Chapter 518: I shouldnt expect anything from you(1/2)

Gu Tinglan never expected that the person coming out of the darkness would be Lin Yi.

The person who wanted to kill her was actually someone related to her love affair.

The calamity of love and the calamity of murder both happen to the same person. What kind of fate is this...

However, since it was Ji Yi, she did have a way to resolve the murder.

She still knew a little about Lin Yi. Although he was a bit lustful, he was still a gentleman.

Since he is a gentleman, he should not kill people casually.

"Why do you want to kill me?"

Gu Tinglan asked straight to the point. In such a situation, there was no need to be secretive.

Ji Yi knew that she had a keen sense, and she also knew that Ji Yi was extraordinary.

To be honest, she would rather not know this. The more she knew, the closer death would be to her.

But her little mind just didn't listen. After Ji Yi showed up, her mind was running at high speed.

Ji Yi and she also have no grudges and have had several exchanges before. Even if they are not friends, they are in the same camp.

If there wasn't a reason, how could Lin Yi kill her?

The root of everything lies in the appearance of Lord Lingxi.

It can be seen that Ji Yi's enemy is not her in particular, but the gods.

Because Lin Yi realized that she was the reincarnation of a fairy and had a very high status, he showed his murderous intention.

And why is Ji Yi so hostile to immortals?

The answer is already apparent.

Gu Tinglan's heart skipped a beat. When Lin Yi killed Zen Master Dingguang, she only thought that Lin Yi was a chivalrous man. Now it seems that there is something unusual in this.

She knew too much, so she deliberately asked questions to make herself look cute.

Unfortunately, Ji Yi is not someone who is easily confused. His eyes are sharp and he can see through Gu Tinglan's little thoughts.

She is afraid of death.

It's easier to deal with if you're afraid of death. Only when you have fear can you handle it. Ji Yi plans to deceive her and get some information from her.

Judging from the current situation, Gu Tinglan may be the highest-status immortal he has ever seen.

The venerables who have practiced Taoism for 500,000 years all treat her with respect, which shows that her status is not simple.

He has status but no morals. If this easy-to-handle person doesn't take advantage of the opportunity, will he still be Lin Yi?

Ji Yi looked indifferent, as if he was completely unreasonable, and said: "Answer me first, is there any mystery behind the thing you just gave me?"

Lin Yi didn't know what the relic represented, nor what Gu Tinglan was thinking, but there must be a reason why she behaved strangely.

Since she has a question, it's only fair to ask one herself.

Gu Tinglan curled her lips silently, this man really didn't suffer at all.

But he treated Hua Nianrou without taking any money and was extremely caring. He even came over to see her when passing by Chang'an.

Is she so inferior? Even asking a question requires equal exchange?

Gu Tinglan felt a little unconvinced, but in order to survive, she had to answer.

She was also very skillful in asking this question. Since she asked Ji Yi the reason for killing her, no matter what Lin Yi answered, she would only refute the reason, and Ji Yi would have no reason to kill her...

If she didn't answer, Ji Yi wouldn't answer either, and then she would have no chance to defend herself.

After weighing it up, Gu Tinglan said: "There is no mystery. He took away my supervisory power and made me a little worried about whether something bad would happen. That's all."

Gu Tinglan's answer was very vague.

In fact, she had already guessed what Lord Lingxi was going to do, but she did not dare to tell Ji Yi.

After all, she is not a simple girl who is ignorant of the world. Since Lord Lingxi has received the will of the Buddha, it is naturally difficult for her to interfere in this matter, let alone to destroy it. The Buddha could understand the major events of the world in a single thought.

It is true that He cannot directly intervene in the human world now, but Gu Tinglan will have to go back sooner or later.

You have offended the boss of Buddhism and still want to hang out in Buddhism?

But Lin Yi was a police officer before. Although he has not yet passed his internship period, he has learned a lot of relevant skills.

After traveling through time, he has also seen many people's memories and has very rich experience.

No matter how good Gu Tinglan was at wiping the edges, she couldn't hide this skill from Lin Yi.

He patiently asked: "What is the bad thing you think? Have you made any guesses?"

Gu Tinglan's eyes widened a bit, but they quickly calmed down.

She felt a huge sense of crisis. If she couldn't answer this question well, Lin Yi was afraid that she would stab her to death on the spot.

