391 Deep Dialogue

Li Xiaofeng certainly understood the teacher's concerns. The Bolshevik propaganda machine has always emphasized one thing: we are different from the bourgeoisie. Our party is completely serving the proletariat. Our party's first mission is to lead the proletariat through the cage of the bourgeoisie and create a society unprecedented in human history.

It has to be said that this propaganda was so successful that most of the working class in the entire Russia was devoted to the arms of the Bolsheviks. However, it inevitably led to a wide spread of wrong emotions - hostility to the proprietors and deliberately divided the people in society into two different groups.

As this emotion continues to spread, it gradually becomes hysterical, forming a wrong concept that we must support whatever the enemy opposes and we must make the right one.

This idealistic argument has no benefit at all. Confucius said that there must be one who can walk three people. Is the advantages of the enemy not worth learning? Do we also have to oppose the right things the enemy does?

If this simple dichotomy of the enemy and the world view is used, it can be imagined that human life will become a mess. Unfortunately, in the early days of the revolution, especially when the general public just woke up, such arguments were very popular.

Not only ordinary party members think that this is correct, but even some bigwigs at the level of Central Committee members support this view. For example, Stalin's group of people supports this brainless argument the most. They strongly dislike everything about their enemies, including their physical body, spirit, and their relatives and friends.

They believed that only by completely eliminating all bourgeois enemies and their "sympathizers" can the victory of the revolution be achieved. But these guys never thought that according to the six-degree division theory, there will be no more than six people between you and any stranger.

In other words, you can get to know any stranger by up to six people. Therefore, if you want to clear away everything in this world that has the imprint of bourgeoisie, then Comrade Iron will probably have to destroy himself first.

The problem is that Comrade Iron does not believe in this evil, and the small group of dogmatists led by him strongly oppose everything about the enemy. Even if this enemy can become his ally, he will not accept the other party.

Since Li Xiaofeng hired Mannaheim, Stalin fired more than once, believing that no old soldiers should be trusted. The revolution could be completed by relying solely on the power of the Russian proletariat. He strongly opposed the existence of old soldiers in the workers' Red Guards and any party's armed forces, believing that these people were enemy spies and spies, just to carry out sabotage.

It can be imagined that Brusilov's identity is far more sensitive than Mannarheim. If he is really hired, Stalin would probably be the first to be crazy. Although Stalin is nothing now, at such a critical moment of the revolution, Lenin hopes that the party will be as united as possible and be consistent as possible to the outside world. So he is very worried that hiring Brusilov will cause a chain reaction.

"I think some comrades' distrust of the old soldiers is understandable, but it is extremely narrow!" Li Xiaofeng said flirtatiously, "You told me that in order to achieve the victory of the revolution, we must unite all the forces that can be united. The old soldiers are not all the lackeys of the Tsar and the bourgeoisie. We must distinguish the stubborn conservatives from other soldiers who can save them. We must give ruthless blows to the former, and we should save them as much as possible!"

Lenin ignored this, and he said without saying anything: "I don't want to know this. I just want to know. How do you ensure that there will be no enemy spies mixed among the old soldiers you said to be able to save and run into our revolutionary ranks to cause damage! If this problem is not solved, the Party Central Committee will not agree with your suggestions!"

Li Xiaofeng patiently explained: "There is no perfect way in the world to prevent the infiltration of the enemy. To be honest, there have always been enemy spies in our party. If we must seize this point, our party should not want to absorb any new party members. Because they may be the enemy's spies!"

Lenin smiled: "I am not interested in going around circles with you, nor am I interested in discussing this topic that cannot be achieved. Now, Andre, you only need to tell me. If you absorb old soldiers into our team, how can you ensure their loyalty!"

Li Xiaofeng was a little anxious. He emphasized: "We have not absorbed any middle and senior officers from the old army into our team. I am just asking them to act as military advisers and let them help us train some qualified military commanders. Why is this so exaggerated?"

"Of course you have to exaggerate!" Lenin smiled. "Even if I can agree with you, do you think all the comrades in the Central Committee can understand your approach, and they will not exaggerate?"

Li Xiaofeng was stunned. Looking at someone's dazed look, Lenin smiled again: "Andre, I know that your suggestion is very good. I personally agree with your opinion. In order to better carry out armed struggle, we must train a group of qualified military commanders. However, it is still a bit too far for appointing senior generals of the old army!"

Li Xiaofeng said unwillingly: "Does there be no old soldiers in our current team? There are old officers in the First Machine Gun Regiment and Peter Papulov Regiment. According to your statement, should we drive them away? What's more, the soldiers who support us are all the former Tsar's army. Should we also drive them out of the revolutionary ranks?"

Lenin shook his head, "You are sophistry! I ask you, does Brusilov support our party? Does he support our party unconditionally? This is the fundamental difference between the two!"

