Chapter 458 One Night in New York (12)

Imil apologized: "In the Superhero Registration Act, I only see the constraints of ordinary people on superpowers and mutants and the obligations imposed on us. "``Why is this? It's just because we are strong, so we have to bow to the weak in turn? What do you want Darwin to think?"

Because the strong are strong, they must compromise with the weak. How can nonsense be able to imagine such a bastard law?

Imil didn't care about Tony's mood fluctuations at all. He was just assuming a problem that would likely arise: "The registration bill takes away all our freedoms and all our autonomy. We don't know who the next decision-maker will be, and how the public's attitude will change. For example, I am both a person with superpowers and a member of the public. Why do I give up my freedom because of other people's fears? Granting freedom!"

"This is your problem, Emire, always puts himself above everything else." Tony looked at Rogers again: "And the captain is always living in the past, and that's where our differences lie. I face the future life, this is my job, and I tell you that no one will deprive you of your right to freedom, just hope that it will not harm others."

"It's better to believe me. What I'm talking about with you now is not the individual rights of superheroes, but the lives of people like us."

Imil was silent for a moment and said, "War in New York?"

Tony nodded: "Yes, the New York War."

During the New York War, the evil god Loki brought his Zitari army to the earth. So, everyone knew the existence of superheroes. They really knew that superheroes were not far away from them. They lived in their lives.

Tony said: "The public will not distinguish who is Captain America, who is Iron Man, who is Ghost, and they will call us the Superman or Superhero. We have not forgotten Stanford. People will not care whether it was the young heroes of the new battle group that caused the explosion or the murderer they were pursuing, and in fact, the new battle group is trying to stop them from continuing to commit crimes."

With his head down, Tony didn't want to continue to make a fuss about Stanford. He also had no intention of commenting on whether the young heroes of the new battle group were not smart enough or had insufficient experience. But their incidents did lead to the direct fuse of the introduction of the registration bill.

Imil couldn't deny this, and from his perspective, the young men in the new battle group did seem reckless: "Well, their judgment is too poor. For example, when dealing with criminals at that level, Nitrifiers, would you and Captain Rogers choose to fight in densely populated areas?"

Rogers touched his chin and asked, "It was the Stanford incident that changed your mind, didn't you? Before that, have you argued with lawmakers on Capitol Hill and refused to take out your steel armor or donate it to the country for service?"

Tony was going to answer Emire's words. But he hesitated for a moment and turned to Captain Rogers first and said, "It will pass one day. I always think it is inevitable since the New York war people knew about our existence. Although I do want to postpone it in the past, it is impossible to stop it after the Stanford incident. All we can do is to cooperate with it and guide it as a good side to us."

Imil said in a muffled voice: "But what I see is not like, except in adapting to the flow of fate. Tony, I can see that you really agree with the superhero registration bill. I can see, but I don't understand why this is."

This is exactly what Emire feels puzzled, and perhaps it is related to the fact that he did not live in the American environment since childhood. He never understood why superheroes like Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic, Ant-Man, and Marvel Woman had to go to the government and register their identities.

Apart from a civil servant allowance that cannot be starved, the government cannot give them more things, but Iron Man and others are dedicated to the government from beginning to end. If Iron Man is just alone, it can be understood that he is greedy for power.

But Mr. Magic and Ant-Man are also one of the smartest people on the planet. What kind of mentality do they agree with the registration bill? Tony pondered for a moment: "I'm afraid..."

This answer obviously surprised Emire and Rogers. With the character of Iron Man, are there anything that will scare him? He has faced the most vicious terrorists and also faced the killing alien killers.

Tony knew that Emire and Rogers had misunderstood their meaning, and he explained: "The incident similar to Stanford could have happened to me if it weren't for the young heroes of the new team."

Imil said strangely: "You mean, are you afraid that someone will use all kinds of abilities to control you and let you do some atrocities? This is hard to say, but..."

"It's not like that." Tony interrupted Emire's guess and said, "I'm not talking about thinking control. What I'm talking about is myself. Maybe I'll make bad decisions and lead to some tragedy."

Rogers scoffed at Tony's words and said unceremoniously: "Rich, you're a genius tactician. I've never seen you fight enemies in places like crowds, like schools or office areas."

Tony looked at Emire and Rogers and shook his head deeply, "Maybe I will, if I was drunk. I never told you this, nor did I say it to anyone other than the war machine."

That was when Tony had just become Iron Man, escaped from the terrorists, and announced that Stark's transformation was overturned. When Obadaiya Stan, the director of Stark's company, stole his company from Tony's hands, he learned to drink, and he drank very well.

Part of the reason was betrayal by someone he trusted, and another reason was the erosion of heavy metal from the energy source in his chest. For a while, Tony almost thought that his life would be short.

So he started to have a crazy happy life, drink, party, and carnival, so that Nick Fury sent a black widow to lurking beside him to prevent him from losing control at any time.

Tony's good friend of the military, Colonel Rod appeared at his party. He had never seen Colonel Rod as angry before, but Colonel Rod wanted to have a good talk with Tony. Tony said to himself: "Until today, I don't know why this is. I'm too ashamed to ask. I wanted to drive him away, but he refused, so I decided to put on my Mark-shaped steel armor and throw him out."
