214 The Master of Skills (Part 1)

If nothing unexpected happens, it is only a matter of time before Kornilov and Denikin turn against each other, but all this is not known to the Bolshevik Politburo and Li Xiaofeng who are far away in Petrograd. Not only do I not know that the relationship between Kornilov and Denikin is breaking down, but I also don’t know that the social revolutionary places are secretly contacting the old officers and preparing to launch a coup.

It has to be said that the Bolshevik intelligence agencies are still very simple and powerless now, and may be able to monitor some key big cities, such as Petrograd and Moscow. However, they are almost blank in locations far away from the core areas of Russia, such as Ukraine, Ural Mountain and the Far East.

The actual situation is far more serious than what the Bolsheviks knew. Not only the old forces in Russia were ready to move, but the Japanese in the Far East had also begun to gather troops and were ready to send troops to Russia at any time.

Under this undercurrent, Petrograd was even in an optimistic situation. The Politburo and the Central Committee were concerned and discussed more about the issue of moving the capital.

After March, the Politburo had a plan to move the capital back to Moscow. The main reason was that the geographical location of the city of Petrograd was a bit like that. With the independence of Finland, the three Baltic countries followed closely and set up their own doors. This made the original Poland, Ukraine, the three Baltic countries and Finland, which were originally in-depth, suddenly exposed to the border.

From Petrograd to the north, you can reach Finland within thirty kilometers and go west, which is more than 200 kilometers away, and you can go to Estonia. To put it bluntly, Petrograd now has the meaning of the emperor guarding the country's gates.

Such an environment naturally cannot make the Bolshevik Politburo feel at ease. Even if the Brest contract is reached, who can guarantee that the Germans will not be capricious? Now, the shadow of Germans causing trouble can be seen everywhere in the Three Baltic Kingdoms, Belarus, and Ukraine. If you don’t do it well, the enemy’s army may be at the gate.

No matter how you look at Petrograd, it seems that Moscow is still safer and more reassuring. At least it has a larger strategic depth. It takes time for the enemy to fight, and it is convenient for the rear to run away. What's more, Moscow is originally the capital of Russia, and there is no political problem when moving back.

Maybe some comrades want to say that the Bolsheviks were too unaware of their ambitions. They were stage frightened before the fight started, and fled from the original revolutionary holy land in shame. This seemed to be unfair to look good!

But think about it the other way around. Can face be eaten? Is face important or inner strength important? When the Germans launched a storm-like offensive in February, for a while, Petrograd was indeed in danger. Even the mentor had to call on Petrograd workers to quickly pick up weapons and prepare to defend the capital.

This feeling of dancing on the tip of a knife is not good. Anyway, if the mentor chooses for himself, it is better to find a safer place to guide the revolutionary struggle across the country. At least you don’t have to worry about the enemy attacking the city of Petrograd if you are not careful, and then you will have to rush to consume political resources to defend the capital.

This is not nonsense. Not long after the outbreak of the Russian Civil War, the White Army of the Three Baltic Kingdoms, supported by foreign interference forces, assembled an army and advanced rapidly towards Petrograd, which once made the Bolsheviks very embarrassed. Just imagine, if the central organs of the Bolsheviks continued to stay in Petrograd, they would probably have fun.

Moreover, moving the capital to Moscow is not only safe, but also of considerable political significance. Moscow is inland and is surrounded by the most economic and industrial areas of Russia. If you control this area, it is equivalent to controlling Russia's throat.

From the later process of the Russian civil war, we can see that this area was really important. Even though the White Army was so arrogant for a period of time, the industries they occupied were not developed and did not continuously transfusion blood to their army. Even if the Red Army had undergone a large amount of consumption, the industrial bases in the rear continued to arm new troops.

By comparison, one side is the weaker the more you fight, and the other side is the stronger the battle, and it is clear who wins and who loses.

It should be said that moving the capital to Moscow was right for the Bolsheviks. Of course, this also means that Russia's foreign expansion over the past three hundred years has come to an end, which means that Russia has begun to move from expansion to shrinkage. Although this historical process has been repeated in the next hundred years, and even the Soviet Empire's arrogance was once arrogant, it was later proved that it was the general trend of history and was unstoppable.

However, now it is said that these are far away. As the capital moved to Moscow was put on the agenda by the Politburo, a lot of problems must be solved. The relocation of central agencies and the transfer of personnel, when this official registration system is about to be formed, chaos is inevitable.

People are moving! With the convergence of functions of Petrograd and Moscow, for various political forces within the party, it means that they must re-arrange and start a new round of political transactions. Before this, it is necessary to take a look at the gains and losses of major forces in the previous stage.

It doesn't need to be too detailed. In the previous round of struggle, the Leninists gained the greatest gain. Needless to say, Lenin won a great victory in the Brest contract issue. Just the advance layout in Moscow can win a lot of extra points.

