276 Tune the tiger away from the mountain

Two breakwaters guard the Sevastopol Gulf like extended arms. On the stair-shaped slope along the bay, a great city stands there, and she is Sevastopol.

As the most important base of the Black Sea Fleet, there is no need to say much about the military significance of Sevastopol. Fortresses and trenches can be seen everywhere on the coast, and even the entire city itself is a huge maze.

When Li Xiaofeng arrived in Sevastopol, his first impression was that the city was complicated and complicated, as if he had artificially made the municipal construction go hand in hand. In fact, his impression was not wrong. Sevastopol was deliberately designed like this. It can be said that the city itself is a huge military fortress, and any enemy who wants to capture it must pay a heavy price.

The defense of Sevastopol in World War II also confirmed this. In Sevastopol, the Soviet Red Army and local military and civilians fought fiercely with the Nazis for 250 days, turning to Novorossiysk for the Black Sea Fleet, restraining a large number of German troops for the land battlefield, and reducing the pressure in the direction of the Caucasus and Stalingrad.

Historically, in 1918, Sevastopol was a tragedy. In this year, it was successively occupied by the Germans, the British-French-Greek coalition forces and the White Army, and did not return to the hands of the Red Army until 1920.

Of course, because of the appearance of Li Xiaofeng, such a tragedy may not be necessary, but this does not mean that a certain immortal is very relaxed now.

In fact, Li Xiaofeng was not in a good mood. After saving Swoboda's life for no reason, he found that the problem of the Black Sea Fleet was more serious than he thought. The enemy's conspiracy was probably going to be at the last moment. If they could not be stopped, the consequences would be unimaginable!

At that time, he hurriedly rushed to Sevastopol, preparing to stop their conspiracy before the enemy started. However, after entering Sevastopol, he was shocked to find that the situation was not the case at all.

After the city-wide search, there was no sign of Nikola and Constantine's activity. Even if they posted their photos all over the city, it was meaningless. It seemed that these two people had never been to Sevastopol at all.

This made Li Xiaofeng a little puzzled. According to Svoboda's explanation, the two men's destination was Sevastopol. And from their killing and silence, they seemed to want to cover up the traces of their activities, and it was very likely that they were doing the final work for the subsequent plan.

No matter how you look at it, they should be in Sevastopol, but why can't they be found?

Li Xiaofeng also thought that Sevastopol's local Cheka was too incompetent, but asking Boris to mobilize his old subordinates to help find someone to find someone was nothing. This situation seemed too strange!

"Are you sure their destination is Sevastopol?" Li Xiaofeng asked Svoboda again.

"I can guarantee that their destination is here!" Swoboda promised confidently.

Li Xiaofeng said with some annoyance: "But there is no trace of them at all!"

Svoboda stopped talking because he didn't know what to say. To put it bluntly, he was just a bodyguard. From beginning to end, he only knew that the two bastards were going to Sevastopol. As for why they went and what they wanted to do after they went, they knew nothing.

"Didn't you find any clues along the way?" Li Xiaofeng asked unwillingly.

Swoboda sighed and said, "I just followed along the way. And I told you that I offended Constantine and was forced to escape. Think about it, in this case, those two bastards would be unaware of me! I hate it. I shouldn't have escaped at that time. I should fight with them. Even if I die, I will not implicate other brothers..."

Li Xiaofeng was a little impatient. He hated big men for having a younger daughter the most. Things have happened. Is it useless to cry? I have the ability to shed tears. Why not think more about how to take revenge and cry!

At that time, his tone was not so good: "Why are you crying? From the beginning, you were looking for death. You obviously have no ability, but you like to be heroic. Do you think you Czechs helped the White Army rebell, and you can be superior to others? It's a joke. From beginning to end, you soldiers are poor people who are used, and they are poor people who have no brains at all!"

Svoboda was definitely not a good-tempered person. If he had a good temper and could swallow his anger, he would not have messed with Constantine at that time, and he would have made a big mistake. What's more, he was disliked by the Bolsheviks and suddenly broke out: "Pity? Even if we were pitiful, it was caused by your Bolsheviks. If you hadn't surrendered to the Germans, and if you hadn't withdrawn from the war, would all this happen?"

Li Xiaofeng just sneered: "You are so childish. What do you know? Do you think that if we, the Bolsheviks, will you Czechs live independently, freely, happily and happily? Fool, please think carefully with your brain. After the defeat of the German and Austrian group, the forces of Eastern Europe and Central Europe will be reshuffled. In order to punish Germany and Austria-Hungary, they will inevitably be dismembered! It is the turn to defeat the national score cake."

