363 Innocent people

While the Bolsheviks were paying attention to the battle in Chagan Oman and were worried about the Don River Mixed Brigade, Li Xiaofeng welcomed a group of special guests at his residence in Vyborg - representatives of the Zionist organization.

Israel's two future giants, future President Weizmann and future Prime Minister Ben Gurion, plus future Foreign Minister Moses Charit.

The purpose of the Jewish visit is very simple. Someone proposed a new solution to the problem of Russian Jews. The two giants cannot remain indifferent and must respond.

However, this kind of reaction may not be good. For example, Weizmann, known as the founding father of Israel, was not very interested in the plan to establish a Jewish state in Poland, or was very dissatisfied.

The reason is very simple. First of all, Weizmann was once a Russian. His teenage years were spent in Russia. Like other Jews living in Russia, Weizmann's childhood was not a good memory, and poverty almost represented everything. If Weizmann's visionary father had not insisted on letting him go to school, Weizmann would have been just a lumberjack.

Of course, compared with poverty, Weizmann hated Russia even more. The strong anti-Semitism trend in the Tsarist era, where Jews were persecuted, driven away, and deprived of the opportunity to receive education. For example, Weizmann was admitted to a Russian university back then, but Jewish admissions were restricted. He was angry at this discrimination and simply went out of Russia to study in Germany.

Weizmann became a famous chemist in Germany, and then he chose to settle in Britain. During World War I, he tried his best to serve the British government and solved many practical problems in the field of chemistry, especially explosives, and thus gained the attention of the British.

However, compared with his academic success, Weizmann attached more importance to politics. He joined the Zion organization led by Herz very early, and after Herz's death, he became the most important leader of the organization.

In 1914, Weizmann passed a lot of efforts and finally established the Jewish "British Palestine Committee" in the UK, which announced that it would seek to establish a brand new British Jewish domination in Palestine.

After more than three years of hard work, Weizmann finally allowed the British to pass the "Belfort Declaration" through his influence. This was a huge victory for him back then. He vaguely saw the possibility of the Jews returning to Palestine, returning to their hometown and re-establishing the country.

In this mood, Weizmann was naturally not very interested in Russia's olive branch. In his opinion, since he had already embraced the thick legs of the British, why bother with the chaotic Russians? What's more, his feelings for the Russians were really not very good. If Pavel hadn't worked repeatedly, he wouldn't have come to Vyborg at all.

"Mr. Sbelosky," Weizmann said, "I came to meet you at the risk because Pavel said you were determined to improve the survival of Russian Jews. But this does not mean that I agree or appreciate your plan. In my opinion, your plan is full of whimsical and unrealistic!"

Li Xiaofeng didn't like Weizman's old-fashioned tone. This guy seemed to be talking to his son, as if their status was completely unequal.

Of course, Li Xiaofeng agreed that the two had completely unequal status because he was several orders of magnitude higher than the old guy, and he could be considered as the Russian leadership. And Weizmann was nothing.

Li Xiaofeng glanced at Pavel next to him, and the meaning was very clear - what kind of second-tier patient were you looking for to negotiate with me, or did you drink too much or take gun medicine?

However, Weizmann did not notice Li Xiaofeng's unhappiness, or he didn't care about Li Xiaofeng's unhappiness at all. He said to himself: "I think only Russia first effectively improves the living conditions of Jews, must abolish the policies of ethnic discrimination, and must allow Jews to have full autonomy..."

This is no longer a secondary disease, it is simply a devil. Li Xiaofeng instantly lost interest in continuing to talk to Weizmann. Who do you think you are? Why should you give orders here?

Li Xiaofeng stood up, ignored Weizmann, and said to Pavel bluntly: "Why did you bring a lunatic to see me?"

You're very polite. It's very slapping in the face, but it's very effective! Weizmann and the other two changed their faces immediately, with surprise in their anger.

"Mr. Sbelosky, you are insulting and discriminating against us!" Ben Gurion and Charitre immediately protested, and as for Weizmann, he was so angry that he couldn't speak.

Li Xiaofeng curled his lips and said disdainfully: "You think it's an insult or discrimination, that's fine. It seems that the British are so polite to you!"

This is not just a blatant slap in the face, it is simply a slap. How smart and skillful the politicians of the British Empire are, the "Belford Manifesto" is just a means of playing political balance. The purpose is nothing more than to warn the increasingly restless Arabs in the Middle East - you'd better be restrained and whine and be honest, so I'll let the Jews go back and beat you up.

To put it bluntly, this is the means by which the British controlled the colonies when their national strength declined. They played a lot of this method. India, Pakistan, Israel, and Palestine. After the British withdraw from the colonies and allow the colonies to be independent, they deliberately left a little contradiction to facilitate their indirect control of these areas.

