Chapter 17(1/2)

The final exam was not long after the class division was completed. Class 3 and Class 6 were just upstairs and downstairs. Ji Qinyang could walk in advance almost every day, and then went around to the second floor to wait for Xie Meng.

Zhuo Xiaoyuan got used to it after seeing it many times. Once he couldn't help but complain: "You are really old husband and wife, don't you get tired of doing this every day?"

The final exam took three days, the first day was Chinese and mathematics, Ji Qinyang handed in the morning, and he leaned against the wall at the door of Class 3 with his head held on his head.

Zhuo Xiaoyuan looked very disgusted when he saw him.

"I won't wait for you again." Ji Qinyang hung his headphones around his neck. He looked at Xie Meng out. The boy was wearing a white down jacket with handsome eyebrows and bright eyes.

"How was the exam?" Xie Meng smiled and rubbed Ji Qinyang's backside of the head.

Ji Qinyang raised his eyebrows: "Didn't this say that you can't ask the poor students?"

Xie Meng looked at him: "It seems you are talking about."

"That's it." Ji Qinyang lazily lay on Xie Meng's back: "You don't know if I'm so bad at math."

Ji Qinyang was riding a bicycle, Xie Meng sat in the back seat and drank hot milk. When the traffic light stopped, Ji Qinyang looked back at him.

"Try it for me."

Xie Meng stood up and put the tube close to his mouth.

Ji Qinyang took a sip with him: "Isn't it sweet?"

"Original flavor." Xie Meng smiled, and he suddenly lowered his head and kissed Ji Qinyang's lips: "Add some sugar for you."

Zhang Xiujuan was basking in the sun in the yard. When she saw Xie Meng coming back, she opened her eyes: "Xiao Ji is here too."

Ji Qinyang called out a good woman, and Zhang Xiujuan replied with a smile: "Good grandson."

Xie Meng went into the house to help the old lady take out the radio and find another blanket.

"Don't dry outside for too long." Xie Meng helped Zhang Xiujuan cover her legs: "Call me if it's cold."

Zhang Xiujuan has become much worse now. She went to the hospital for a check-up and had a check-up. The doctor only said that she was old but had no specific symptoms.

In his eighties, he is old.

Xie Meng didn't dare to think too much, but just stayed with her as much as possible.

Ji Qinyang had dinner before leaving. Xie Meng took him to the entrance of the alley. The two walked side by side for a while and then took their hands.

Xie Meng's palm was wet and warm. At first, he just held it normally. At the back, Ji Qinyang's fingers were buckled with him. It hurts if he grabbed it too tightly, but no one let go.

Ji Qinyang stopped at the entrance of the alley: "You go back."

Xie Meng nodded, but his hand was still pulling.

"Don't throw away the recommendation letters from the midrange." Xie Meng suddenly said: "If you can pass the exam, it would be a pity not to go."

Ji Qinyang didn't say anything. He looked at Xie Meng and pulled the person into his arms with a little force.

The three-day exam was over, and the results ranking was announced. There were a few more papers on winter vacation homework. It was late during the Chinese New Year, and Zhang Ganggang complained about this for many days.

"Only children like to celebrate the New Year." Qi Fei deposed him: "How old do you think you are."

Zhang Ganggang was dissatisfied: "There are red envelopes before getting married, so what's wrong with the New Year."

Qi Fei had no red envelopes a few years ago. Not only did he not have red envelopes, he also had to take care of his children during the holidays, so he was completely uninterested in the New Year.

On the other hand, Zhuo Xiaoyuan and Xie Meng could not understand the troubles of too many family members. The former parents were both working outside, and Zhuo Jinjin had been ill for so many years, and it was really delayed for a year. Every day Zhuo Xiaoyuan cherished it as much as the ones he had stolen.

"How are you doing recently?" Ji Qinyang asked.

Zhuo Xiaoyuan: "I went to the hospital a few days before the exam. I recently went home. I should be able to spend the Chinese New Year at home."

