294 Stupid and Stubborn (Part 1)

The Peter Bopulov regiment was originally located in the city of Petrograd, but during the February Revolution, the regiment was too active and was almost the first to rebel. So after the establishment of the first Provisional Government, Duke Lewoff and his men had no favoritism for the regiment. The first one tried every means to redirect the regiment and settled the regiment out of the city and placed it in Gatchina, about 25 kilometers away from Petrograd. The main task was to be responsible for guarding the Gatchina Palace.

The Palace of Gatchina was once the palace of Tsar Paul I, and is especially famous for its unique palace gardens and buildings. Among them, the royal garden was built during the reign of Earl Gregoriorev, the queen's favorite minister. The reason was that the Count wanted to own an English-style palace in Gatchina at that time.

The Palace of Gatechina covers a huge area, with ten towers and underground entrances and exits leading to the lake. All of this is the difference between it and other palaces outside the city. After the Earl of Orlov died, Catherine gave the Palace of Gatechina to her son, Paul I, the future heir to the throne.

Because the purpose of the construction of the Palace of Gatchina was not for celebration, but for living, the interior of the palace was solemn and magnificent, extremely luxurious, and treasured many unusual and precious works of art. Therefore, from Paul I, almost all the Tsars settled here.

However, after the victory of the October Revolution, the Gatchina Palace was nationalized and was first opened to the public as a museum. However, in 1923, in order to please the great revolutionary leader Trotsky, the city of Gatchina was renamed Trotsky, and the Gatchina Palace was also renamed Trotsky Palace.

Of course, this rename was not long. With Trotsky's failure in the political struggle in 1929, he was exiled. Another great leader, Stalin, changed Gatchina to Krasnovadisk. To be honest, this rap name is not easy to remember at all. In fact, the Chinese meaning is Red Guard City.

In 1941, the Soviet Union's Patriotic War broke out, and during the years-long Leningrad Defense Battle, the Red Guards fell into the hands of the Germans. They were once again renamed Lindmanstadt. Many precious works of art in the palace were stolen by the Germans. When the Germans retreated, the palace itself was almost destroyed and was not partially restored until 1985.

Of course, everything is fine in Gatechina now, and it can even be said to be beautiful. Voroshilov, who is stationed in the Peter Bapulov regiment, is very satisfied with this palace. As a complete brave warrior, Voroshilov likes everything that makes men feel excited - beauties, weapons, horses, and mansions.

As the palace of His Majesty the Tsar, the Gatchina Palace naturally deserves a mansion. Even if Voroshilov cannot live in the room where His Majesty the Tsar stays, he feels very satisfied as long as he can have a room in this palace. Of course, he also secretly swore in his heart that after the success of the revolution, he must enjoy it in this palace and taste what it feels like to be an emperor.

Voroshilov was in a very good mood and was more confident in the armed uprising tomorrow. The only thing that made him reluctant was this comfortable palace. Petrograd's living conditions were a mess. If possible, he really didn't want to return to that bad city.

"How are you preparing?" Voroshilov patted the quarantine's shoulder and asked carelessly: "All carriages are enough? I don't want to leave some good guys behind. Hehe, revolution needs them very much!"

The quartermaster rubbed his red rosacea nose and replied carelessly: "Comrade Clemente, don't worry, okay, I have requisitioned all the carriages of the marquis and dukes next door. They are all the best horses, run that fast! You must send the young men into the city with glory!"

Voroshilov patted the quartermaster's shoulder again to show his reward, "Tell the young men to move more quickly, and each of the first company to rush into Petrograd will be rewarded with a bottle of high-quality vodka!"

Hearing the words vodka, the quarconian's eyes shone. For Russians who are good at wine, there is no better reward than this. During this period, as the domestic economic situation became worse and worse, the troop ratio was getting worse. Not to mention high-quality vodka, even a bottle of industrial alcohol mixed with water was rushing to drink. If it weren't for the quarconian, he had to sit in the back, and he would have been determined to take the young man under his command to fight for this honor.