For the British, Israel is just a stone that beats the Arabs, and of course Israel is just a stone. He will never allow the stone to escape from his control. So even if it passes the "Belford Declaration", Israel's plan to return home is implemented stutteringly.

When they were happy, the British let go of some quotas, and when they were unhappy, they strictly blocked the quotas. Weizmann thought that Britain would allow the Israelites to return to their homes and that they could establish the Israeli Dominion. It has to be said that this was more like a dream.

The situation was not very obvious during the First Middle East War. Where did the British stand on the side? On the side of the oil boss. What kind of friendship, justice, and agreement are not enough to see in the face of national interests!

Naive Weizmann placed all his hopes on the British, but from the end of World War I to the outbreak of World War II, the Jewish restoration movement was almost in a state of stalemate. When the Nazis were persecuting the Jews in a crazily manner, did the British government take practical actions to fulfill its promises?

There is nothing. For the British Empire, the Germans slaughtered Jews, so they should kill them. Anyway, there are more Jews who have been massacred for the past two thousand years. I don’t care about these ones or two, but the serious ones are the disaster. Indulge the Germans and let them die with the Maomao Bear!

This is politics. He never cared about means, friendship, commitments and agreements, only pure interests. But now, Weizmann doesn't understand what political interests are. He is very naive and influenced by his personal emotions. He is very angry about Russia. He has a good impression of Britain, but he subconsciously doesn't care about a certain immortal.

But a certain immortal is too lazy to miss him. The reason why this guy was just a president who was a nominal retirement after the founding of Israel was Ben Gurion, which is not without reason. Because this guy is far behind in political vision and political means.

The first meeting ended in a bad mood, but a certain immortal didn't care at all. No matter how good your attitude is and how much you spend, it would be empty. It would be better to give him a blow to let him know who has the right to speak.

That night, Pavel once again arrived at the residence of a certain immortal, and the old man seemed very worried. "Your Excellency, if you cannot reach an agreement with the Zion organization, our subsequent plan will not be implemented at all... Mr. Weizmann enjoys extraordinary reputation among the Jews all over the world. As long as he raises his arms, millions of Jews will respond..."

Li Xiaofeng looked up and looked at the old man, but this glance made the old man swallow all the words he wanted to say. It was not that someone's eyes were fierce and fierce, but in fact, there was a lot of ridicule and ridicule in someone's eyes.

After a long time, a fairy sarcastically said, "You don't need to memorize the book. These nonsense are useless to me. Do you think that saying these in an exaggerated tone can make me look up to that idiot and you? Your little trick is simply a joke... If the plan cannot be implemented, then it will be stranded. Anyway, there will be no loss for me. It may be easy to kill all the Russian Jews directly..."

Pavel swallowed and heard a strong sense of threat. Perhaps someone else said to kill the Russian Jews in front of him, and he would only listen to jokes and crazy words. But if someone speaks like this, it may not be a threat. If someone angers someone, he can do anything that is both angered by God.

The old man quickly said, "I didn't mean that! What I mean is that since it is a talks, we should focus on tolerance and understanding..."

Li Xiaofeng interrupted him again: "Tolerance and understanding are not unilateral. At least I can't see any tolerance and understanding from Mr. Weizmann!"

"Well……"

Pavel was actually in a dilemma and wanted to complain. He personally thought this time was indeed a good opportunity. Although the Jews kept shouting to return to Palestine and return home, the difficulty was not only great. Palestine was not only eyeing Arabs, but also belonging to the British Empire now. Will it be a simple thing to cut off the British Empire?

What's more, Pavel, who has a certain political experience, could feel that the attitude of the British was ambiguous. In his understanding, it was more like the British were using tricks. So he was more inclined to the plan of a certain immortal. At least a certain immortal had given specific plans and implementation methods, while the British were just saying the declaration and did not mention the specific implementation methods at all.

The problem now is that Weizmann trusts the British too much. He paranoidly believes that the Russians are unreliable, and that the only object that Israel can rely on is the British Empire.

If we could hold the British's thick thighs, Pavel also wanted to hold them, but now it is really different from the past. The British's thighs are shrinking. The former empire that the sun never sets is becoming increasingly unsatisfied with the storm brewing in the colonies. Especially the outbreak of World War I made many promises to the Arabs, in order to make the Arabs silly camels bleed and work hard for the British Empire.

Just imagine, the Arabs used their lives to help the British fight against the Turks, but they were not sincerely relaxed. What did the Jews do? What contribution did the Jews make to the British Empire? Why should the British be extra merciful to a nation that has no contribution?