He paused for a moment and continued: "If Russia did not withdraw from the war, it would have to divide this cake. In order to compensate Russia for the losses of war, it would be inevitable that we would have to share some benefits for the Central and European cake. At that time, how much benefits did you think you Czechs can get? And you, who have just been independent, will first face the pressure of the giant Tsarist Russia. I am afraid that at that time, you would have to resist the tiger and the back door to welcome the wolf. Even if the British and French give you some small profits, you will be in the crack of the confrontation of new interest groups in the future. How much freedom can you have?"

Svoboda was dissatisfied and said angrily: "Masarik told us that the Allies will satisfy us..."

"Okay, okay!" Li Xiaofeng waved his hand contemptuously, "If you don't give you a little blank check, will you make a desperate effort to work for them? I don't know how much nonsense I've heard. Britain made promises to the Arabs and Indians in order to win this war. Let's ride a donkey and read the songbook and see if they will meet the promise!"

Li Xiaofeng did not tell any lies on this point. The British really spared all their money in order to win this world war. They promised many benefits to the poor people in the colonies and lured them to work hard for the interests of the British Empire. The Arabs were deceived the most. The camels helped the British to kill Turkey. However, as soon as the Paris Peace Conference opened, they still stood aside. For example, the famous Arab Lawrence. After the war, even that guy couldn't stand the motherland's way of saying a set of two-faced and three-faced techniques.

And to be honest, in a sense, the small countries in China and Europe were developed by the two major gangsters of Britain and France to balance the post-war international order. On the one hand, they dismembered the defeated countries, and on the other hand, they were actually building walls. The countries on the line of China and Eastern Europe became the buffer zone between them and the Soviet Union. To put it bluntly, they created a group of cannon fodder that could be sacrificed.

It can also be seen from the process of World War II that whether it was Chamberlain and Daraday, they abandoned the allies in the World War without hesitation and sold them to the group of goods casually. That was a neat thing. What does this mean? It means that these groups of goods can naturally be sacrificed.

Anyway, the Czechs should have a very profound experience. The country was destroyed without a shot, and they had to help count money when they were sold. This is probably the common ending of all democratic elites. After they have no value, they will be abandoned mercilessly.

Of course, these are a bit too far. In short, the collapse of the Tsarist Russian Empire gave the oppressed nations in Central and Eastern Europe the opportunity to win independence. In other words, if Russia did not withdraw from the war, if the Russians also stood at the Paris Peace Conference, then the interests of small countries in Central and Eastern Europe would inevitably be damaged. After all, the Russians are not living Lei Feng, and the spoils will never go in vain.

Unfortunately, Svoboda in this era did not have much political vision, but in fact, this man would not have any political vision in the next few decades. As Li Xiaofeng said, he was a poor person who was exploited from beginning to end.

During World War I, he was used by Masarik and a group of public intellectuals. He acted as cannon fodder for interfering in Russia's internal affairs. After the victory of World War II, he was used by the Soviets and achieved the purpose of subverting the Czech regime. After using it, he was ruthlessly discarded by the Soviet Union. From a historical perspective, this guy is really a pitiful person.

"No matter what you say, I won't believe it!" Swoboda shouted stubbornly.

Li Xiaofeng shrugged his shoulders and said indifferently: "It doesn't matter if you don't believe it anyway, and I'm not interested in spending that effort. Now, I just ask you to recall all the details worthy of attention. For the solution to Nikola and Constantine, I think we should be consistent, right?"

Swoboda stopped talking. Although he disliked someone's style and way of speaking, he must admit that they were indeed consistent on this point. But he could not remember any clues worth noting...

"Okay!" Boris interrupted, "Don't force this kid, there are some things that can't be rushed. He is also a wounded man. Give him some time to recover and rest. Maybe he will remember it with a flash of inspiration?"

Li Xiaofeng had no hope for this. He felt that Svoboda had already said everything he knew. In more realistic terms, he would have no value for exploitation. He had no good feelings for the Czech Legion that led the rebellion. He would have to raise a hairy wound and just throw it to the concentration camp for labor reform.

However, he has to sell Boris' face a little bit. After all, he still has to rely on this old man. It can be seen that the old man is a person who values feelings. If he doesn't want to have a quarrel with him, he should do it according to his wishes.

However, according to Boris's meaning, it does not mean that Li Xiaofeng is really just waiting, so he will not put his hope on Svoboda's unreliable memories. His style is to take the initiative. If there are no traces of Nicholas and Constantine in Savastopol, then there may be three situations.

The first one is what I said earlier. Svoboda lies or remembers it wrong. However, in Li Xiaofeng's opinion, this possibility is very small. Svoboda can smell the hatred of those two people with his nose. He has no reason to help his enemies. As for remembering it wrong, Li Xiaofeng does not think that Svoboda is a kind of character of Ma Daha. He should not remember such a crucial clue.

If there is a problem with Svoboda, then there is a second possibility, that is, Nicholas and Constantine lie actively to cover up their real goals. However, Li Xiaofeng thinks this possibility is not great. If these two people really plan to cause trouble in the Black Sea Fleet, then there are only two locations that are most likely.

