263 Jubilant Ocean

On January 7, 2008, the final final match of the 2007 season, officially kicked off at the Super Dome Stadium in New Orleans.

This stadium is the home court of the NFL professional team New Orleans Saints. After the attack of Category 5 Hurricane Katrina in 2005, New Orleans became an empty city. However, the Saints still chose to stick to New Orleans. This move not only won the support and cheers of Louisiana, but also truly became an effective driving force for the reconstruction of New Orleans. This city hurt by the hurricane is revitalizing new vitality bit by bit.

Among them, the Super Dome Stadium is part of a new vitality.

This stadium with 60,000 seats has always been the world's largest indoor dome stadium since its establishment. It was hit by a hurricane last year and was renovated and expanded. It can now accommodate 72,000 spectators and is still the most important indoor dome stadium in the world.

Since 1978, Louisiana Super Dome Stadium has held six Super Bowls - the highest honor of the NFL. It is also the venue with the most Super Bowls held by the league. This season, the NCAA will arrange the National Championship Game in this venue, which shows their importance and confidence.

You know, it is definitely not easy to attract more than 70,000 spectators to New Orleans to watch the game.

But for Nathan Field, Heath Alexander, Hannah Spencer and others, this was a decision without hesitation.

It is winter vacation and schools don’t need to attend classes. After Christmas and New Year’s Day, students are temporarily in the window period to let themselves go. There is no need to hesitate to go to New Orleans. They drive their own cars, take a road trip, and head towards the Super Dome Stadium. It’s so simple.

“Wow.”

When I arrived at the stadium, my sighing sounds involuntarily overflowed from my mouth. The unprecedented grand occasion in front of me made my eyes unaware of where I should stay.

In terms of the number of visitors, the gap between the Super Dome Stadium and the Bill Schneider Family Stadium is only 20,000, which seems not an outrageous number. At least the two are still on the same level, and they are not as far away as the Rose Bowl, which can accommodate 100,000 people.

However, only when you are on the scene can you know that the number of people is only one aspect, and the enthusiasm for watching the game is another aspect, and the atmosphere on the scene is completely different.

"Champion! Champion! We are champions!"

"Wildcats! Go! Wildcats! Go!"

"Come on! Oak! Come on! Oak!"

The bustling cheers continued to rush over the eardrums, and fans could be seen cheering in every corner of their sight. The figures of the Ohio State Oaks red jersey and the Kansas State Wildcats purple jersey were intertwined between the white away jerseys, woven into a colorful and gorgeous silk, surging under the blue sky, which was breathtaking.

Field felt that his eyes were not enough, and the overwhelming scene made him scan greedily and excitedly. In addition to the Wildcats and Oaks fans, he could also see countless other fans dressed up at the party feast, comparable to the carnival.

The blood couldn't help but boil. Although Field had already imagined the scene countless times before arriving in New Orleans, the reality was still far beyond imagination. Even passers-by who had no interest in rugby could not refuse this party that would be full of fun.

Not far away, Field saw a group of fans wearing purple jerseys gathering together, and people continued to leave and join in and out, looking in and out was very lively. Field's eyes fell on them, looked at them for a while, and then he realized, "Heath, they are drawing face oil paint, let's go there together!"

The fans are drawing facial oil paint for other friends for free; and, even though they are Wildcats fans, they will not refuse Oaks fans. They joke with each other while drawing oil paint for opponent fans, and when they turn around and leave, they will also say harsh words to each other:

“See you on the court.”

The happy and tit-for-tat atmosphere was so wonderful that Field wanted to join in immediately, and pulled Heath and rushed over.

Hulala!

"Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

A group of fans wearing white jerseys raised their support sticks high, hitting their hands and running with their legs. The cheerful and cheering shouts surged in the wind. They accidentally hit Field, turned around and apologized with a smile, and continued to run forward.

Obviously, Field was not the only one. The tornado's "Champion Parade" stumbled and opened the road, whizzing forward. The other fans next to him made way aside, and inadvertently cleared out a road, waiting for them to pass, and then closed again.

Jerry Crosso was also one of them. Following the eyes of everyone, watching the tornado go away. Then the crowd gathered again like a tide, surrounding Crosso's chubby body. The sound of chattering discussions came from his ears, which really opened his eyes.

As a bus driver, Crosso has to stick behind his steering wheel all year round, and he has almost no chance to go to the Bill Schneider family stadium to watch the ball.

But this time it was different. The Wildcats entered the National Championship. It was the first time in the team's history. Crosso felt that he could not miss it.

So, Crosso asked for leave from the company for the first time in more than 20 years.

Unexpectedly, the entire bus company gave Croso an applause. Not only did they easily get the leave from their boss, but all their colleagues also raised funds to buy a ticket for Croso, hoping that Croso could truly enjoy a holiday.

"Come back with the championship and memories."

The colleagues said with a smile, sending Croso onto the bus to New Orleans, so Croso's footsteps appeared here.

Truthfully, Crosso is enjoying the atmosphere on site.

On the right hand side, a group of young men were singing loudly, and the lyrics seemed to contain words like "We are champions"; on the front side of the left, you could vaguely see the cheering card raised high, "Noah-Lu, I love you, please marry me", but I don't know who raised it.

A uniform sound of support can be heard from a distance from the front. When you get closer, you can see that the cheerleaders are performing live; just as the steps stop, a burst of laughter burst out from behind. When you turn around, you can see a fan dressed as a "Superman" showing his muscles.

With one step at a time, Croso was completely immersed in this sea of jubilation. This was the ultimate decisive battle, but outside the game, there were things that surpassed the winner and the loss. Everything was just because of love and football, which brought all these strangers together.
