199 Sitting in a row and eating fruit

Krupskaya was very surprised. It was already nine o'clock in the evening. Why did the office meeting still have no intention of ending? The Politburo meeting started at midnight at 3 o'clock in the afternoon and has been held for a full six hours so far. What important matter has made the Politburo so entangled?

Anyway, according to Krupskaya's memory, only those events that were related to the party's major policies and policies would have been held for so long. For example, the last time there was a debate about the Brest contract for ten hours. If Trotsky had not suddenly changed the flag, the meeting would have been held.

Now, this meeting has an atmosphere similar to the last time. It is mysteriously prohibited by anyone from approaching the venue, and two guards were specially sent to guard the gate. What's more surprising is that these two guards guarding the gate must be several meters away from the gate.

This state can only explain one thing, that is, the content of the meeting is quite confidential. Anyway, Krupskaya is strange. What major changes have happened?

She couldn't help but guess, was it because the Allies launched armed intervention? Or maybe the counter-revolutionaries at home could finally unleash their rise?

However, she quickly dispelled the past two years, because if such a major situation really happened, there would be news, and she did not hear similar news, and even if such a thing happened, it would not be necessary to keep it secret. At least she knew that Lenin was not such a person. Faced with the reversal of foreign interference forces and domestic counter-revolutionary forces, he would probably only openly shout and call on all the workers, farmers and the Bolsheviks to fight them.

Thinking of this, Krupskaya couldn't help but guess: "Is there something wrong with the party? Is it because Bukharin is finally preparing to split the party?"

This speculation is more terrifying than the former, at least Krupskaya feels it is even more terrifying. She has a sense of confidence that no matter how powerful the enemy is, as long as the Bolsheviks can unite closely, there is no need to be afraid. On the contrary, no matter how weak the enemy is, if the party organization splits itself, it will be an unprecedented disaster.

Such concerns made Krupskaya feel a little restless. The more she thought about it, the more she became, the more annoyed she became. She wanted to rush into the conference room to understand and ask what big things happened. However, organizational discipline restricted her, even if she was a veteran of the party. Even if she was Lenin's wife, she could not violate the organization's discipline and could not ask about the secrets of the organization casually. In this regard, no one had the privilege to tell (at least at that time).

Krupskaya suddenly sighed. As Lenin's wife, her every move was closely watched by countless pairs of eyes. Any imprudent move could lead to political passivity.

After thinking about it, she suddenly sat down because she found that she was thinking about it here without any intention. If the content of the meeting was not particularly confidential, then Lenin would naturally tell her. On the contrary, no matter how much she guessed, it would be useless!

Before she knew it, Krupskaya sat down and fell asleep in a daze until the instructor covered her with a blanket. At this time, she suddenly woke up.

"Is the meeting over?" Krupskaya subconsciously asked this question.

"It's over!" Lenin's face seemed to show a joyful expression. This expression was so obvious that Krupskaya thought she was dazzled. She rubbed her eyes and asked, "What's wrong?"

Lenin's mood was indeed quite high. In the Politburo meeting just now, two key problems were solved in one fell swoop, namely the food issue and the international Communist Party organization. The initial solution to these two problems made the mentor breathe a sigh of relief, so that he felt a few years younger.

"Good news?" Krupskaya asked tentatively.

"It's really good news!" Lenin recalled the twists and turns of the meeting, and nodded heavily...

When Sverdlov said that at the venue, the Politburo members, including Lenin, were shocked. It was not that Sverdlov's speech was so groundbreaking. In fact, the First International and Second International played this role before the outbreak of World War I. However, before the outbreak of World War I, when German Social Democratic Party members agreed with the German Emperor's military budget in the German parliament, the Second International was in name only. At least after the mentor learned the news, he shouted: "The Second International is dead, long live the Third International!"

Of course, although the Second International, that is, the Workers' International, was finished, the Third International was not established immediately, because the international environment at that time did not allow it. The socialist parties of all countries participating in the Second International "unity" were "unified" under the banner of their own imperialism, actively promoting patriotic and defending the country, and singing praises for the world war. Under such circumstances, there will naturally be no new "international" birth.

Now, with the initial victory of the Russian Revolution and the initial flame of the proletarian revolution ignited on the European land, it seems that it is imperative to establish a new "international" to replace the zombie-like second international!

So when Sverdlov put forward this opinion, the Politburo members, including the mentor and Trotsky, admired the most not Xiao Si's idea. This idea was too ordinary. What really made them highly appreciate was the opportunity when Xiao Si proposed this idea.

