Under the First Battle of Vyborg)

There is a reason Sukhoi is so active in asking for battle. As the new Luftwaffe fighter jets rushed to the battlefield, his small air force soon lost its offensive ability. In his words, he could only act as a fly driver in a boring manner.

Sukhoi was not very interested in air combat. Under his gentle and elegant noble appearance, there was a heart full of violence. The air force in his mind would be a military branch that could destroy the enemy in the air and solve problems alone.

But now, his troops have become fly swatters. Obviously, this is definitely not the result he wants. He urgently wants to attack, attack, and attack again. He uses continuous attacks to let the world see what the plane can do.

Destroying heavy artillery behind the enemy's defense line is undoubtedly the best opportunity. Previously, the First Artillery Brigade also tried to solve the problem with artillery, but their gun caliber was too small, and the 76mm grenade projectile was not enough for other people's fortifications to tickle, and the 122 sodrage range could not reach other people's artillery positions. The only 105mm cannon that could hit the enemy's heavy artillery positions was temporarily only shrunk bullets, and shrunk bullets could not chew fortifications, so there was no chance.

Tukhachevsky even requested a counterattack, and simply tore open the enemy's positions from the front, attack the enemy's heavy artillery positions, and use the army's bayonet to solve them. Of course, this plan is a bit whimsical. If trench warfare is so easy to fight, it is easy to be torn open, and so many people will not die in a battle.

And the most important thing is that the troops used for defense are now tight, so there is no surplus force to fill that pit. So Tukhachevsky's plan was immediately denied by Yegorov, and Lao Ye was not as impulsive as Xiaotu.

Since the army is unable to solve this problem, it seems that the only way to let the Air Force take action. Tukhachevsky and Yegorov are full of expectations for Sukhoi. The last surprise attack on the bridge has fully demonstrated the capabilities of the Air Force. This time, there is no need for a long-distance raid. The target is ten kilometers away. With the capabilities of the Air Force, it should be able to handle it!

"It will definitely solve the enemy's heavy artillery!" Sukhoi slapped his chest and issued a military order, "My young man will destroy all the enemy's artillery at one time! Let them become mute forever!"

Sukhoi's plan was to use the cross Ilia Murometz bombers and threw all eight tons of bombs on the White Army's heavy artillery positions in one breath, and he wanted to come here to blow up the enemy.

Tukhachevsky and Yegorov were also attracted by that number. Eight tons of ammunition is not a small number. When they thought of throwing these multiple bombs onto the enemy's positions in one breath, they felt that there should be a chance.

Among all, the only one who is not optimistic about Sukhoi is the only immortal. Indeed, Sukhoi's plan is feasible. It is really good to use bombers to deal with artillery positions behind the enemy. However, there is a premise, that is, aircraft and aviation bombs are powerful.

The Volunteer Air Force is equipped with simple old-fashioned bombs, with weights ranging from 10 kilograms to 50 kilograms, with limited power and basically ineffective against solid fortifications. The Air Force's early reconnaissance has proved a little. The enemy has built quite solid artillery positions, and the four heavy artillery are usually hidden in tunnels and are dragged out only when used. In addition, anti-aircraft machine gun positions are specially set up around the position, which shows that the Air Force is already on guard against bombing.

Of course, none of this is particularly important. The most important thing is that Ilia Murometz is not a dive bomber, and it is impossible to "precisely" remove fixed targets. If you conduct horizontal bombing, the hit rate is simply terrible. The bomb drop density of only ten aircraft is, unless the blind cat hits a dead mouse, there is no chance!

Although Li Xiaofeng was not optimistic about Sukhoi's actions, he did not object, because there was no better way for the time being. If the enemy's heavy artillery was allowed to take the blame, the defensive position east of Vyborg might collapse.

On a clear and cloudless morning, when the enemy's heavy artillery began a new day's work, Sukhoi's boys filled Ilya Muromets with bombs, and under the cover of fighter jets, slowly and clumsyly climbed into the sky.

They flew south first, then turned east. As the battle broke out in the outskirts of Vyborg, they flew straight north. They were soon discovered by the enemy's observation posts. In order to increase the suddenness of the attack and prevent the harassment of the enemy aircraft without eyes, they had to circle around.

The flight was smooth at the beginning, and the White Army never dreamed that Sukhoi and his young man would bypass their positions and stab them in the back.

"Enter the attack route!"

The leading long aircraft flew over the heavy artillery position. After the bombardment operator finished aiming, as the belly door slowly opened, more than a dozen 50-kilogram bombs began to perform free fall movements. The No. 2 and No. 3 following it also successfully entered the attack route in turn, throwing all the bombs on the White Army's head.

Kilometers away, Yegorov and Tukhachevsky saw this shocking scene in the telescope. At that moment, the sky seemed to have collapsed. After the explosions one after another, mushroom clouds slowly rose into the sky, covering the clouds and the sun, making them look extraordinary!

"That's great!" Yegorov happily punched the trench wall, which shows how excited he was.

Tukhachevsky was not much better. He licked his lips and stared at the return bomber. Something called fanaticism had already spewed out in his eyes.

