Chapter 7 Keeping the Ten Commandments

Chapter 7

The entire Mingji Palace covers an area of only five acres. The buildings in the palace are natural and simple, with no decorations on each brick and wood. There is a main hall in the middle, one on the east and west sides, and the two floors on the right side of the hall are Sutra Pavilions, and there are several rooms on the left and right sides.

There are more than a thousand peach trees planted in front of the palace. It is early spring. The tender branches are sprouting, and the flowers are blooming red, thousands of flowers are blooming, and the fragrance is overflowing. Suddenly, a gust of spring breeze blows, alarming countless peach blossoms, sprinkling and falling red all over the ground.

Du Chongxiao had no intention of enjoying the spring scenery, but he just walked east along the peach blossom forest aimlessly. He crossed the stream in the forest for about two or three miles, and came to a cliff. He casually chose a bluestone to lie down, staring at the sky in a daze.

No one can understand the confusion and hesitation in his heart. In this world where Buddhism, Taoism, demons and monsters coexist, he is as small as an ant. If he does not want to be trampled to death at will, he must make himself stronger.

He once heard Liuli say that Taixuan Qingxu Palace, Biluo Immortal Gate, and Zhenyuangu Temple are the three major Taoist sects in the world. In terms of the long-standing Taoist dynasty and profound heritage, Taixuan Qingxu Palace is the best. Therefore, when Shang Qingmiao and others determined that he was the "destined person", he did not deny it. Although he knew very well that the so-called destined person should be the young man in white holding a seven-star sword!

He was willing to risk his life and seized the opportunity that originally belonged to the young man in white. He worshipped Taixuan Qingxu Palace to practice Taoism. He was not for the great way or for immortality, but for the almost slim hope hidden deep in his heart!

The blue sky is like a wash, with white clouds in the room, and occasionally you can hear a few cranes ringing. The spring breeze blows slowly, and the warm sunshine shines on your body. Du Chongxiao gradually feels heavy eyelids and falls asleep unknowingly.

Time passes quietly in a quiet and peaceful state, gradually the sun sets west and the sky becomes dark.

Not long after, night fell completely, a crescent moon hangs in the sky, countless stars flashing, and the Big Dipper is also bright. During this period, the bell of the Hunxiang Pavilion in Taiji Peak was ringing three times, but it was unable to awaken Du Chongxiao who was asleep.

Above the bluestone, a ray of bright light suddenly emanated from Du Chongxiao's chest. After a few breaths, a fragment of the star map slowly floated up from his chest and rose to mid-air, and instantly turned into a Milky Way virtual statue more than ten feet long and several feet wide.

There are also millions of stars in the Milky Way, and the Big Dipper is shining brightly, echoing the stars in the sky.

The stars fell from the Milky Way's virtual statue, wrapping Du Chongxiao in it. The infinite star power seeped into the pores, forming a trickle of water, rushing to all parts of the body.

At this time, Du Chongxiao felt that he was in the vast galaxy, and the stars in the sky were shining, as if they were within reach. Among the ten thousand stars, there were seven giant stars arrayed into a bucket, dazzling, and their handle was slowly rotating from west to east. Suddenly, a star at the end of the handle appeared, jumping out, dragging its long tail to roar towards him. The stars in his sight were constantly magnifying, and Du Chongxiao could even see the burning fire on its surface.

When his body was hit hard, Du Chongxiao felt a loud bang in his mind and blood in his sight. He didn't feel any pain, but he could clearly feel that his body was shattering and melting inch by inch until it was completely swallowed by the star body.

At the top of Tianxuan Peak, a starlight rushed straight to the Beidou. Among the seven stars of the Beidou, the shaking star appeared and the murderous aura rose, making the stars in the sky pale.

In the Mingji Palace, Zhenren Xuanxiao, who was standing in front of the window with his hands behind his back, witnessed this strange phenomenon, and couldn't help but look surprised and exclaimed.

When Du Chongxiao woke up from his sleep, the first thing that caught his eye was the stars in the sky. He turned over and sat up, watching around. But he saw the dark night, all the sounds were quiet, and in the cool breeze, occasionally three or five cries of insects came.