Soon, the high rewards Voroshilov promised made the Peter Buplov group completely excited. The young men were full of energy and wanted to take action immediately!

Voroshilov proudly pointed to the busy scene in the camp with a horse whip, and said proudly to Burganin, who was sent to supervise him: "See, I just used one sentence to make the young men completely excited. It can be said that no one in the party has such ability! By the way, has the central government ordered? I can't wait to do a big fight!"

In this year, Burganin was still a minor in the party. Faced with a powerful leader like Voroshilov, he honestly replied: "Comrade Klimente, the Communications Company is still in contact with the Central Committee. However, since the Central Committee sent a telegram to carry out the armed struggle as planned at 10 o'clock in the evening, we lost contact..."

"This is not good news!" Voroshilov frowned rarely, but he immediately said: "But isn't the general command of the armed uprising normal for communication? What did Comrade Stalin and Comrade Peterwolvsky say?"

"Comrade Peterwowsky confirmed the telegram of the Central Committee to launch an armed uprising. Stalin told us not to be disturbed by the outside world and to act according to the original plan. They said that the Central Committee may have a problem with the radio station and it should return to normal soon."

When he heard this, Voroshilov was happy, waved his whip and said happily: "Since Comrade Stalin said that, there is no need to doubt anything. Take action according to his order!"

But Burganin was a little worried and advised with caution: "Comrade Klimente, I think it is better to send a communicator to Petrograd on the grounds of caution. At this critical moment, we need to be more cautious. If..."

But Voroshilov couldn't listen at all. He was dissatisfied with the sudden sending of people to supervise the Central Committee, thinking that this was the distrust of the Central Committee in him. That is, he maintained restraint when he saw that Burganing was a member of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

Now that the other party dared to point fingers at him, he was impatient: "No need to say anything. Since the Central Committee has issued an order and the Armed Uprising General Command has confirmed the legitimacy of this order, what else should we doubt? We just let it go! My comrade, the revolution is not a treat to dinner. The more critical the moment we are, the more we should be bold and proactive, and don't let the mother-in-law and mother whine like a mother!"

Voroshilov glanced at Li Xiaofeng. Although he didn't know Li Xiaofeng and had never dealt with him, his impression of someone was very bad. The main reason was that Stalin. He had a very strong relationship with Stalin. He often heard Stalin say that someone was not, so he naturally didn't get into a cold.

"You are Andrei Petrovic?" Voroshilov asked arrogantly.

Voroshilov is not interested in Li Xiaofeng. Li Xiaofeng still looks down on him! According to someone's past temper, your grandson dares to talk to me so arrogantly, and you don't have any birds with you! But today it's not possible. He has a task and must bird this person.

"Hello, Comrade Klimentevremovic," Li Xiaofeng suppressed his anger and stretched out his right hand.

However, his kindness was completely ignored by Voroshilov. He didn't even move his little fingers and asked domineeringly: "Aren't you recuperating at home? Why did you come to Gatchina? Is there anything wrong?"

Li Xiaofeng took a deep breath and tried hard to remind himself not to be as knowledgeable as this grandson. Even if he had to settle the score, he would wait until the matter was settled - you grandson would wait for me. See how I arrange you in front of my mentor in the future!

Li Xiaofeng took back his right hand and was no longer polite. He directly explained his purpose: "I will come to tell you by Comrade Lenin's order. Cancel the uprising operation immediately!"

Voroshilov looked at Li Xiaofeng in surprise and asked, "Cancel the uprising? That's not what the central government said in the telegram just now!"

"The Central Communications Department has traitors, tampered with the Central Committee's orders, and then destroyed the radio station. You should have noticed it, and you can no longer contact the Central Committee."

Li Xiaofeng patiently explained the story and emphasized the seriousness of the matter. In his opinion, Voroshilov should have been to follow the good and the uprising immediately, but he really underestimated the stubbornness of this person.

