465 Cooperation Proposals

Tear.

When I opened the door, the cool air mixed with dampness and chilly came to my face. My breathing was instantly frozen, and my hair stood together. However, I didn’t have time to shout out the complaints and exclamations, and I was shocked by the quiet and magnificent lake and mountains in front of me. Bathed in the gorgeous sunshine, I looked along the sparkling lake surface and towards the clear sky. The sparse clouds rolled and unfolded the whole world in front of me.

"God."

This is the only thought in Griffin's mind and the only words that blurt out. Any gorgeous words seem pale and powerless, such a clean and pure color, from blue to white to black, and it spreads out in a thick and colorful way, and every stroke is natural.

It's amazing.

Griffin turned his head to look at Lu Yiqi, with a look of surprise in his eyes. Finally, he raised his hand and pounded Lu Yiqi's shoulder, and his smile bloomed.

"I thought you were suffering in a remote mountain village, but I didn't expect that you would enjoy vacation treatment every day and night, which is something that New York would absolutely unimaginable. Wow, I think half of the people on Wall Street are not as free as you."

Griffin's sighs and praise did not make Lu Yiqi happy. On the contrary, such a self-deprecating attitude was definitely not the Griffin he was familiar with.

Lu Yiqi raised his eyebrows, "Everyone has his own pursuit, there is no difference between right and wrong. In the final analysis, it is better to feel his heartbeat with his right hand and pursue what he expects. New York has the most prosperous and noisiest scenery in the world, which is also an incomparable unique one."

"Man, this is not like you." Lu Yiqi and Griffin sat down in the rattan chairs in the corridor, pulled out two bottles of beer from the side, opened it, and handed a bottle to Griffin, "What happened in New York?"

Griffin took the beer and poured a big mouth into his mouth. The cold and pissed beer rolled in his stomach, his muscles contracted and tensed, and his brain suddenly woke up, "A bunch of bad things. You know, those bad things about the Wall Street suit bastards, our job is to wear suits to cover up the fact that we are beasts, but forget to wipe off the hair and blood left by his mouth, and then pretend that we are still alone."

The self-deprecating and self-deprecating with full firepower, the bitterness and anger in the words are still lingering.

"When we were young, we always liked to persevere and resist; but when we grew up, we had to learn to compromise and give in. Maybe this is the true meaning of life. But..." Lu Yiqi raised a shallow curve on the corner of his mouth, paused for a moment, and extended the ending sound, "I don't care about it."

Griffin laughed in silence, "So, I guess, you and Ted Thompson are very, very happy."

This is obviously irony.

"Ha. Ha." Lu Yiqi smiled dryly and said ignoring.

Griffin turned his head and looked at the mirror-like lake in front of him, "You made a special call to me. You probably didn't want me to come to Green Bay to retire, right?"

"Ouch." Lu Yiqi burst into pain - isn't this complaining that he is retired in Green Bay?

Griffin burst into laughter.

Lu Yiqi did not continue to joke anymore, and returned to the topic, "I need an agent, to be precise, I need to set up an agency."

Griffin raised his eyebrows gently, but he did not rush to express his opinions, but listened carefully.

"You should know that the agent of a rugby player is a very long-term job. If you can dig uncarved jade in the university arena, then only one player is enough to make a agent earn millions of dollars; not to mention that veterans in the league who have been around for many years are still like mines, with many diamonds waiting for a second excavation."

A simple word, but the amount of information is quite large.

Griffin chewed carefully and repeatedly, the fatigue and laziness in his eyes had disappeared, replaced by a shrewd and wise focus.

Lu Yiqi did not disturb Griffin, but asked him to think slowly.

"Are you sure this will not violate the league rules. I mean, you are the head coach, but you are the player transfer privately?" Griffin immediately realized the true meaning behind Lu Yiqi. His slightly narrowed eyes were like an old fox, and he smelled an unusual breath.

Lu Yiqi chuckled, "If I really did do this, it would indeed violate the alliance regulations; but the key is that I would not do this."

"I am a head coach, and I am just a head coach. My agent happens to be a well-known guy. He has a large number of outstanding players. So, my agent persuades these players to transfer to my team. This is a normal use of reasonable connections and will not violate any regulations."

"More importantly, this is the NFL. There are too many restrictions on player transfers. The existence of a hard salary cap also prohibits the possibility of top-notch players like the NBA from transferring in groups. Even if my agent has big-name players in the entire offensive group, he has no way to transfer everyone to one team."

Obviously, Lu Yiqi has long thought about these possibilities, and he will never be involved in the brokerage business. This is also the fundamental reason why he needs a truly trustworthy broker.

If it weren't for Griffin, Lu Yiqi might not have planned so, because he could not find other trustworthy partners for the time being.

Griffin filtered Lu Yiqi's words carefully in his mind, and then realized the operability of things. The sight that fell on Lu Yiqi became interesting, "Is Archie really sitting in front of me? Why do I feel like I'm back on Wall Street?"

This is a complaint that Lu Yiqi has also become cunning.

"That's natural, I learned from the master." Lu Yiqi turned to look at Griffin.

Griffin laughed happily.

After a pause, Griffin sorted out his thoughts, "First, you need me to become your agent, manage business endorsements and investment management for you; secondly, we need to set up an agency, and then I go to different university teams and different league teams to find potential partners and sign brokerage contracts. Is that true?"

"You need to set up an agency, not us. Of course, in terms of startup capital, I am your strongest backing." Lu Yiqi corrected a small grammatical problem in his speech, "The other parts are correct."

Investment and management, digital and business, connections and business are indeed Griffin's strengths.

But there is another small difference here. On Wall Street, they rely on information, analysis and prediction to make a living. So, what should be done in a professional league?

"What is our source? Is it reliable?" Griffin asked the most essential, most critical and most important question:

Hunt for gold in the waves, so what do they rely on to distinguish gold?
