Chapter 7 Lies
Jiang Ling looked at him in a flash, and then said for a while: "I, I, I don't know," she stood up, grabbed the corner of his robe, and said pitifully, "Immortal, you are an immortal, it's useless to keep my dad, return him to me! They all have dads, but I only have mothers, they always laugh at me. Immortal, you can just let my dads go and let me do anything!"
Bai Bing sighed. This girl was too difficult and stubborn.
He thought for a while and said, "I have never met your father. As for why your mother said that, you might as well ask yourself."
Jiang Ling asked: "You said my mother was lying? She wouldn't lie to me! She worked very hard and loved me very much. There was only a little cotton wool at home, and my mother first added new clothes to me. How could she lie to me?"
Bai Bing said: "Adults will lie, for many high-sounding reasons. Your mother is no exception. It is because of your love for you that you will lie and make you feel more comfortable."
Jiang Ling lowered his head and shook his head again, saying, "I don't believe it, why would my mother lie? If I lie to her, she would be sad, punish me to face the wall, and warn me not to lie." She looked up and stared at Bai Bing's eyes and shouted, "Mom won't lie!"
Bai Bing looked at Jiang Ling with a painful expression and felt unbearable.
She is indeed a child, how can she know how complicated the adults are?
He raised his hand and put it on Jiang Ling's head as he wished, stroked it hard, and said in a kind tone: "If you don't believe it, then don't ask. It's better not to know some things."
Jiang Ling suddenly raised his head and stared at Bai Bing, and said fiercely: "I want to know!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Jiang Ling had already turned around and walked towards the lake.
Bai Bing smiled bitterly and looked at her hand, shook her head, and said to her again: "Don't come again."
Jiang Ling stopped and slowly turned around to look at Bai Bing, her eyes showing fierce light, like a furious beast. She snorted, continued to rush forward angrily, drilled through several cracks of rocks, and rushed home quickly.
When Jiang Ling arrived home, he naturally missed the lunch hour.
Jiang's mother thought Jiang Ling had gone somewhere to play and missed lunch, so she scolded her for a few words, so she quickly took out the still warm rice from the pot and let her eat it while it was hot.
Jiang Ling opened her red eyes and shed tears before she could speak.
"Mom, where did Daddy go? Why don't you tell me?"
When Jiang's mother heard this, she shook her body and almost threw the rice bowl on the ground. She put the bowl on the table, sighed, and said slowly: "Your father accidentally entered Jinghu Lake and drowned."
Jiang Ling cried, "No! Daddy has never been to Jinghu at all!"
Jiang's mother turned cold and said, "You don't even believe your mother's words? Who is teaching you to ask these things?"
Jiang Ling cried even harder. She wiped the tears from her face and thrust, "Huxian said that my father had never been there, and no one had been to Jinghu. Why didn't my mother tell me where my father was? Ling'er missed my father, everyone has his father, wuwu, why didn't my mother tell me?"
Jiang's mother was shocked. She thought that some drunk man or a talkative woman had inadvertently revealed the secret, but she didn't expect that Jiang Ling would mention the Lake Fairy!
Jiang's mother quickly pulled Jiang Ling to her side, looked up and down, and found that although Jiang Ling's face was flushed, she was nothing serious. She secretly breathed a sigh of relief and thought that she would ask someone to drive away the evil spirits for Jiang Ling another day.
"Dad is gone, you still have your mother. Don't your mother love you?"
Jiang Ling shook her head and said in a hoarse voice: "Mother loves Ling'er the most, but why did she lie to Ling'er? Where did Daddy go? If Daddy really is gone, Ling'er also wants to go to the grave to worship."
When Jiang's mother heard this, she felt so distressed that she vomited a few tears and said ruthlessly: "Your father is dead, fell into Jinghu and drowned, the bones are gone, there is no grave or tomb. Don't ask again!"
Jiang Ling shouted: "I'm going to ask! I'm going to know!"
Jiang's mother was in tears. She turned her face and sobbed quietly. Jiang Ling still asked relentlessly.
Jiang's mother was forced to death and had to say angrily: "Don't ask again! You are punished not to eat, go to the corner of the wall immediately!"
Jiang Ling was both wronged and angry, and he was reluctant to face the wall and cried loudly to lie to his mother. When the mother and daughter were in a stalemate, suddenly it became dark in front of the door, and Erwa's mother flashed into the door.
"What's wrong? I heard Ling'er crying outside the door."
Jiang's mother looked serene and seemed to be unable to resist. Erwa's mother quickly gave Jiang Ling a wink and told her to go out quickly.
Jiang Ling was angry and looked at Jiang's mother and went straight out of the door. However, as soon as she walked out of the yard, she heard the door closed behind her and whispers rang out in the room.
It’s really strange that Erwa’s mother can have something to close the door?
She quietly turned back and hid under the window to watch the movements in the room.
Erwa's mother's voice came first: "Ling'er is not young anymore, why don't you tell her about her father?"
Hearing Jiang's mother sighing again, she still seemed to cry and said, "I just think he has been drowned in Jinghu, don't mention it again."
Jiang Ling was surprised and happy, and wanted to rush into the house to question his mother immediately, but Erwa's mother said again: "Ling'er is not an easy-to-handle child. How long do you plan to hide it from her?"
It took a long time before Jiang's mother replied: "How long can it be hidden? I thought my father was drowned in the lake, but it was like knowing that my father actually..."
"Jiang Ling, why are you squatting under the window?" Erwa stood at the door of the yard and looked at Jiang Ling in confusion.
Jiang Ling's heart that had already been raised suddenly rushed to her throat. She stood up and ran to the door quickly, and pushed Erwa to the ground without saying a word.
The conversation in the room was also interrupted.
Jiang's mother opened the door and saw Jiang Ling looking at her with a tense face, covering her chest with guilt.
"Where has Dad been?" Jiang Ling shouted angrily.
Jiang's mother panicked and rushed to Jiang Ling and pulled her, wanting to say something and couldn't speak.
Jiang Ling shook her hand away.
"Mom lie!"
She pushed the Erwa who had just stood up and ran out of the house.
Jiang Ling ran while crying.
The weather was very cold, and tears fell on her face and were blown by the wind, which hurt like a knife, but she could no longer care about so much, and she let the tears flow through the wind.
When she was tired of crying and her stomach was roaring, she stopped and looked up and saw that she had arrived at the edge of Jinghu Lake again without knowing it. The strange rock circle was right in front of her.
Seeing Jinghu and thinking of his mother's lies, Jiang Ling felt even more sad.
It turns out that my mother would also lie to her. It turns out that my mother really had to lie to her.
