Chapter 13 Shadow's Calculation

The demon king failed to transform and retained some of the essence in the demon crystal, but Hu Yidao was unable to enjoy it because the energy inside was too domineering. Unless he was a descendant of the demon king or had a cultivation level close to the demon king, he could use the demon crystal. Otherwise, the rash devouring would inevitably lead to a scattered soul. Therefore, over the years, Hu Yidao has been hiding the demon crystal in a secret place, waiting for the day when his cultivation level broke through. Unfortunately, he did not expect that he would be stolen by others first, which made Hu Yidao angry all over the sky.

Since the end of the ancient war, the demon race suffered heavy losses, and the lack of spiritual energy in the world, the reproduction and evolution of the demon race was shackled. Although the human race's cultivation journey was staggering and tortuous, it reproduction was very fast. Now it is the world of the human race. Most of the demon races are hidden in deep mountains, forests or some Jedi, so people rarely find their existence.

Hu Yidao was absolutely lucky to find a demon king who failed to survive the tribulation. He would never allow others to steal the results he had obtained, so he immediately gave up Bai Fan and chased the shadows.

He immediately chose to leave after taking over the demon crystal shadow, but what made him depressed was that Hu Yidao somehow found the direction he escaped and chased after him.

The black shadow thought that the demon crystal had a restriction or divine consciousness left by the other party, but after searching for a long time, he didn't find it. This made him very puzzled.

Because Hu Yidao devoured the blood of the green wolf, he was extremely sensitive to the demon crystal, so he could detect it. Unfortunately, the black shadow didn't know, so he never got rid of Hu Yidao's pursuit.

After chasing and running, the two of them had already run for hundreds of miles. Although they were a little tired, they didn't dare to stay. Bai Fan was chasing him closely behind, and the other party's cultivation was not low, so Bai Fan was chasing him quite hard.

The most common and terrifying thing in the desert is sandstorms. Once you encounter a lost direction, you will also have the danger of being buryed.

In order to completely get rid of Hu Yidao's pursuit, the black shadow broke into the forming sandstorm vortex. Hu Yidao chased in without any hesitation. Bai Fan hesitated for a while but also broke in.

The terrible wind raged, and the gravel blew everywhere, causing a little pain when rubbing on the skin.

He was not breathing smoothly, Bai Fan covered his mouth and nose with the corner of his clothes, and his vision was a little blurred. With some induction, Bai Fan ensured that both parties would not disappear into his perception.

The sandstorm became more and more powerful, and the wind and sand were rolling up overwhelming. Bai Fan had to use internal force to block it, so he was over-consuming before going far.

The wind and sand that was raging in the distance finally showed its manic and terrifying scene. The sand walls dozens of feet high surged, destroying everything that was blocked in front of them.

Bai Fan knew that he needed to avoid it, otherwise he would be buried even if he had a heaven-level cultivation level. After all, the thickness of the sand wall could not be visually measured, and if he blindly resisted, he would only end up with death.

The farewell knife swung out and quickly dug out a deep pit. Bai Fan jumped in, and soon the sandstorm came and buried him.

The terrifying sandstorm lasted for about two hours before gradually getting smaller. Feeling the changes outside, Bai Fan rushed out of the sand and jumped out.

The once undulating sand dunes became clear at a glance, the sun was high at noon, and the sand seemed to be burning.

Bai Fan cleaned up the sand on his body, and his brows frowned from time to time as he swept away.

The pursuit lost its trace, and Bai Fan could not know the ending of the two, so he had to continue searching in the established direction.

"Um?"

A raised sand dune in front attracted Bai Fan's attention. He walked over carefully, and looked like a human figure wherever he looked.

Without getting closer rashly, Bai Fan stared at him for a long time and found that the other party had no breath fluctuations before he approached carefully.

He gently pushed away the buried sand, and the off-white clothes were exposed. Bai Fan's eyes were solemn. He knew that this person was probably Hu Yidao.

But when he continued to investigate, it was a little strange, because Hu Yidao had deformed, his body had not changed, he became a head, and turned into a wolf head.

What's going on? Bai Fan was very puzzled. Could it be that this person has the bloodline of the wolf clan?

Bai Fan was a little surprised by the existence of half-human and half-demon. After all, such existences are rare in this Middle Earth continent, which is dominated by human race. He has some understanding of them, so he was not very shocked, but unexpectedly, Hu Yidao actually had such ability.

The other party's breath was gone, and he had not died for a long time, but his body had turned into a mummy. It was obvious that the person who took action was undoubtedly a black shadow.

I glanced around and found no trace of the shadows. It was obvious that the other party had left.

Hu Yidao's powerful skills were actually removed by the black shadow, which made Bai Fan realize the other party's terror and his vigilance increased again.

A person died like a lamp that went out. Bai Fan planned to bury it again, but at this moment a green light under the other party caught his attention.

Carefully turned it over and checked it. It was a cyan diamond crystal, but at this moment, the dangerous instinctive warning made him retreat involuntarily.