The only person who keeps calm is probably a certain immortal. He is much more awake than these two. Although the bombing effect is very shocking, he still has to wait and see how the results of the battle are.

However, Yegorov and Tukhachevsky could no longer help, and said excitedly: "We must give the Air Force a merit and tell the logistics department to give each pilot participating in this operation a bottle of vodka. The boys did a pretty job!"

The Air Force pilot went to have a happy dinner. The only thing that might be a little complaint was Sukhoi, who was simply unable to drink, and he wanted Darjeeling black tea even more.

"If it were me, I wouldn't even give you wine!" A certain immortal said coldly to Sukhoi who came to "say" him.

"Why?" This guy didn't understand yet.

A certain immortal said calmly: "I will not receive any reward without merit!"

Suddenly, Xiaomoustache got angry and said angrily: "Why are you not rewarded without merit? We destroyed the enemy's heavy artillery..."

Before he could finish speaking, he was interrupted by Li Xiaofeng: "You have not destroyed anything!"

Yes, the young men of Sukhoi had not blown up anything. During this bombing, almost all the bombs deviated from the target nearly one kilometer, and even the edge of the White Army's heavy artillery position was not touched. The nearest bomb was one hundred meters away from the heavy artillery. It destroyed the field toilets of the German artillery and made the German positions stinking. Its greatest victory was its victory.

At one o'clock in the afternoon, the German heavy artillery resumed its shooting. Its slow and heavy rhythm once again hit Yegorov's heart, making the good mood, which had just been just two hours, worsen again.

"I can launch another attack!" Sukhoi also took the initiative, "We can lower the bomb drop height as much as possible and use all the bombers, which will definitely work!"

Try again?

Regarding Sukhoi's request, Yegorov and Tukhachevsky expressed caution in agreement, while a certain immortal clearly expressed opposition. The first bombing caught the enemy off guard, and the second time he went, I was afraid that the enemy would have been waiting for the Internet, which was too risky. Moreover, with the performance of Ilia Murometz, how much lower can the flight altitude be reduced? The horizontal bombing hit rate in World War II was terrible, let alone now?

However, for Yegorov and Tukhachevsky, who were anxious to get angry, and Sukhoi, who was determined to prove the Air Force, danger was nothing, as long as it could be successful, it was not hesitant to do so.

The next morning, they took the same route at the same time, but the planes almost doubled. The feeling of covering the clouds and sun during takeoff was really spectacular. But spectacular does not mean useful. This time they were entangled by German fighters halfway. After a fierce battle, five escort fighters were shot down, and most of the bombers were forced to return, leaving only four Ilias and Murrometz flew to the heavy artillery position with difficulty.

Sukhoi was really a man, and he squeezed out Ilia Murometz's extreme low-altitude performance. He forced the bomb to drop a bomb against the rain of bullets from the anti-aircraft machine gun below. The two Ilia Murometz who followed him were not so lucky. One fell head-on because of improper operation at low altitude, and the plane was destroyed and people were killed. The other family was caught by fierce air defense fire, and in an instant it was beaten into a sieve. After limping in the air for a while, it also fell and smashed.

As for the last Ilia Murometz was unable to enter the attack route at all, and was shot under the accumulating air defense fire. It had to throw away the bomb in a hurry and escape back in a panic.

This massive attack was a disaster. The air force, which was not much in the volunteers, suffered heavy losses, but the results achieved were still zero. Even a master like Sukhoi could not accurately destroy the target in horizontal bombing.

According to Sukhoy's unyielding personality, he must have launched a third attack, but he was yelled to stop by a certain immortal. And it would not be possible to stop. After two large-scale attacks, the volunteers' bombs were almost exhausted. You can't learn from the Japanese to play directly!

A certain immortal concluded: "Facts have proved that horizontal bombing in medium and high altitudes cannot solve such goals. Continuing to invest precious air power in this bombing operation that is destined to be impossible to achieve results is simply a crime! We must take other measures to destroy the enemy's heavy artillery!"

Li Xiaofeng's so-called other method is to make artillery. Although the cannons of the First Artillery Brigade of the Volunteer Army cannot do anything to the other side, this does not mean that Russia cannot handle the other side's heavy artillery.

Of course, it is unrealistic to transfer heavy artillery from the country to assist in the war. Time is too tight. When the domestic heavy artillery comes and builds a position, Vyborg may also be lost. The solution that a certain immortal thought of is the navy. Compared with the lame Finns, the Russian team is still healthy. And the powerful Baltic fleet is stationed in the Gulf of Finland. To the words of Eberhardt and Boris, you are too young to fight with the navy!

In fact, Li Xiaofeng had long wanted to dispatch the Baltic Fleet to help the war near Vyborg Bay. With the navy's artillery fire cover, the Finnish White Army could almost crush the Finnish White Army into powder. Unfortunately, the two idiots Corente and Durbinko had disturbed the whole thing in the previous period. It was not until Trotsky took action that temporarily stabilized the mood of the Baltic Fleet sailors that things had turned around.