In terms of timing, Xiao Si's proposal does not seem to be particularly good, because it is a bit too advanced to establish a new international. After all, the franchise parties of the Second International are still busy fighting for the country. It is conceivable that even if such an international is established, it will be difficult to get international response. Establishing an international now has a bit of the meaning of playing private servers.

However, too early does not mean that the timing is bad. On the contrary, both the tutor and Trotsky think that early can also have the benefits of being early.

First of all, both the mentor and Trotsky were very dissatisfied with the original Second International, and they all believed that the Second International's attitude on the issue of World War I was very problematic, which over-indulged imperialism and hindered the development of the world's workers' movement.

Before returning to China, the two mentors basically scolded the Second International to the point of being terrified. When they returned to Russia to carry out the revolution, they were eliminating interference from the Second International more than once. Anyway, let's put it this way, the two mentors were eager to destroy the Second International's Taiwan.

If a new international can be established to replace the second international, many things will be easier to handle and legitimate. For example, through this new international, we can issue orders to the political parties of the franchised countries to coordinate some inconvenient and explicit affairs. For example, this time, the food problem can be done through the new international.

This is just the first benefit. Secondly, even if you are playing private servers now, you have to put on the airs first. After all, it will not take long for a battle. At the fastest time, it will take half a year or a year, and two years later, several major rogue countries will inevitably decide the outcome. At that time, with the basic resolution of the contradictions in imperialist countries, conflicts in various countries will explode in a concentrated manner. It can be imagined that in the future, a climax of a workers' movement will inevitably usher in the climax.

If we can seize the commanding heights and create a Russian revolutionary sample, we will inevitably correct the right-leaning mistakes of the "old men" in the Second International and correct the adverse effects of revisionism, which is exactly what the tutor and Trotsky really want to do.

Of course, in addition to these two main reasons, there is also a small idea among the members here. That is, to improve the influence and status of the Russian Bolsheviks in the world's proletarian parties. You should know that it is different from the later Celestial Chronicles calling the Big Brother of the Revolution. At that time, the Communist Party of Russia was really not very high in the world's socialist parties.

According to the jargon at that time, the leading brothers of the socialist party were French and German, and the French had a higher status. This can be seen from a very simple fact: the headquarters of the First International and the Second International were both located in Paris, and revolutionary exiles all over the world were heading to France. For example, Lenin and Trotsky lived in France for quite a while.

There is a historical reason why the Germans have a high status. With the high development of German industry and economy in the second half of the 19th century, the power of the working class has become stronger and stronger. What's more, Germany has produced two great mentors - Lao Ma and Lao En. Of course, there is no need to say more about the status of these two people in the martial arts world?

So for a long time, the leading brothers in socialism were all competing with the French and Germans. That was quite coquettish. As for the Russian socialist movement and the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party, what, although it is not a passerby who is playing soy sauce, it can only be regarded as a supporting role. Who makes the Russian working class weaker, and who makes the general view of the Russian Russians not so pleasing to the eyes of the general Russians?

Let me give you an example that can illustrate the problem. After the May Fourth Movement of the Celestial Dynasty, the climax of working-study in France was set off. It should be said that most of the so-called progressive students were prepared to learn advanced experiences and theories. At that time, the Russian revolution had basically achieved victory and created a miracle. Why not go to Russia but to France where the workers' movement was in a low tide (in fact, work-study also became a joke, there were work-study, but I didn't learn anything). It can be seen that for Chinese students who were very backward at the time, Russia was not a revolutionary holy land at all, and was a target of despised (of course, there may also be reasons why Russia had just ended the civil war, the economic crisis was still serious, and the domestic situation was not optimistic).

From this we can see what happened to the Russian Revolution and the Bolsheviks in the world at that time. Lenin and Trotsky, who were strong, would naturally not convinced. You French and German, have taken turns to be a dealer since 1848. After half a century, the workers' movement has not improved at all. Now that I have successfully revolutionized, I have to create a model for you to see what is the correct revolutionary path.

It is not ruled out that the big guys like Stalin had such an idea. In fact, the direction of the Third International was similar to this later. The Russians made a strong sense of superiority, and once made the former leader French and Germans become followers. The French Communist Party's status in the international market plummeted, and it fell to the point that when World War II broke out, the French Communist Party was in an embarrassing situation of dilemma.

Of course, these words were too far off. Back to the meeting itself, after Sverdlov expressed his thoughts, Lenin and Trotsky were both lit up and thought it was a very good proposal, so the topic of the meeting immediately shifted from the food issue to what kind of new international issue should be established, so the meeting time was greatly extended.