After a little estimate, he had slept for more than three hours from afternoon to now!

Recalling all the dreams, Du Chongxiao couldn't help but feel moved in his heart, and reached into his arms to take out the broken picture. It looked like paper but not paper, and it looked like silk but not silk. There were vague stars on it, emitting a faint fluorescent light in the night. When you rub it gently, you felt a sense of flesh and blood connection.

That night, he was hit in the chest by a young man in white, but for some reason he fell into a coma. It was a dream or not, and it seemed like he was in the vast galaxy tonight. Then when he woke up and saw Shang Qingmiao and others, the broken picture was already in his arms.

It was learned from Shang Qingmiao and others that this object was a fragment of the ancient treasure Tianhe Map. Even if there was only this small corner, it had extraordinary uses. He had some doubts in his heart that the fragment was originally owned by a young man in white, but why it fell into his hands, he couldn't figure it out.

Seeing the darkness of the night, Du Chongxiao put the fragments of the Tianhe Map into his arms and took the starlight to return to the Mingji Palace along the original road.

When the night watch boy saw Du Chongxiao coming back, he immediately told the kitchen to prepare dinner and then delivered the meal to Du Chongxiao's room.

Although he had not eaten for more than three hours, Du Chongxiao did not feel hungry, but instead felt full of energy and refreshed. Therefore, he only drank a bowl of lotus seed porridge, ate two pieces of fish, and then put down the bowls and chopsticks.

Looking back on the years when I drifted around with Liuli, eating and drinking dew, but I was happy to enjoy it. Now Liuli has become the young master of the demon clan, and he has also become a disciple of the Taoist sect. It is no problem to have enough food and clothing, and what I eat is probably all immortal ingredient and spiritual medicine. Take this lotus seed porridge as an example. It smells the fragrance everywhere and the belly is warm. Even if he has not entered the realm and does not understand the martial arts, he can vaguely feel the growth of spiritual energy in his dantian.

But why did he feel that this sweet lotus seed porridge is missing a taste?

Early the next morning, when the bell of the Hunxiang Pavilion on Taiji Peak resounded across the peaks, Du Chongxiao had already gotten up and washed up, and rushed to the place where Master Xuanxiao asked for his wish.

Next to the desk, Xuanxiao Zhenren picked up his pen and wrote. "Tao can be told, but not always Tao; name can be called, but not always name." It is the beginning of the Tao Te Ching. The undried ink traces are full of simple and unpretentious natural interests, just like Xuanxiao himself.

"Chongxiao, can you read?" Zhenren Xuanxiao looked at the boy standing beside him and asked warmly.

"Know some." Du Chongxiao replied softly, and then read the words and sentences written by Xuanxiao Zhenren.

Zhenren Xuanxiao nodded with a smile, then handed the brush in his hand to the other party and said, "You can write a few words and let the teacher observe it."

This...! Du Chongxiao couldn't help but be stunned, then took the pen with his teeth, came to the desk, and left four crooked words "Heaven and Earth Xuanhuang" on the snow-white paper.

Zhenren Xuanxiao looked at these four words carefully, and then commented: "Although the words are not good, they are clear and angular, which is quite grand. And look at your posture and brushwork, it is not difficult to achieve success if you practice hard for time."

He picked up a yellow book from the desk and said solemnly: "The way of the world is different. If you 'don't think about sound and color, gains and losses, honors and disgrace, have no worries, and no tiredness, you will be able to experience the wonder of 'quietness'! Take this book and copy it a hundred times before you see me."

The teacher's order cannot be violated, so Du Chongxiao had to respectfully take the yellow book and retreat.

Returning to his room, he asked the boy to prepare his pen, ink, paper and inkstone, spread out the book "The Ten Precepts of Truth", and began to copy it stroke by stroke.

"Whether you enter my Dharma, without asking about the customs of the Tao, you must first offer to the statue of the Great Dao, abide by the Supreme Master's Ten True Precepts. For those who keep the precepts, the gods of heaven and earth will be happy, the mind and ears will be opened, the six internal organs will be harmonious and happy, and the true guards will be protected.