On one side is Buddha and on the other is Lin Yi, both of whom she cannot afford to offend.

but……

Ji Ji can't be offended in the mortal world, but if she offends Buddha, she will die in the fairy world.

After weighing the pros and cons, Gu Tinglan had to make a decision.

"I wholeheartedly practice cultivation, and external affairs have nothing to do with me."

"Does it really have nothing to do with you? It's fine if you don't know, but you must have guessed that he is going to make a blood sacrifice in exchange for the divine power of the Buddha in the lower world. Am I right?"

Gu Tinglan was speechless. She guessed that Ji Yi had guessed it, but she had no choice.

"I originally thought that you were Lu Yuanhua's disciple, you had never done anything evil in your life, and your intention to kill you was not firm, but now it seems that you are a superior Bodhisattva after all, and you have no mercy for mortals!"

Ji Tinglan's tone was quite disappointing. After hearing this, Gu Tinglan felt very ashamed, but also a little angry.

"You really don't feel pain when you stand and talk. You are not me. How do you know that I don't have mercy in my heart?"

Although Gu Tinglan wanted to live as long as possible, she was not willing to be humiliated like this by Ji Yi.

"If you have compassion, how can you let others do such cruel things but do nothing yourself?"

"Then what can I do! Risk my life to save those people? I am not as noble as you, and I am willing to risk my life for some irrelevant people!"

Gu Tinglan's words were somewhat sarcastic. She felt that Ji Yi was too pushy and made groundless accusations against her from the moral high ground.

Why would she do something when she sees others in trouble?

There is a saying in Confucianism that if you are poor, you can be good for yourself, and if you are powerful, you can help the world. If she opposes the Buddha's decree, it will be like a clay Bodhisattva crossing the river, and she will not be able to protect herself.

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! Why does she have to hook herself up?

Lin Yi listened to Gu Tinglan's confident speech, sighed and shook his head...

"If you are just Gu Tinglan, as long as you don't do bad things, no one can say anything wrong with you. But are you really just Gu Tinglan?

You are a Bodhisattva who is worshiped by others. Do those people really have nothing to do with you? Do you swear that you have never enjoyed a trace of the incense of the world?"

He was neither hysterical nor angry, he just felt pity.

It is impossible to succeed in instigating rebellion, because this person's heart is more about the pros and cons, rather than responsibility and justice.

The sky is full of gods and Buddhas, and there are temples and dojos everywhere. The gods and Buddhas eat the incense offered by humans and search for the luck of the world, but they still regard ordinary people as pigs, dogs and ants.

The blood and souls of mortals are good things. When gods and Buddhas need it, they can swing the butcher's knife at believers. No gods or Buddhas will protect these mortals. These mortals live like cattails and die like pigs.

The gods and Buddhas are aloof from beginning to end, enjoying all the rights and not assuming any obligations.

Is there such a truth in this world?

Why are there discounts on Taoist practices obtained by slaying demons, but not by slaying immortals?

Maybe the reason is simple.

It is their nature for monsters and ghosts to harm people, and it is also because humans and these aliens are enemies to begin with, and they kill each other. Objectively speaking, there is no right or wrong.

But the conflict between man and God is different from this. God enjoys the incense and worship of the human world, but does nothing. Instead, he oppresses the human world. How can the human world not do the opposite?

Why does Lin Yi risk his own life to protect the world?

That's because he knows it's his responsibility.

Maybe the Demon Subduing Book chose him and gave him a new life just to let him do these things.

Without the enhancement of the Demon Subduing Spectrum, he would have died long ago.

Therefore, he cannot just enjoy the benefits brought by the Demon Subduing Spectrum but ignore the obligations it brings.

Those zodiac signs don’t understand this simple truth, and neither does the Bodhisattva in front of me.

According to Lin Yi's logic, Gu Tinglan found that she really had no way to refute.

She said that those people had nothing to do with her. When Lin Yi mentioned the incense offerings, she had indeed enjoyed some of them. However, this was not completely correct.

"I ate a little incense, and now I have to work for others?"

Gu Tinglan felt upset and a little aggrieved.

She couldn't defeat Ji Ji, and she felt that she couldn't be entirely blamed for this. She didn't want to see the world become a river of blood, but what could she do?