Because of Li Xiaofeng's active efforts, the Lenin faction had an absolute advantage in Moscow. Not only did someone control the important position of Moscow Chika, but although Mularov did not completely control the Moscow Prefecture Party Committee, he still had a great influence in the Moscow Party Committee after forced formal training classes.

Don't forget that there are also the forces of Fulongzhi and Stalin. The former controls the military command power of Moscow, and although the latter has been hit repeatedly, it has a considerable influence in Moscow. If the above-mentioned people can work together, Trotsky will not be able to get along in Moscow, and his power in Moscow will be almost blank.

So before the decision to move the capital was officially passed, Trotsky must do some work, otherwise he would probably be exposed to fly if he went to Moscow so naked.

"I personally agree to the resolution on moving the capital to Moscow. Under the current circumstances, in order to better carry out revolutionary work, it is necessary to go to the hinterland of Russia to carry out work. The situation in all aspects of Moscow is very good, which is conducive to our work. However..."

Speaking of this, Trotsky suddenly paused. He looked at Lenin meaningfully and said carefully: "But moving is a very complicated task. Before moving the capital, we must coordinate the relevant situation and consider various issues clearly. Formulate a comprehensive plan and plan to implement it!"

Although Trotsky said it very beautifully, everyone here knows what his real intention is. This guy probably wants to bargain and try his best to improve his living environment after moving the capital to Moscow.

However, no one dared to speak for a while. The Leninists, including Stalin and Sverdlov, were paying attention to the mentor. If he didn't express his opinions first, who would dare to speak?

However, Lenin did not seem to realize that he was the focus of everyone's attention. At this moment, he was even so absent-minded, as if he didn't care about moving the capital to Moscow at all.

Until the entire conference room fell into a strange silence, the tutor reacted after realizing it and said casually: "Everyone will talk about their opinions and speak freely..."

Leaving this sentence, he seemed to be wandering outside the sky again, which made the Lenin troopers present secretly anxious, and they all complained to the tutor: "What's wrong with you today? Why are you no longer in your state? Haven't you seen that Trotsky is a bit sharpening his knife?"

Not to mention, Trotsky was really sharpening his sword, especially after he noticed that Lenin was absent-minded, he immediately swung his first sword: "To move the capital to a safe and smooth manner, we must first do a good job of security and security... At present, there are a large number of counter-revolutionaries in the entire Russian territory. It is conceivable that when they learn about our plan to move the capital, they will definitely move..."

Speaking of this, Trotsky stopped again, and he looked at Lenin again. He was about to get to the point below. If Lenin suddenly "wakes up" at this time, it would be a big problem. However, when Lenin was still so numb, Trotsky was a little relieved and surprised. Lenin's condition today was indeed very strange. What's wrong?

But no matter how strange it is, what should be said is already on the string, Trotsky will naturally not swallow it back. He took a deep breath and said loudly: "In view of this complex situation, the tasks and responsibilities of Moscow Chika are very difficult, and they will be tested harshly... Although I personally have full confidence in the comrades of Moscow Chika and believe that they are a team that can only fight tough battles, some objective problems may drag you down!"

Speaking of this, Trotsky was simply impatient and poured out all the following words in one breath, as if he was afraid of being interrupted: "Comrade Andre has been presided over the work of Chika in Moscow. His work ability has been unanimously praised by the central government. However, due to the attack of foreign assassins, he was seriously injured in order to protect Comrade Lenin. Now he is in Petrograd, and moving the capital is imminent. Should we temporarily choose another comrade to take over his job!"

Trotsky's words sounded like he was not confident, but in fact it was exactly the case. On this issue, Lao Tuo was indeed not confident. First of all, someone's work ability is indeed unquestionable, and secondly, someone's contribution to the previous period was too great. Even if the reality was severe, he would not dare to say that he had withdrawn someone and change to someone else to do the job.

Therefore, in the words just now, Trotsky repeatedly emphasized that someone's work was excellent and said a lot of good things. When he finally found out, he only dared to send another comrade to temporarily take over the work of a certain immortal.

It can be seen that Lao Tuo has considerable concerns on this issue. He doubted that once his suggestion was put forward, he would be hit by Lenin. After all, someone was Lenin's confidant and had just saved his life. In this case, Lenin had too many reasons to express his anger and unacceptable, and his anger could also be unanimously understood by the Central Committee members present.

Therefore, after saying this, Trotsky was ready to face Lenin's counterattack like a storm. He had already formulated relevant strategies, and he was confident that he would use this breakthrough to obtain a satisfactory excuse.

Not only Trotsky was ready to welcome Lenin to freak out, but the others here, including Sverdlov and Stalin of the Leninist, and Derzhinsky, who were not the Leninist, were all prepared the same.