After receiving the call for help from Li Xiaofeng, Trotsky immediately dispatched a battleship, two cruisers and six destroyers to Vyborg Bay. To be honest, the second mentor is indeed very powerful in this regard. He almost sent the battleships that the Baltic Fleet could dispatch to a certain immortal.

Under the escort of six destroyers, the battleship Gangut took the lead, followed by the Varyag and the Russian cruisers, and rushed into the Bay of Vyborg.

The person who commanded this formation was Lieutenant General Basilev, an old friend of Eberhardt. This old man was experienced and a small matter of shelling and supporting the enemy was simply not a problem for him.

"The Gangut, Russia and Varyag will use all main guns to bombard the White Army artillery positions. Under the guidance of the army's observation balloons, it is not a big problem to destroy the enemy's heavy artillery."

Basilev's words were correct at all. Compared with the four poor old 210mm cannons of the Germans, the 12 305mm main cannons on the Gangut were enough for them to drink a pot. What's more, the Russian and Varyags provided support.

Don’t underestimate the Russian and Varyags. Although these are two old ships that served in 1897 and 19, their firepower is not weak. The Russian has four 203mm main guns and 16 152mm secondary guns. Although the artillery installation method uses the artillery profile to fold the firepower on the side side, it is also quite considerable. Although the Varyag does not have a 203mm "heavy gun", the 12 152mm cannons are not vegetarians.

Let me put it this way, the side firepower of the Russian and Varyag alone is equivalent to the firepower of a heavy artillery regiment this year. And with Gangut's 305mm "giant cannon" formation, it can really crush the White Army.

Mannaheim didn't know all this. He was in a good mood these two days. After shattering the harassment of the enemy air force, he could finally eat up the Russians' positions little by little. If nothing unexpected happens, it will take up to two days. He will be able to break through the opponent's defense. On this morning, when he just woke up, he took a deep breath of fresh air. Just as he was about to wave his hand to issue the general offensive order, the disaster came.

Without any warning, the artillery position was covered by the firepower of heavy artillery, which was simply an overwhelming force. The shells were smashed at nearly 30 degrees. Even if the 470.9 kg type 1911 high-explosive bomb was not installed, it would hit a pit when it fell!

The violent explosion tore up Mannaheim's artillery position, and the stone and soil that was lifted flew nearly a hundred meters high and then fell down, which was even more powerful than hail. Mannaheim saw with his own eyes that four poor worms hiding in fortifications were hit by a shell and were instantly crushed. The scattered limbs actually landed in front of him.

Mannahem was careless, and the German artillery was careless, and drove away Russian planes. The Russian artillery could not reach them, which made them blindly optimistic. They did not transfer positions according to the artillery tutorial.

Of course, they actually have no positions to transfer. The existing positions are all repaired by work, and there is no time to repair the reserve positions. This omits a lot of the efforts of the Russian artillerymen. They just need to pour bullets into this long-exposed position.

When the first round of artillery was just over, Mannaheim heard a dull and favorable sound of artillery bombardment from the direction of the sea. He immediately felt a thump in his heart. He finally knew what he was ignoring - the Baltic Fleet!

Basilev, regardless of whether Mannaheim made a mistake or neglected anything, was to pour out firepower to completely destroy the enemy's position.

The Gangut, Russia and Varyag were fully fired. Thirty shells each round crushed the White Army's artillery positions like plowing the ground. The four heavy artillery, which were still showing off a few days ago, had no power to fight back. They could only watch the naval fleet ten kilometers away bombed them into a pile of broken copper and iron.

After only six rounds of volleys, the White Army's heavy artillery position turned into a pile of cemeteries made of craters and smoke. The navy, who was having a lot of fun, did not intend to stop. They quickly transferred their firepower and began to clear the White Army's offensive position.

This time, it was finally the White Army's turn to taste the power of heavy artillery. Vasily, who followed a fairy, recalled: "The navy's cannons were so terrible, especially the Gangut. He almost crushed the frontier positions of the White Army with his own strength. Under her firepower, the White Army's positions were wiped out from the earth little by little. When the shelling ended, almost no one could recognize the original appearance of the land."

Not only were the frontier positions of the White Army taken care of by artillery fire, but in fact, they were named one by one by the navy from the arsenal to the command center and the artillery positions. The violent artillery continued for a whole day, so that the Gangut had to return to the Baltic shipyard in advance to replace the spare gun barrels.

Under this unprecedented violent shelling attack, the White Army collapsed. They dropped their weapons and fled from the position with their tails in their arms, retreated in the direction of Raipo, and some poor people even ran away from their shoes.

Of course, the most important loss of the White Army was not morale collapse, nor was it the loss of strongholds and positions that they had finally occupied. More importantly, they lost an extremely important figure, Mannahem!

Under Gangut's heavy artillery bombardment, the three-story building he regarded as the headquarters was shaken by the explosion shock wave. Although the poor old man was pulled by the adjutant and ran wildly, he was lucky to avoid being buried alive. However, the old man exposed outside was knocked to the ground by flying shrapnel and super high pressure shocks.

Although the old man saved his life with the rescue of the military doctor, he was unable to command the Finnish white army that he had pulled up with one hand...