Voroshilov asked bluntly: "Do you have written documents from the central government?"

Li Xiaofeng said with a laugh and cry: "Comrade Lenin and the Central Committee were imprisoned by the enemy. The instructions to cancel the uprising were the comrades of the TK who broke through the siege. They paid a bloody price to bring them out. Where can I find you written documents at this time!"

Voroshilov flatly refused, "If there is no written document, it is difficult to obey your order!"

"You...comrade, why are you so stubborn?" Li Xiaofeng was anxious. "If you don't believe me, you can contact Comrade Feodorov directly. I have the SCR300 radio station here, and let him tell you if it's okay!"

Before coming, Li Xiaofeng noticed this problem. Lenin asked Derrensky to break through and convey the central government's instructions. The biggest problem was that he did not give a written document. Of course, this was not the negligence of the tutor. First, at that moment, there was no time to tinker with any written documents. Director Alexander came to the door. After the documents were issued, Derrensky probably wouldn't be able to leave. Second, Derrensky is a member of the Central Committee and the Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission. He has always had prestige in the party. Who dares not take the news he conveyed seriously?

But after breaking through, Derrensky had to divide his troops into two groups in order to send the news. Finally, with the help of Li Xiaofeng, Georgi completed the task with Xuanzhixuan. However, the Iron-faced man had no news and no guarantee of his prestige. The cadres in charge of commanding the uprising did have reason to question the authenticity of the news. Therefore, Li Xiaofeng left a SCR300 radio for Fedorov to prevent the lack of persuasion when he was questioned.

It should be said that as the chairman of the Soviet Union, Feodorov's speech was still important. At least the families that Li Xiaofeng ran to the front questioned his words at the beginning, with Feodorov as a guarantee, everyone still chose to believe Li Xiaofeng.

The problem is that Voroshilov's stubbornness was completely beyond Li Xiaofeng's expectations, and he flatly rejected the proposal: "Comrade Feodorov cannot represent the Party Central Committee, I only listen to the orders of the Party Central Committee!"

Li Xiaofeng was speechless and shouted in anger: "The order of the Party Central Committee is to cancel the uprising, and the instructions you received are the enemy's conspiracy! Do you want to fall into the trap like a fool?"

The word fool seriously stimulated Voroshilov's nerves. As a big man, he was most taboo about this word, and he thought he had reason to question Li Xiaofeng, "Okay, as you said, the command of the Party Central Committee has been destroyed by the enemy, but Comrade Peterwolvsky, who is responsible for commanding the armed uprising, is highly consistent with the Party Central Committee. His orders are like the Party Central Committee, and he continues to act in an uprising! Then I can only doubt you - Andrei Petrovic, it is more likely that you have betrayed the revolution and attempted to destroy our uprising! I think this possibility is greater!"

Li Xiaofeng was really angry and pointed at Voroshilov's nose and cursed: "You are such a fool. I didn't tell you clearly just now. The Party Central Committee and the General Command of the Uprising were destroyed by the enemy. Comrade Peterwolvsky and Comrade Stalin are now missing!"

Voroshilov was even more excited than Li Xiaofeng. The whip in his hand almost hit Li Xiaofeng's face, "If you say Comrade Stalin is missing, then he is missing? This is the key to exposing your lies. I just spoke to Comrade Stalin's confidential secretary Comrade Flanger, but he said that Comrade Stalin and Comrade Peter Wolfsky are discussing the major plans and policies of the uprising! Tell me, if you are not lying, why are you in conflict with the command of the General Command? Humph, I think you are simply a traitor who has been involved in our party to destroy the revolution!"

Li Xiaofeng was so angry that Feodorov had no need to deceive him. Since Old Fei said that Stalin and Peter Wolfsky were deceived with the headquarters, that is to say, they were definitely in the hands of the enemy. In this case, Stalin's confidential secretary might have fallen into the pit together. Now that the confidential secretary openly speaks for the enemy, either he has surrendered easily or he is the spy installed by the enemy!