The first precept is, "Don't disobey the elders and betray each other."

The second precept is: "Don't hurt people's lives or kill innocent people indiscriminately."

The third precept is, "Don't be arrogant and bully others by virtue of your power."

The fourth precept is: "Don't be greedy for treasures or steal people.

The fifth precept, "You must not be good at seizing others and yin other people's wives."

The Sixth Precept,…………………………………………………………………”

The Ten Precepts of Truth are the general precepts of Taixuan Qingxu Palace, and the whole article is only 315 words. However, Du Chongxiao wrote very slowly and strived to be neat. It took about two minutes to copy it.

After blowing the ink trace that had not dried, he picked up his "ink treasure" and looked at it carefully. After just taking a look, he couldn't bear to look at it again, so he kneaded it into a ball and threw it on the ground. He laid a piece of white paper again, dipped the pen in ink, and continued to copy it.

When the boy brought lunch at noon, the ground was already in chaos. Seeing Du Chongxiao's writing, the boy did not dare to disturb him, but just put the food box next to the desk and quietly retreated. However, before leaving the door, the boy could not help but curious and secretly picked up a piece of paper from the ground and held it in his palm. When he left the door, he walked to the place where no one was, opened the piece of paper and looked at it, and couldn't help laughing out loud.

After lunch, Du Chongxiao wrote down the paper again. He focused his mind and focused without distraction. Before he knew it, he was completely immersed in the ink traces he wrote.

Gradually the setting sun sets westward and disappears into the sky. The room is already dark and cannot be seen, but Du Chongxiao suddenly realizes that he doesn't even notice it, and even keeps waving. There is a fire in his eyes, sometimes flashing with a trace of golden light, and his sight is as bright as daytime.

As I was writing the sixth precept, "If you cannot defeat others, you will be a virtue." When the best rice paper suddenly showed a few wisps of blue smoke, followed by a flash of flames and it started to ignite.

Du Chongxiao was shocked, and quickly waved his sleeves to brush the burning paper on the ground, stepped on it and stepped on it to wipe it out. After gently closing his eyes, calming down for ten breaths, when he opened his eyes again, the flames in his eyes had disappeared. At the same time, his gaze was also occupied by the dimness in the room.

Du Chongxiao let out a sigh of relief. He knew that it was caused by too much concentration. As he grew older, the mysterious power that was dormant in his body became stronger and stronger. His hands were powerful, his eyes had the ability to see flaws, and his body came and went like the wind. This was his reliance for protecting Liuli and himself. However, after the rainy night in the Jialan Ancient Temple, he had already clearly known how insignificant this reliance was in the face of powerful Taoist magic and magic!

After dinner, Du Chongxiao continued to copy the commandments until the end of the Xu hour. He stopped writing. He moved his muscles and bones slightly, then blew out the candlelight, sat cross-legged on the couch, and his eyes lightly collided to meditate.

The fragments of the Tianhe Map floated out of their arms, and instantly turned into a Milky Way. Du Chongxiao opened his eyes and looked at the scene of the starry sky flashing like a dream like a dream. He couldn't help but exclaim. Subconsciously stretched out his hand and saw a few stars flying towards his palms like moths to the flames, and then turned into rays of light and seeped into his body.

In my mind, various changes flashed through the remaining pictures, as if they were born, and they had already realized it in my heart without me elaborating.

(1. The teacher’s order cannot be violated. Du Chongxiao had to respectfully take over the yellow book and retreat.

Returning to his room, he asked the boy to prepare his pen, ink, paper and inkstone, spread out the book "The Ten Precepts of Truth", and began to copy it stroke by stroke.

"The first precept is not allowed to watch **"; "The second precept is not allowed to watch the roar of the clouds and dragons of the Six Dynasties"; "The third precept is not allowed to watch **"; "The fourth precept is not allowed to watch **" "The fifth precept is not allowed to watch **"... Suddenly, Du Chongxiao felt that the decision to become a disciple of Taixuan Qingxu Palace was a bit too hasty.

2. But why did he feel that this sweet lotus seed porridge is missing a taste?
