of it!"

"Yes, we have no choice but to do so for all the oppressed nations in the world!"

"Comrade Andre, just give orders! We can't wait!"

Li Xiaofeng had to suppress his hand, "Comrades, I am very moved to see that you have such an internationalist spirit. You are right. The proletariat in the world is a family, and it is our unshirkable responsibility to help those oppressed friends and relatives! On behalf of the Communist International, I sincerely thank the Czechoslovak Communist Party and everyone. It is you who have allowed us to see the greatest and touching side of the internationalist spirit, and it is you who have allowed me to see the bright prospects of the revolution! I believe that history and the oppressed people in the world will never forget everyone's achievements! You will be remembered forever!"

The high hats after hat made the leaders of the Czechoslovak Communist Party so beautiful that they couldn't find the north. Not to mention the swords and seas of fire, they dared to break through even if there was hell in front of him!

Li Xiaofeng is also very satisfied with the effect he has created. For these young communist rookies, high-standard motivational words are more effective than injecting chicken blood. As long as they can make them fly and make their willing hands give their orders, it is a piece of cake!

Of course, after the encouragement is completed, Li Xiaofeng must also get to the point, otherwise the time will be delayed and after the momentum is over, these guys will not be so easy to fool.

"Our mission is to rescue the oppressed Jewish civilians safely from the clutches of the Poles!"

"How to save it?" Swoboda was the first to ask.

Li Xiaofeng looked at him and smiled and said, "According to the information we have, these poor Jews were detained by the Polish devil in the town of Auschwitz on the outskirts of Krakow... Three large concentration camps were set up around this town, enslaving more than 10,000 Jews. Our mission is to cross the border and rescue these Jews safely!"

Swoboda was a little stunned. He was praised by a certain immortal before, but he did not completely lose his mind. Now his reason tells him that this is a very deadly action. Not only does it have to cross the border, but it also needs to rescue tens of thousands of people. How easy is it?

Just as Svoboda was about to speak, Li Xiaofeng spoke again: "I know that this operation faces many difficulties and that this operation is quite dangerous, but I think that only you, only the Bolshevik comrades in Czechoslovakia, can complete this glorious and arduous task!"

This high hat temporarily stabilized the hearts of the Czechoslovaks, preventing them from immediately retreating. However, just talking nonsense is not enough. After all, painting cakes cannot satisfy their hunger, right?

So Li Xiaofeng also had to give some practical information: "Of course, the Communist International has fully considered the risks of the mission and your current difficulties. We will provide assistance in all aspects that we can to ensure that the mission can be completed smoothly and successfully!"

These words made many Czechoslovak Communist leaders here breathe a sigh of relief. Although they said it beautifully just now, they were still cheering up. Now Comrade Andre can sympathize with their situation and reduce the difficulty for them, which makes them feel more at ease.

Svoboda was a little stronger than his compatriots, and he asked, "What kind of aid will the Communist International give us?"

Li Xiaofeng smiled and replied: "In terms of funds and weapons, the Communist International will fully support you. It not only ensures the smooth execution of the mission, but also ensures that you have the strength to protect yourself so that the Czechoslovakia war of independence and revolutionary wars will be carried out at the right time in the future!"

This remark immediately took the Czechoslovakians' thinking aside, and their attention was all focused on the words of independence and revolutionary war, completely ignoring the dangerous task... (To be continued...)