One is Odessa and the other is Savastopol. Because the main force of the Black Sea Fleet is basically anchored in these two ports. Apart from this, Nikolayev and Novorossiysk are not as important as these two ports, and they cannot cause too much storm.

Li Xiaofeng has been to Odessa, and the person in charge there is still relatively reliable. Moreover, because the number of warships parked is small, the problem is not as big as Savastopol. Anyway, if he had the choice, he would not have done any damage in Odessa.

There is only one Sevastopol left, but there is no clue yet. This makes Li Xiaofeng unable to understand, and he even extends the third possibility - have the two goods not arrived in Sevastopol yet?

This possibility is not without. After learning about the relevant situation from Svoboda, he rushed to Sevastopol and did not even stop in Simferopol. As the capital of Crimea, Simferopol also has considerable political significance. It is very likely that the two people were active in Simferopol first and have not yet gone south yet!

Thinking of this, Li Xiaofeng immediately called a messenger and ordered the portraits of Nikola and Constantine to be sent to Simferopol immediately, and the Cheka there was to start a search for the whole city to see if the two guys could be captured.

So what is the situation? Where are Nikola and Constantine? It should be said that these two guys are very vigilant. After Svoboda escaped, they immediately realized that the situation was not good. If Svoboda fell into the hands of the Bolsheviks, it means that they might be exposed.

In order to eliminate future troubles and reduce the risk of exposure so as to continue the mission, they immediately executed all of Svoboda's friends. Anyway, they did not intend to let these people leave Crimea alive. After dealing with these "bags", they immediately rushed to Simferopol, where they needed to make final preparations.

However, the situation was much worse than they expected. Li Xiaofeng's movements were too fast and he arrived at Sevastopol first. He immediately controlled the situation and searched them all over the city. They understood the relevant information clearly through the spies lurking in the Red Army, which means that Sevastopol and the others could not go, otherwise they would fall into the trap.

"What should I do now? Give up the action?" Constantine said hatefully.

Nicholas didn't say anything, sitting on the edge of the bed frowned and thinking. His attitude immediately aroused great dissatisfaction from Constantine, and the guy kept complaining: "I'd told you a long time ago that Ludwig was a trouble. If it had been solved earlier, there would be so many troubles now!"

Nikola was much annoyed than Constantine. He felt that it was not only Svoboda, but Constantine did not play any good role in it. If this guy hadn't been fucked by Svoboda, there wouldn't be so much trouble!

"Shut up!" Nicholas angrily scolded Constantine, "If you can control the smell of your mouth, we will definitely not be able to go to this field!"

Constantine became angry and jumped up and shouted, "Oh, this is my fault!"

"Of course it's your fault!" Nicholas was also angry, grabbed Constantine's front and taught her a lesson in a scattering way: "If you complain less and cause less trouble, will Svoboda escape? Will he betray? I warn you one last time, shut your stinky mouth, and you will not be allowed to speak without my permission! Otherwise, hum!"

Constantine had never seen such a terrible Nichola, so she was shocked and didn't say anything for a long time. Nichola just glared at him fiercely, then walked to the bed and sat down in a depressed manner.

This silence was not broken by Nicholas until ten minutes later, "We must divide the troops into two groups!"

"Why?" Constantine asked in a low voice.

"It's very simple," Nicholas said heavily, "our actions have been noticed by Andre Petrovic. He is already waiting for the rabbit in Sevastopol. So, according to the original plan, there is no point in going to Sevastopol!"

Constantine asked in confusion: "What does this have to do with the division of troops? Since the mission has failed, we should leave Crimea quickly..."

Nicholas glared at him and said, "That won't work! The coalition is in a very bad condition now. If we cannot instigate the Black Sea Fleet, the coalition will definitely have a dead end. We must continue our mission!"

Constantine interrupted, "But, you said you couldn't go to Sevastopol..."

Nikola said angrily: "After listening to me, Sevastopol is amazing, but this does not mean that we cannot complete the task. In addition to Sevastopol, the fleet's boredom also includes Odessa and Novorossisk, and we can only settle for the second best. You go to Odessa, I go to Novorossisk..."

A few hours later, Constantine hurriedly left the hiding place and rushed towards Odessa. But he didn't know that Nikola did not go to Novorossisk as they agreed. Instead, he stopped at the Port of Alushta, not far from Simferopol.

"Your Excellency, are we not going to Novorossisk anymore?" asked the White Army agent who responded to him.

Nikola sneered: "What are you doing in Novorossiysk? What's the point?"

The spy was a little dumbfounded and asked again: "Then do you ask Constantine to go to Odessa again?"

Nikola snorted contemptuously: "We may not be able to do anything without sending that fool away. Let your people go to Khlsun, Nikolayev and Odessa to spread the news, and then they said that they had discovered the traces of Constantine and me..."
