Chapter 3 This peach has a big fate(1/2)

Buildings such as mountain god temples and land temples were quite common in the Tang Dynasty.

Since Master Xuanzang retrieved the true scriptures and promoted Buddhism, many legends of gods and Buddhas in the world have become increasingly prosperous.

Whether it is Buddhist temples or temples, they are all over the world.

Even worship sites such as mountain temples can be seen everywhere.

Even if the incense is not good, these semi-civilian and semi-official temples can serve as post stations, refugees and other places at some point, so the more they are better.

Under the nightfall.

Yuan Kang looked at the mountain temple not far away.

The temple looks old and seems to be quite old. The main hall, side hall, broken courtyard wall and other items are all available.

There were several passers-by at the entrance of the temple. The lights in the temple were bright and many passers-by were resting.

Yuan Kang first rushed to the remote courtyard wall, left the spell, and restored his original appearance.

After sorting out his torn clothes and ragged his face, he slowly walked towards the mountain temple.

After entering the temple gate, many eyes looked over.

Yuan Kang looked at him silently for a few seconds.

There are about twenty people standing or sitting in the temple, most of whom are temporary resting, such as passers-by and vendors, and sometimes several permanent beggars and homeless people.

There were fires piled up on the ground, and firewood was crackling, gushing out warmth.

Yuan Kang found a secluded corner and rested against the wall.

There is no "question mark" found in this temple, so I can only continue to find the next place.

After the talisman and magic are restored, find an opportunity to make some food to fill your hunger.

The temple is quite quiet.

The familiar ones sat together and whispered, some of them were either tidying their luggage or holding books, shaking their heads. Several of them even washed the clay pots and prepared to cook soup.

Yuan Kang looked at all this.

Until now, looking at the ancient temple costumes and listening to the ancient dialects, he truly felt that he was indeed in the ancient Tang Dynasty.

"It is now the first year of Sisheng. Emperor Gaozong of Tang Dynasty, Li Zhi died, and Empress Wu led the court to rule. It seems that in history, Empress Wu changed the court and became emperor within a few years..."

"Hey, why are there any stories of the rebellion of the kings and the rebellion of the kings?"

Yuan Kang recalled his historical knowledge, but searched the original owner's memory and found that history changed. Now the government of Empress Wu is unstable, the kings in the world are in war, and the Tang Dynasty is full of war.

In other words, this is not the Tang Dynasty I am familiar with...

Yuan Kang pondered silently.

suddenly!

A noise sounded in the mountain temple.

Yuan Kang looked up and couldn't help but be stunned.

On the altar in front, an old monkey sat on the table.

The old monkey has a fur face and a thunderbolt mouth, white eyebrows, and a human figure. She has ragged shoes, her hair is drooping, and her skin is covered with ringworm scars. She wears dirty Buddhist beads between her neck, looking like a poor and miserable look.

Its dim and turbid eyes always seemed to be open and closed, only stretched out its dry wood-like arms, sharp as bird's claws and fingers, and slapped on the altar.

Bang--

The temple is quiet.

"You must have heard of his story..."

The old monkey's voice was low and vicissitudes. Every word was sent into everyone's ears, as if it was told in his ears.

Everyone was even silent.

"Some people say that he helped Tang Seng obtain the true scriptures. He sealed the Battle of the Battle of the Buddha, and from then on, he stayed in Lingshan..."

"Some people also say that the one who became a Buddha was not him at all. The real him had long disappeared on the way to the west and no longer existed..."

"Some people also say that the story of Journey to the West to obtain the scriptures is just a fabrication. There has never been such a thrilling thing, and it is hard to understand the false..."

The old monkey's dim and turbid eyes slowly passed by everyone, with a slight sneer and a slight sigh, and said slowly:

"But you must have never heard of the story I want to tell..."

It has not finished speaking.

Bang-

A broken bowl was smashed to the ground, and pieces splashed everywhere.

Several big and thick vendors stood up and cursed:

"It has been nearly thirty years since Master Xuanzang retrieved the true scriptures. After talking about your story, we have long heard it all. What's there to say! Noisy!"

"Now the Tang Dynasty is fighting everywhere, and people are living in poverty. Who can hear any stories about obtaining scriptures? The Tripitaka Sutra Town is in Chang'an, and there is no good weather. Why don't you get out of here, old monkey!"

"There are many monsters in Chang'an City who cheated money! Since Journey to the West to obtain the scriptures, the emperor has been kind enough to allow some monkey monsters to enter the city. Wouldn't you treat yourself as a monster?"

“Noisy…”

“Go down…”

"Get away..."

Everyone immediately started to make noise, not wanting to hear the old monkey continue.

The old monkey looked embarrassed.

A wealthy man from the world who was eating melon seeds drove the old monkey off the stage, leaned closer and whispered:

"There is a fruit forest not far from this temple. If you go quickly, you may be able to get a lot of fruit to eat. It's better than begging here and getting bored."

"Take it seriously!" The old monkey's eyes shone, grabbed the melon seeds in the hands of the Jianghu Haoke, then lifted up the thorn of his robe, and ran out.

Yuan Kang was stunned throughout the whole process.

Suddenly, he glanced at the corner of his eyes and suddenly saw a "question mark" appearing on the old monkey's head!

The "question mark" appears blue and floats faintly on the old monkey's head.

Yuan Kang immediately made a decision, picked up a tree stick on the ground, and rushed to chase him out.

The old monkey was not fast and stopped shortly after leaving the mountain temple and stopped under an old tree.

It turned around, looked at Yuan Kang who had caught up with him leisurely, and bowed, "Donor, what's the matter?"

Yuan Kang held the tree stick tightly, frowned and looked at the old monkey, and asked in a low voice:

"Who are you?"

“Hmph…”

The old monkey seemed to be smiling, and also looked at Yuan Kang for a few glances, continuing his low and vicissitudes of life and said:

"I have been wandering around Chang'an for many years, and finally waited until someone with the chance to ask this."

It looked at the night sky from afar, and its face showed a complex and unrecognizable look. In its dim and turbid eyes, there was a faint golden light, and its whole expression seemed to be transformed. It said in a deep voice:

"Yes, I'm the Monkey King..."

Yuan Kang was shocked!

"Master Ma Monkey Marshal under the command of the Great Sage of Monkey..."

Yuan Kang:......

"The veins of the descendants of the old ape and husband from the 99th Monkey Barracks under the command of Marshal Mama and Marshal Macaque are also..."

After hearing this, Yuan Kang turned around and left.

"Hey hey!" The old monkey waved and jumped, quickly caught up with him, and said anxiously:

"A person with destiny, listen to me!"

"Don't leave, where are you going?"

Yuan Kang didn't look back and said, "I'll wait for a monkey."

The old monkey scratched his ears and heads, and suddenly walked vigorously, rushed to Yuan Kang to block it, with wrinkles on his face squeezed into a pile of wrinkles:

"You are really my destined person, I won't lie to you!"

Yuan Kang held the tree stick and stared at the blue "question mark" above the old monkey's head. After thinking for a while, he said:

"Why should I believe you?"

"You will know if you are destined or not!" The old monkey's face became serious again. He fumbled in the torn rags for a while, took out a shriveled peach and handed it to Yuan Kang.

Yuan Kang took Taozi and looked at him in confusion.

I don’t know how long the peach has been stored, but it is almost green and moldy.

But at the moment when Yuan Kang came into contact, a line of small words appeared on the back of the peach.
To be continued...