"I personally believe that the new international should reject the influence of revisionism and build a pure socialist alliance... and the main task of the new international is to promote the development of revolutionary movements around the world!" Trotsky naturally wanted to promote his theory of continuous revolution, but no one would object to him at this time, because if the revolution was not exported, what should we do? The Russian Bolsheviks did not mean to find a stepfather for themselves.

Lenin nodded in agreement and immediately added: "But under the current circumstances, the most important mission of the New International is to organize and coordinate the relationship between socialist parties in various countries so as to better carry out the revolutionary struggle!"

The tutor's meaning is also very clear. He just said: "Teacher, you want to export a revolution. I have no objection and agree with it. But your plan is still in the future. Don't be too ambitious. Solve practical problems first and straighten out the relationship between political parties in various countries first!"

Trotsky naturally would not object to this point, so soon the mentor reached a consensus with Trotsky. As long as the two of them nodded and passed, who would dare to say that they would not pass. But immediately, a new problem arose, who would lead this new international?

Naturally, with the idea of Lenin and Trotsky, the New International would be better off accepting the leadership of the Russian Bolsheviks, otherwise what is the point of establishing this International? But no matter how you think about it, you cannot do this. Political things should be more conscientious, at least you cannot do it too much. Therefore, the New International is nominally still accepting representatives elected by socialist parties from various countries to implement collective leadership.

However, because of the success of the Russian Revolution and as the initiator of the new international, the opinions of the Russian representatives are probably respected by representatives of other countries. After all, Russia is an advanced country and a model of the success of the revolution. We cannot let the advanced obey the backward leadership, right?

Therefore, the actual leadership core of the New International must be Russian, but which Russian should lead it? To be honest, this is a very sensitive and critical issue. It is conceivable that New International will play a very important role in the future, even if it cannot lead the revolution of the whole world for the time being, it can still lead in the future.

So I grabbed a few seats in this institution as early as possible and placed a few confidants in it. It seemed very necessary for the big guys here, especially those with higher ambitions, such as Stalin, who was thinking about how to send his iron team to the New International.

This topic must be opened by the tutor first. After careful thinking, he slowly said: "The leaders of the new international are a very critical issue. For the time being, I think we should put on a stance first. However, since the foreign workers' movement was suppressed by revisionism and was not carried out fiercely enough, this stance may only be dominated by domestic comrades for the time being!"

Of course Trotsky would not object to this point. Only Russia has achieved success in the revolution for the time being. It is inevitable that the advanced comrades who led the Russian revolution will take the helm. Moreover, the theme of comrades in China also means that there will be more seats. What's wrong with everyone sitting in a row and eating fruit?

He immediately said: "I agree that it is the most correct choice to temporarily preside over the overall situation by comrades in the country. It is the most correct solution to lead and spread advanced revolutionary ideas by a group of comrades with practical revolutionary experience and leading the Russian working class to victory!"

After finishing the official article, the next step is to divide the cake. The first knife is naturally the master of the mentor. "I think Comrade Zinoviev has passed the revolutionary theory, has rich revolutionary experience, and has long-term experience in communicating with foreign comrades. It is more appropriate for him to be the leader of the new international!"

To be honest, the candidate thrown out by the mentor surprised everyone here. After all, everyone has seen the performance of Dapianface before. It is nonsense that rich revolutionary experience is simply nonsense. To be honest, it is because of the rich experience of counter-revolutionaries!

Anyway, Stalin was a little angry at that time. At such an important position, the tutor actually wanted to hand it over to someone who opposed him. This is so nonsense!

But if you think about it carefully, it is understandable that Lenin nominated Zinoviev. First of all, Dapinface has been quite good in the past few months, and he is more correct and determined in taking the team. He is praised by reason. Moreover, in theory, he is indeed experienced in communicating with foreign countries, so it is more appropriate to let him take charge of international affairs.

As for whether this goods will be proud and become a rebellious one in the future, Lenin was not particularly worried. The leaders of the New International looked glamorous, but in fact they were just donkey dung eggs. Without corresponding political status in China, they could not occupy a place in the Politburo, and having that empty title would not be a big deal. To be honest, the mentor could hold this goods up today, and then he could also throw them down.

Anyway, Trotsky was not as surprised as Stalin. He didn't care about the nomination of the mentor. For him, it was imperative to quickly cut the second shot.

He couldn't wait to say, "I nominate Comrade Ulitsky!"

This nomination is also a bit unexpected and reasonable. Although Ulitsky did not reach an agreement with Trotsky on the issue of Brest contract, the relationship between the two sides did not break down. Moreover, Trotsky has always been upset about Ulitsky's defeat in the election of the CPC. He urgently wanted to create a chance for Ulitsky to make a comeback. Now, the establishment of a new international is undoubtedly the best opportunity!