Pavel was also dissatisfied with the naive Weizmann, but everyone was working hard for one purpose, and Weizmann had achieved certain results through his personal efforts (Belford Declaration). In this case, he could only maintain unity with Weizmann and be united to the outside world first!

That's why the old man came to visit late at night and talked about Weizmann's so-called influence in front of a certain immortal. To put it bluntly, his purpose was to put pressure on him. However, what he didn't expect was that a certain immortal was always soft but not hard. Especially just now, he had just faced the suppression of his mentor and Trotsky and won a hard-won victory.

Li Xiaofeng is so arrogant now! Even Lenin and Trotsky had to make some concessions in front of him. Which one is Weizmann, or a mere Jew? When the beard came on stage, he abused you Jews so bad that they were not as good as dogs. He was sent to the concentration camp in groups to "humane destruction". Why didn't you be awesome at that time? Don't fight. Now, it's good that you've been shaking in front of this immortal. It seems that you are bullying the weak and afraid of the strong, and you are not punishing the wine to toast!

Li Xiaofeng has never been a good-tempered person. Faced with the "provocation" of the Jews, he chose to fight back and beat the fallen dog. If Pavel did not come tonight, or the old man's tone was a little more violent when he came, he would immediately make the Jews happy. Whether it was during the dark tsarist rule or in the bright Bolshevik era, there was a market. Don't you see Budunny and his Cossacks, you are happily harvesting the heads of the Jews!

If it weren't for the erratic Babel who recorded the glorious deeds of Budonni and Voroshilov in his book "Cavalent Army" and won the praise of Gorky, the literary "master" of Gorky. Who cares about the life and death of the Jews?

Anyway, Li Xiaofeng doesn't care. Pavel now knows that someone really doesn't take them seriously, so during negotiations, don't tease a certain immortal's tiger beard and don't commit suicide.

"I firmly oppose surrendering to the barbaric and cold Russians!" Weizmann's emotions were still excited. "For thousands of years, the Russians' attitude towards us has never changed, and they have always been consistent. Cooperating with this barbaric race is equivalent to seeking a skin to the tiger. I firmly demand to dispel this unrealistic idea. In our future in a clear society, only those civilized people care about the suffering we have suffered for thousands of years, and will sympathize with and help us!"

Weizmann became more and more excited as he began to dance: "And now we have a good start, and the Belford Declaration fully illustrates the attitude of Britain. We should cooperate with the British and continue unswervingly along this route, so that we can return to our hometown!"

Pavel didn't speak, and Ben Gurion didn't speak. As for Charitt, he was not qualified to interrupt for the time being.

After a long time, Ben Gurion suddenly said: "But the solution proposed by the Russians this time is indeed good. If we can obtain a piece of land that belongs to us in Poland, we can rule ourselves or establish a country..."

Before he finished speaking, Weizmann interrupted impolitely: "Poland is not our hometown, our home is Palestine! And how can you naively think that Russians have sincerity? Have you forgotten how the Russians persecuted our compatriots over the past few decades?"

After a pause, Weizmann emphasized: "The Russians are just using short-selling promises to coax us, and what they like is still the coins in our pockets! We can't be fooled anymore!"

Ben Gurion was a little disdainful of this. If the Russians' promise was a short seller, the British would not even have a short seller's promise. Yes, the Russians might have taken a fancy to the money in their pockets. Isn't that the British Empire the same? Is there any difference?

In fact, Ben Gurion knew very well what was the fundamental reason why Weizmann opposed cooperation with the Russians. The British government had warned him and ordered him not to cooperate with the Bolshevik Russia, otherwise it would hurt the traditional friendship between the British government and the Jewish nation. Weizmann was reluctant to leave the British thigh, so he tried his best to oppose the cooperation plan with Russia.

After a quarrel, the four people fell into silence. At this moment, Pavel, who had not spoken much, suddenly stood up: "The Russians are indeed unreliable. We have countless blood debts with the Russians. Cooperating with the Russians is likely to anger the British... But I don't know when the British will allow us to return to Palestine, nor do I know if they will have friction with the Arabs after returning to Palestine... I just want to say that for me, to those compatriots who still live in Russia, these have no meaning!"

Pavel waved his arm hard: "What I know is that the situation in Russia is getting worse day by day. I only know that my compatriots in Russia are bleeding and crying every day! If there is a person, a group, and a country that can save them from this hell, then we must cooperate with them. Even if they were our enemies, even if their credibility was bad, and even if some stronger forces disliked them, this is not worth mentioning compared to the lives and well-being of our suffering and suffering compatriots!"

Speaking of this, Pavel took a deep breath and said emotionally: "If the British could save our compatriots now, I would cooperate with them. If they could not do it, I could only choose to cooperate with the Bolsheviks who could save their compatriots!"
