Chapter 3 Sit up(2/2)

A cat meow came from outside my aunt's studio, and the black cat "Pall" poked his head, seemingly looking at the situation inside with curiosity.

Karen put his hands on the ground and tried to stand up, but suddenly felt his face hurt, and then there was a surge of heat in his nose, and blood dripped out.

"I...I just patted you to wake you up." Aunt Mary explained.

This is called...paipa?

But what could Karen say? He could only continue:

"Thank you, Auntie."

"Go up and have a rest. Call Mina to clean up for you. You are no longer needed here."

How dare Aunt Mary continue to let her eldest nephew stay here.

Karen nodded, stood up, and looked at Jeff lying on the stretcher. He instinctively felt that his previous sudden dream was related to the corpse, so he let his aunt stay here to work alone.

Will she also be in danger?

At this time,

Cousin Lunt’s shout came from the basement revolving door:

"Mom, grandpa is back."

Grandpa is the absolute head of the family in the Immelais family. Under normal circumstances, when he comes home, everyone in the family, especially women, have to come to greet him, even if... you are working.

Lunt ran over. He also saw the body on the stretcher, but he was not afraid.

Any scary thing, after it comes in and out of your home frequently, you will feel that it is nothing.

"Lunt, take your brother to your sister to use the medicine box to stop the bleeding." Mary ordered.

She was worried that she wouldn't break Karen's nose when she slapped her just now. If the nosebleed was not treated, it might not stop.

"Oh, okay, mom, brother, come."

Karen raised her head, covered her nose with one hand, and walked out with her other hand led by Lunt. When she passed the turning point, she felt someone standing in front of her.

The figure of that man was not very majestic, but standing there gave people a very "stable" feeling, as if he could handle anything easily.

Karen's restless mood suddenly relaxed a lot at this time.

"Grandpa," Lunt shouted.

"Grandpa." Karen also shouted.

In his memory, his grandfather Dis Immelais was a very serious person, but he often had a tender side towards his "eldest grandson".

"Um."

Dis nodded and walked down without saying anything or commenting on Karen's nose.

Lunt seemed a little afraid of his grandfather, so he quickly took his brother's hand and went to the second floor to find his sister.

The lights in the basement are a little dim.

When Dis walked down, he happened to see the black cat "Pall" walking elegantly in front of him.

Dis stopped,

The black cat also stopped.

"Are you very free today?" Dis asked.

"Meow……"

The black cat Pall wagged his tail and tilted his head, as if he didn't understand what Dis said.

Dis waved his hand, seemingly not interested in talking to a cat anymore, and went straight to the studio of his daughter-in-law Mary.

Mary was sitting there lighting a cigarette. She had been a little frightened because of her nephew's condition, but she didn't expect her father-in-law to come over so soon. She was so frightened that she immediately put out the cigarette she had just lit;

The smoke that was supposed to be expelled from the nostrils just overflowed a little, and then it was sucked back and swallowed.

"Cough cough...cough cough..."

Mary coughed and choked with tears.

Dis didn't pay much attention to the daughter-in-law, but first set his sights on Jeff. He stretched out his hand, opened Jeff's eyelids, and put his palm on Jeff's chest;

Immediately, Dis's eyes narrowed slightly.

Immediately afterwards,

He took another step back, seeming to be sizing up the environment in the studio and sniffing.

Mary immediately said:

"I will never smoke in the studio again, never again..."

Mary was really afraid of this father-in-law, not just because the couple was now "living under someone else's roof", but simply because her father-in-law himself was a... inexplicably scary person, even though he was still a kind priest at Mink Street Church.

Dis waved his hand,

asked:

"What just happened?"

"I... Karen suddenly fainted. I broke his nose in order to wake him up. I..."

"Karen passed out?"

"Yes...yes."

"Then Pall came in, didn't he?"

"Pall?" Mary was stunned for a moment before she realized that this was the name of the black cat at home. She had never figured out why her father-in-law gave the cat such an unpleasant and difficult-to-pronounce name.

"It seems...I..." Mary recalled as best she could, "it was Karen who woke up on her own, Pall, Pall, it didn't come in."

Mary did not pay attention to whether the black cat was outside the studio earlier, but she was sure that the black cat did not appear in front of her, at least, it did not come in.

"No?" Dis seemed to be pondering, "Karen, did you wake up by yourself?"

"Yes, father."

"Where did he die?"

"This is a welfare bill. Father, he probably froze to death on the roadside last night."

"Welfare bill? Call your man back."

"Mason has gone to Huashuiwan Nursing Home..."

"Call back."

"Yes, I understand, father."

Even though she has lived in this family for a long time, Mary still feels a kind of pressure when facing her father-in-law. Many daughters-in-law from other families call her parents-in-law by their first names, but she would never dare.

The title "Father" already has some religious connotations for her.

The daughter-in-law left the studio in a panic,

Dis reached out and closed the door,

Then he walked to the stretcher truck, sat down on the chair where Mary had been sitting, and looked at Jeff lying in front of him.

In the studio, it became quiet, except for the light bulb that occasionally changed its brightness slightly due to voltage.

Dis reached forward,

Hold it empty in front of you,

from under his feet,

Black shadows began to spread out, like wildly growing vines, and immediately spread all over the tiles and surrounding walls, "wrapping" everything here;

At this time,

Dis opened his mouth and said:

"Tell me how you died."

It was a ridiculous scene, he was actually asking a dead man a question.

But then, an even more ridiculous scene appeared:

Jeff, who had long been dead while lying on the stretcher, slowly sat up on his own...

This "awakening" plot is based on my real experience. It's not a joke. If you have the same problem, you can learn "The Internationale".

The original plan was to publish the book at noon, but I couldn't resist the urge to update it, so I posted it just after midnight, so I gave three hours' notice. As a result, many relatives stayed up late to accompany me to publish the book at midnight.

.

Very touched.

As an author, this is a great happiness and recognition.

A new journey has begun, and I will try my best to write this story with all my writing skills and sincerity.
