Chapter 22 Unkind Invitation

The child who ran over first was, of course, Kudo Shinichi.

Mao Lilan hesitated for a moment, then followed him and lay down at the end of the bed.

The last time they met, Hinata met Mao Lilan unilaterally. The other party was half-lying on the car window drowsily and didn't see him at all, so the look he was looking at now was also strange.

It's the kind of small animal that sees the same type of furry and wants to get closer, but is also a little worried about being rejected, so it tentatively looks at it with its eyes to judge what kind of furry it is.

Finally, it was Kudo Yusaku who closed the door.

Hinata withdrew her eyes reasonably and politely, preventing her eyes from being glued to the soft little horn on Mao Lilan's head.

He glanced around the ward and discovered a fatal problem: he couldn't entertain people.

There was only one chair in the ward, and it was the same chair that Matsuda Jinpei was sitting on before. Hinata reasonably estimated that it was moved by him from other places.

So now, there are three people present, but there is only one chair, what should we do?

Reality is not a math problem about dividing apples. The next moment he realized this problem, Hinata said reasonably: "I'm sorry, the ward is a bit rough... If you don't mind, just sit on the bed first."

As he spoke, he glanced at the end of the bed with his peripheral vision and found that the soft little horn was still there, but Kudo Shinichi next to him was no longer there.

Um?

Hinata immediately raised her vigilance and glanced around the room again.

Then the next second, Kudo Shinichi, who suddenly disappeared, crawled out from under the bed, holding a familiar infusion bottle in his hand.

It was replaced by Matsuda Jinpei before, and was placed under the head of the bed, lined up with other infusion bottles waiting to be opened.

Kudo Shinichi carefully observed the infusion bottle and said strangely: "What liquid is Brother Hinata infusing? It's so strange that there is no label on the bottle."

A normal infusion bottle will have a piece of paper attached to it, and various information will be marked on the paper, such as the composition of the liquid in the bottle.

But the empty bottle Kudo Shinichi got had a pure white sticker with only one line of fancy words on it.

When Kudo Shinichi looked over at first glance, he only saw the pattern of the font.

The second glance, the third glance, the fourth glance... Is this a description of the liquid ingredients or a signature?

Or is it some kind of Martian writing? Can humans really understand this kind of writing?!

"Shinichi." Kudo Yusaku shook his head helplessly, "Sorry, Shinichi is too active."

Hinata nodded reasonably and indifferently, and said casually: "It's normal for children to be more active."

Only the moment Kudo Shinichi poked his head out from under the bed, he was surprised and felt guilty for a moment.

But considering that there was no criminal evidence under the bed, and there was nothing else that couldn't be shown to the detective, he quickly became convinced.

Not only was he confident, but he also wanted to look at the bottle in Kudo Shinichi's hand to see what he found.

After a simple apology, Kudo Yusaku observed Hinata's reasonable expression and smiled: "Shinichi, can you help me pass the gift box to Hinata's brother?"

Kudo Shinichi turned back blankly, "Huh? Oh, oh, okay."

Compared to a ten-year-old child, the bottle was a bit big and difficult to hold with one hand. The little detective struggled for a while.

Hinata stretched out her hand when it was reasonable and gave her considerate choice, "Shall I get it for you?"

Kudo Shinichi, who was already tangled, was even more tangled, but he made a decision immediately after struggling for a few seconds. He held the bottle in both hands and handed it to Hinata, "Okay."

Then he quickly ran to Kudo Yusaku and took the square gift box handed to him.

After getting the bottle, Hinata lowered her head to read the string of words on the bottle.

After just one glance, he fell silent.

Damn it, it's not that Kudo Shinichi can't recognize the string of words because he's still young, but there's something really wrong with this string of characters. They are connected end to end, like a series of randomly drawn circles.

"Patients suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning normally need to be infused with drugs such as mannitol and glucose." Kudo Shinichi came back holding the gift box, "But this bottle shouldn't say anything like this, right?"

Thinking about it carefully, when changing the infusion bottle, Matsuda Jinpei said that the liquid in the finished infusion bottle was glucose.

Thinking like this, Hinata reasonably said: "The one in this bottle should be glucose, as the police officer who changed my infusion bottle said."

He took the gift box smoothly, and it felt heavy as soon as he took it. He couldn't hold it with one hand. No wonder the child needed to use two hands to hold it.

"Is it actually glucose..." Kudo Shinichi was obviously deep in thought.

Kudo Yusaku glanced at his son and said with a helpless smile: "Because it is an impromptu visit, I am not fully prepared. I am very sorry."

He showed a somewhat solemn look, and carefully considered his solemn tone, "I've come here to visit you many times, but it's actually an impolite request."

Isn't it because you know the Hinata couple?

Hinata glanced at him in surprise, and immediately realized that the other party was not because of friendship, but because of something, which was actually a good thing.

At least once the matter you want to request is resolved, the two parties can have a good relationship.

So he immediately asked: "Excuse me, what is it?"

"I heard about Mrs. Hinata from a police officer I know well, because the matter is quite suspicious," Kudo Yusaku paused when he said this.

Seeing that Hinata didn't have a big reaction, he was just a little surprised, and then he continued, "So I want to ask for your opinion... Please don't get me wrong, it's not a rude behavior like autopsy, but a visit. Absolutely

It will not harm Mrs. Hinata’s body.”

Kudo Yusaku didn't say clearly what he wanted to request. Only when he reached the second half of the sentence did Hinata realize that the other party wanted to observe Mrs. Hinata's body.

Probably a certain police officer felt that there was something wrong with Mrs. Hinata's case, but he couldn't figure it out, so he asked Yuzu Kudo to come forward.

In this country, many family members are indeed unwilling to accept the autopsy of a body, so Kudo Yusaku specifically stated that he would only take a look at it and would never dissect it.

So, should you agree?

Hinata was legitimately lost in thought.

Personally speaking, he actually had no feelings for Mrs. Hinata. When he found out that there might be doubts about the cause of her death, he was just surprised and said, "Can there be doubts about this?!"

If you agree, it doesn't matter, it really has nothing to do with him anyway. Even if Kudo Yusaku detects something, the murderer will definitely not be him, he will only be the victim.

If you don't agree, it doesn't matter. Judging from Kudo Yusaku's expression, the other party probably didn't come with much hope. Even if he refuses, it is very reasonable.

It didn't matter whether it was left or right, Hinata was a little embarrassed because it was reasonable.