However, the content prepared by both sides was a little surprised. Sverdlov and Stalin were preparing to agree with the opinions of the mentor. They rushed up and beat the dogs in the water, and were preparing to take turns to explode Trotsky's chrysanthemums; while Derrensky was relatively kind. From the perspective of maintaining the unity within the party and safeguarding the interests of the party, he was preparing to LaTrotsky at critical moments, so as not to be slapped in the face too badly, and to break the can and break the jar. This directly led to the full outbreak of the conflict.

Anyway, both sides had sounded the battle alarm. As soon as Lenin spoke, he rolled up his sleeves and went forward to fight! However, an unexpected situation happened again. Lenin did not erupt as he imagined. On the contrary, he nodded frequently to Trotsky's speech. It seemed that he agreed very much.

Finally, he sincerely praised Trotsky: "Comrade Trotsky's opinions are very important and pertinent... Eliminating the counter-revolutionaries in Moscow and maintaining the order of moving the capital is a very important and difficult task... Alas, if Comrade Andre was not injured, if he could still preside over this work, I would not have to worry about it at all... But unfortunately, his body has not recovered yet and he is unable to preside over this work for the time being. Then finding another suitable comrade to take over his work is an inevitable choice. Comrade Trotsky's speech was really bloody!"

Sverdlov and Stalin had a little short-circuited mind. If they weren't familiar with everything about the tutor, they would really doubt whether the tutor sitting in front of them was fake. How could you speak to Trotsky? This shouldn't be! You know, we finally got the cheka Moscow. Why did you say that you gave it to someone? And it was to give it to Trotsky, the biggest opponent?

Even Trotsky didn't believe his ears, and he was stunned. However, Derrensky, who was originally planning to persuade him to fight and be a veteran, frowned slightly. The iron-faced man seemed to realize something, but he was not completely sure. But he was very clear--Lenin was not out of state, nor was he talking to Trotsky, and there seemed to be something saying here.

The second person who realized this was Trotsky. He soon realized that he had reacted, and immediately the man began to calculate nervously. It seemed that he was calculating the gains and losses of interests. On the contrary, Sverdlov and Stalin reacted the slowest. It took them a long time to figure out the twists and turns.

In fact, before the two of them figured it out, Lenin had already continued to speak: "I don't think there is a need to take over temporarily. Comrade Andre's body is not suitable for leading the anti-counterfeiting work. Then let other comrades replace him temporarily. I believe that other comrades in our party will not be worse than him, and maybe they can do better!"

At this time, those who were not mentally enough were not just a few members of the Politburo. Most of the Central Committee were dumbfounded. Could it be that something happened in the party that they did not know in the past few days, so that the mentor had an objection to someone, otherwise, could someone’s most important position be removed?

There is a saying, there must be something in it!

Is this true? Surely not. Lenin was not the one who scolded the chef after he was full, recited the scriptures, and destroyed the bridge after he broke through the river. The reason why he was so generous was indeed profound. If you don’t believe it, listen to him say: “Comrade Trotsky, since you are the first to realize this, you must have a suitable candidate. Tell me, which comrade do you think is more suitable to take over Comrade Andre’s job!”

Trotsky cursed in his heart. He had already fully understood why Lenin was so generous, but even if he understood, it was useless. He was the first to take the initiative. Lenin just followed the flow. Thinking of this, he couldn't help but sigh: "Compared with open conspiracy, conspiracy is indeed the first level!"

Why do you say that? It takes a closer look at what kind of confrontation Trotsky and Lenin have had to be discussed carefully. The most important question is why Trotsky chose Li Xiaofeng as the breakthrough point to attack. This question is the most critical. In a sense, if you figure out this problem, the subsequent problems will be solved easily.

So why? There are many reasons, such as the right time, Li Xiaofeng was indeed injured, and he was indeed resting. It is obvious that he was not suitable to continue to lead the work of Moscow Chika. On this issue, Trotsky made a natural decision. He said it out loud, but no one dared to say that he was unreasonable.

Even if Lenin admires and likes a certain immortal very much, if he insists on opposing it, the reason for the matter is not with him. In other words, if the tutor wants to keep the position of a certain immortal, he will inevitably use his authority and some of his political resources.

What Trotsky most hopes for is this situation. The more political resources Lenin uses and the stronger his authority is, the more beneficial it will be to his subsequent actions.

Why? I talked about this issue when Stalin was talking about the position of Orchonnie Kieze. There are also unspoken rules for political treasury. No one can be a stingy person, even a great mentor like Lenin can do it.

If he invested too much resources in Li Xiaofeng's work and tried to go beyond the public, then he would have to make concessions on the subsequent issues. For Trotsky, he wanted to use Li Xiaofeng's work problems to force Lenin to make concessions!

PS: It’s so powerful to kill Comrade Tudou in seconds. It’s no longer enough to bow and thank you. I can only thank you!
