Chapter 24 Discuss the Tao with the Son, Heaven, Earth and Stars(2/2)

The great road is invisible, giving birth to the world. The great road is ruthless, moving the sun and the moon. The great road is nameless, nourishing all things...

How can the king control it?

There is a saying in Buddhism: "All appearances are false."

Even if the Dharma can be seen and touched, it is false, just like it cannot be said, because as long as the truth can be said, there will be ten people's understanding and different truths.

The same is true for the Tao. The visible Tao, I think, is not the great road between heaven and earth. Therefore, if the king wants to destroy it with one hand, it is better to follow his will.

Quietly, Li Xiuyuan briefly explained to the Master the way of heaven and earth and the way of Buddhism that he had learned since his practice.

The master was shocked when he heard this. It seemed to him that the wine shopkeeper in front of him had clearly grasped the principles of Taoism.

He couldn't help but nodded and said: "Heaven and earth are unkind and regard all things as stupid dogs. The saints are unkind and regard the common people as stupid dogs... It is better to stay in the center than to say too much and to be poor."

Li Xiuyuan looked at the Master quietly, took a deep breath, and said: "In this way, even after thousands of years, the Tao is still the Tao, and the law is still the law, but the king may not be the king of the past."

The Master looked at Li Xiuyuan, who was making tea at the table, and looked at him in silence for a long time.

He lowered his head and thought hard, thinking about the uneasy feeling in his heart and gradually calmed down.

For a moment, he couldn't help laughing and said: "Is it better to be one way or another? How can the sun, moon and stars be controlled by a mere king?"