With a loud bang, a terrible explosion occurred. Hu Yidao's body spread out in pieces, and Bai Fan was overturned and smashed into the sand dune more than ten meters away by the terrible shock wave.

A deep pit about a foot long was left in the center of the explosion, with sand rolling, and a figure appeared not far away. He walked across the pit and rushed towards Bai Fan's falling in the black robe.

He grabbed a big knife in his hand and suddenly slashed at Bai Fan who seemed unconscious.

A clanging sound rang out. Although Bai Fan suffered a severe injury, he did not lose the power of counterattack. He farewell to the knife and blocked the opponent's fatal knife.

The blow failed, and the black shadow repeatedly fired his sword, killing his life, Bai Fan was exhausted and had many scars on his body.

During a few breaths, the other party had already swung hundreds of swords, but he still did not take Bai Fan's life. However, he vomited blood for no reason and had to distance himself.

Bai Fan said goodbye to support the ground with his sword to prevent himself from falling down. Obviously, the obstacle just now made him over-expend and almost unsteady. Fortunately, the black shadow did not seem to have much power to continue to take action, and it should have been that he suffered a severe blow in the battle with Hu Yidao.

Staring at Bai Fan, the hoarse voice of the black shadow came, "It's true that you can survive if you make such a plan. I underestimate you, but you won't be so lucky next time!"

The black shadow left, Bai Fan held his body until the other person's figure disappeared before vomiting blood and falling to the ground. "The reincarnated people seem to be not easy, and they need to be extremely careful to deal with them."

After this battle, Bai Fan put away his underestimation. He knew that he was careless and completely lost the vigilance that the killer should have, which made him fall into danger.

Bai Fan didn't know what was exploded, but the terrifying energy emitted inside was really terrifying. If he hadn't dodged in time, he would have been in danger.

The black shadow left, and he was really depressed. He finally killed Hu Yidao, but he also suffered heavy damage. Although he swallowed Hu Yidao a lot of life, he did not fully recover. The main reason was that he did not expect Hu Yidao to summon the demon crystal to turn into a werewolf, so he paid a heavy price to kill him.

I originally planned to leave, but Bai Fan's appearance made him realize the danger. If he dragged his injuries, he would not be able to catch up with him, so he planned to get rid of Bai Fan.

Although Hu Yidao used some of the power of the demon crystal, it still remained, so he planned to use the demon crystal's explosion to kill Bai Fan.

His idea is good. After all, it is the demon king's demon crystal. Once the energy inside explodes, it is definitely possible to succeed. Unfortunately, Bai Fan's killer's instinctive warning allowed him to escape.

The next attack did not remove the opponent, and the black shadow knew that there was no hope. If he took action at all costs, he would definitely be able to kill the opponent, but he probably couldn't survive, so he decisively chose to retreat.

Bai Fan did not relax his vigilance, and healed his wounds while paying attention. He did not breathe a sigh of relief until nightfall.

This trip is extremely dangerous, but fortunately my life should not be lost. Since that is the case, it is time for me to fight back.

After resting for a night, Bai Fan's health improved a lot, but the lack of water was a little severe, so he became a little dazed and dizzy.

Hunger and thirst aggravated Bai Fan's injuries, so he recovered very slowly. The sandstorm made Bai Fan lose his direction. Although he used the sun to distinguish the correct direction, he walked for a whole morning without finding any information, and the hunger and thirst were even worse.

Gradually, Bai Fan was exhausted, and the severe lack of water made him depressed and gradually became hallucinated.

It was a huge oasis, in which countless familiar people waved to him, and he ran forward, staggered and fell to the ground, and the phantom in front disappeared, and he realized how bad his condition was.

"Can my great killer die of thirst here?"

Bai Fan smiled with a self-deprecating smile, and suddenly a camel caravan appeared in the field of view not far ahead. Bai Fan rubbed his eyes and was sure it was not an illusion. He shouted loudly and waved his hand at the other party, but the sudden wind and sand blocked the view between the two parties. In the end, the camel caravan left, and Bai Fan's hope of help turned into anger that blamed the sky.

Although the Xiliang Desert is known as the forbidden area for death, it is not said to be absolutely deserted. Oasis each creates the cradle of life, and it also provides important survival guarantees for past business travelers.

Why are there business trips in the desolate desert? Who are they doing business with whom they are doing business with? Of course, they are exiled sinners.

Legend has it that in ancient times, descendants of the dark magical powers were exiled to the barbarian lands of all directions and were not allowed to step into the Middle Earth, otherwise they would be killed without mercy.

In the early years, the sin clan had no connection with the Middle-Turkish people because of the existence of the forbidden zone. Until recently, the world changed strangely and the forbidden zone had a way of life, so there was a trade exchange. However, even the exiled sin clan was not allowed to enter Middle-Turkish. In order to monitor them, the human clan established outpost passes on the way to prevent them from passing.