Li Xiaofeng smiled bitterly. Indeed, Brusilov was far from supporting the Bolsheviks, and it can even be said that he was very disgusted with the Bolsheviks. If he were Lenin, he had to consider why a person who opposed him had to join his side.

Li Xiaofeng had to admit: "He is not the same person as us."

Lenin laughed and said, "That's right. You guy is so bold. Even such a person dares to pull back..."

Before the tutor could finish his words, Li Xiaofeng said again: "But Brusilov, Kornilov and Kerensky are not the same as each other!"

Lenin put away his smile and looked at someone with a lot of laughter and tears, "You guy, what should I say to you? Why do you value Brusilov so much, just because he is a famous Russian soldier?"

"I'm buying horse bones for a thousand gold! Think about it, with Brusilov's prestige in the old army, if he doesn't even support Kornilov, it will be extremely beneficial to us!"

Lenin curled his lips: "This is not enough!"

"And!" Li Xiaofeng said quickly, "According to your plan, we will turn this imperialist war into a domestic revolutionary war. Do you think the troops that support us now can be of great use?"

When Lenin heard this, he was immediately unhappy: "What do you mean?"

Li Xiaofeng took a deep breath: "Comrade Lenin, we all know that the army that supports us is the troops that were defeated by the Germans on the battlefield. They were completely disgusted with this war. Once we have mastered the regime and ended the war with the Germans, it will inevitably mean the outbreak of the civil war. At that time, why do you guarantee their combat effectiveness? Why do you guarantee that they will not collapse again?"

Lenin was speechless about this issue. Of course, this did not mean that he had never thought about it. After the defeated soldiers who were looking forward to peace learned that the old soldiers who were unwilling to fail launched a rebellion against peace, they should take the initiative to pick up their weapons and throw them into battle to defeat these enemies.

However, Lenin knew the combat effectiveness of these defeated soldiers. It might be okay to shake flags and shout to increase the number of people. It is hard to say that it is really on the battlefield. At least he dare not overestimate the combat effectiveness of these soldiers.

"Don't we still have the Red Guards of Workers!" Lenin suddenly said, "They are extremely loyal to the Party and the Revolution, and their morale and combat effectiveness can be guaranteed!"

Li Xiaofeng smiled and asked back: "The morale of the workers' Red Guards is indeed fine, but the military quality is quite difficult to say, at least the Luga blocking war shows that it is difficult to win the battle with courage and meaninglessness alone. Even if you can, you will pay a heavy price... Comrade Lenin, the number of Russian working class is limited. If they are sent to the front line, who produces weapons and ammunition for us? Who will start the machine for us?"

Lenin was stunned by the question. Li Xiaofeng said in a hot iron: "If the Russian working class loses blood, it will be equivalent to making our party lose blood. Even if we can win in the end, how heavy will it cost? It will inevitably take longer to recover, and our enemies are not just the Russian bourgeoisie. Will Britain, France, the United States and other bourgeois regimes in the world allow us to control Russia easily? How will we deal with their armed interference?"

A series of problems gave Lenin a headache. He did not expect someone to develop from a military consultant to such a broad area.

"You kid like to exaggerate!" Lenin said as calmly as possible, but a huge uproar in his heart in the world. "Of course the power of our Russian working class is not strong, but the power of uniting the working class of Britain, France, Germany and the United States should not be underestimated!"

Li Xiaofeng curled his lips and said, "I don't want to put Russia's destiny on the rise of the working class in Western Europe like Comrade Trotsky... Just the backward Russia, the reactionary forces are so strong and stubborn. I doubt that Western Europe and the United States, with more reactionary forces, can solve the problem by relying on the working class alone."

If someone else said this, Lenin might have to teach a few lessons, but Li Xiaofeng was speaking, he felt very comfortable. Although he accepted Trotsky's gang faction, it was not that Lenin admired the continuous revolutionary theory advocated by Trotsky.

Lenin did not agree with the argument that the working class in Western Europe decided the future of the proletarian revolutionary movement. The facts now proved that a large number of socialist revolutionaries in Western Europe had already fallen into the arms of the bourgeoisie and began to greatly revise the theory of MARX. They were more willing to cooperate with the bourgeoisie to carry out reforms rather than launching a revolution. Linking Russia's fate to them was equivalent to suicide in Lenin's view.

Lenin believed that the Russian Revolution made great achievements. The Russian Revolution not only acted as the function of the sparks to convey the flames of revolution. It should have a higher status and will become the heart and brain of the world's proletarian revolutionary movement!

This is the biggest difference between Lenin and Trotsky. The tutor is more concerned with Russia itself, rather than placing all hope on the victory of the working class movement in Western Europe. Therefore, he was more concerned about the possibilities raised by Li Xiaofeng.

Lenin asked: "According to your opinion, we cannot have too much hope for the Western European workers' movement?"

"If the United States does not participate in the war, there is still great hope." Li Xiaofeng smiled bitterly, "But the United States has officially joined the war. Then the situation will become completely different. It is unlikely that the workers' movement between Britain and France will explode, but Germany may collapse."

Lenin nodded and agreed. In fact, many people saw it. This world war became completely different because of the sudden joining of the Americans. With the United States' industrial ability, it would greatly transfusion blood to Britain and France and bring them back from the brink of economic collapse. As long as Britain and France recovered, it would inevitably greatly inhibit the workers' movement. At that time, it would be completely impossible to expect the workers' movement to produce a domino effect.

If a chain reaction cannot occur, it is obvious that the Russian workers' movement will be jointly strangled by the bourgeois regimes all over the world, which is not good news. In a sense, the prospects of the revolution will be extremely dark!

Lenin said worriedly: "In other words, the enemies we are going to face are not only the Russian bourgeois reactionaries led by Kerensky and Kornilov, but also the interference from foreign countries..."

Speaking of this, Lenin paused and then said firmly: "That is to say, we need an army with more combat effectiveness!"

Speaking of this, the tutor looked at Li Xiaofeng meaningfully. Although this is not the first time the tutor thinks someone is evil, he still feels that someone sometimes really makes people surprised.

"Okay!" Lenin sighed, "I have to say. You guys have a trick that makes people fall in love!"

Li Xiaofeng asked happily: "Do you agree to that?"

However, Lenin immediately poured a basin of cold water on him: "I don't agree completely!"

Li Xiaofeng exclaimed: "Why is this?"

"Because these are based on predictions," Lenin suddenly sighed, "Although I believe your prediction is likely to become a fact... But not everyone in the party believes... especially Trotsky, your prediction will greatly anger him. He will fire violently at you until you are crushed into powder! And I believe that many old comrades in the party will take this opportunity to fire at you, and do you think you can withstand it?"

If it were Li Xiaofeng from the past, he would probably have been careless, but after several months of training, his political wisdom has indeed improved greatly, and he is sure that he will definitely not be able to withstand it.

"But I believe that Comrade Lenin, you will definitely convince those comrades who have opposes!" Li Xiaofeng flattered.

Lenin gave this guy a blank look and snorted: "I will tell you clearly, I can't stand it! This is to offend the public's anger. Don't talk about me and you, even if you add Comrade Yakov, it won't work! Because your opinion is equivalent to denying the future of the revolution!"

When Li Xiaofeng heard this, he felt cold sweat. Only then did he realize that the current trend of thought within the party is not as wonderful as the historical books in later generations - everyone is full of confidence in the revolution and is fearless under the leadership of the party.

Well, this is purely nonsense. The bigwigs in the party were not particularly optimistic about the future of the revolution at the beginning. Otherwise, after the victory of the February Revolution, the mentor would not be the commander alone and would be in a dilemma of no support.

If it weren't for the incompetent Cadets, the Social Revolutionary Party and the Mensheviks pushed the revolution to the left again and again, I'm afraid that the bigwigs within the Bolsheviks would still be thinking about how to cooperate with the bourgeoisie!

But even though the revolutionary thoughts kept turning left, the Bolsheviks still distrust the power of the Russian working class, among which Kamenev and Zinoviev were the most prominent representatives. They extremely despise the power of the Russian workers and believed that the time for the revolution was far from ripe.

Although other bigwigs who support the mentors support the armed struggle, in their hearts, they have no idea about the Russian working class. Therefore, their hope for the future is completely on continuous revolution. They hope to drive the development of the entire world's workers' movement by promoting wave after wave of revolutionary movements.

To put it bluntly, it means treating the Russian revolution as a lever and trying to leverage the whole world through this lever. Now, Li Xiaofeng told them that the Russian revolution is not leverage, or that there is nothing on the leverage end. Even if the Russian revolution is victorious, it will face the encirclement and suppression of the whole world. Do you think they have not completely exploded?

Therefore, this layer of window paper must not be broken, at least it cannot be broken before the Russian Revolution won. Otherwise, a riot will occur within the party and will immediately become disorganized. Some fencemen may immediately change their homes and run to the Mensheviks. Do you think the tutor will do such stupid things?

"Then we will do nothing?" Li Xiaofeng was stunned.

"It's not that you do nothing, but that you do it in a flexible manner!" Lenin said earnestly, "We must change the form they can accept to promote this!"

Li Xiaofeng asked curiously: "What form?"

However, Lenin did not answer this question directly, but asked back: "How do you think it's like setting up a political commissar in the army?" (To be continued.