Xie Meng patted his shoulder with encouragement.

"How is your grandma?" Zhuo Xiaoyuan asked him.

Xie Meng said calmly: "It's still the same."

Zhuo Xiaoyuan nodded, he smiled, his eyes looked full of ruffian: "It's not troublesome to celebrate the New Year when there are few people, there are not many things, so there is no need to bother."

A few people communicated, but only Ji Qinyang might go abroad for the New Year.

"It's not decided yet." Ji Qinyang sat in Xie Meng's seat, smiling casually: "My mother wants to go out, I don't care."

Qi Fei joked: "Your mom and your dad are simply fairy couples, you are just a redundant one."

Ji Qinyang was not angry either: "Yes, so I don't want to go out either. I don't know what they are doing."

"Then come to my house for the New Year." Zhang Ganggang is always a type that is not annoying: "How many times did my mother ask me to take my friends back? None of you give me face..."

Ji Qinyang glanced at Xie Meng and smiled and said, "Let's talk about it, I won't live alone anyway."

It snowed before the Chinese New Year. When Xie Meng woke up in the morning, he found that the yard was white. He sighed and went back to his room to put on a cotton coat to do boxing.

Zhang Xiujuan stood under the eaves holding the soup, watching her grandson fist while talking to him.

"Wait until you go to the vegetable market and you have to kill a chicken."

Xie Meng pressed down his front legs, and as he turned flowing, the snow on the ground was swept up a thin layer: "What else?"

Zhang Xiujuan rambled: "Buy cakes, buy noodles, buy noodles... and buy some fried snacks, and there are sugar, don't forget."

Xie Meng's palm wind is turned outward, soft and hard: "There are no customers, so there is no need to waste money for roasted goods or anything."

Zhang Xiujuan: "Why are there no customers? What if Xiao Ji comes to visit?"

"..." Xie Meng stopped the situation. He wanted to explain to the old lady that the other party might have gone abroad for travel, but in the end he gave up and went back to the house to get the money: "I'll buy it, don't bask in the sun when it's cold outside."

There are not many people in the vegetable market, and many people have returned home during the Chinese New Year. They thanked Mumbai for chicken and went to find a roasted shop. They took some melon seeds, hawthorns, and jerky pork. When they went back, they even bought a portion of stinky tofu on the bridge.

"Happy New Year." The vendor selling stinky tofu said happily.

Xie Meng took the bowl and gave the money: "Happy New Year." He said.

The gate of the courtyard was not closed. Xie Mengzheng felt strange and saw a familiar bicycle parked next to him. Ji Qinyang rolled up his sleeves and came out from inside. He saw him smiling lazily.

"I've bought it." The boy walked up and took the things in his hand naturally. He also opened it and looked at it: "Yeah, have you bought stinky tofu?"

Xie Meng looked at him in disbelief: "...You haven't gone abroad?"

"Yes." Ji Qinyang said lightly: "My parents have a great relationship and you don't know that I'm too lazy to be Pikachu."

“…”

Ji Qinyang carried the chicken into the kitchen, and looked back and saw Xie Meng still standing there.

Ji Qinyang raised his hand and shook it in front of his eyes: "I'm so happy?"

Xie Meng opened his mouth: "No... do you want to eat candy?"

Ji Qinyang raised his eyebrows: "I'm not Zhang Ganggang."

Xie Meng didn't hear anything he said, so he piled the roasted goods on the table in a hurry: "I bought hawthorn, melon seeds, pork jerky, and plum candy... do you want to eat it?"

Ji Qinyang suddenly stretched out his hand and hugged Xie Meng with force.

Xie Meng: "?"

Ji Qinyang turned his head and kissed the boy in the face: "I will love you well in the new year."

Xie Meng hugged him and was silent for a while before whispering: "So too."

Kneading the noodles, filling, rolling the dough, making dumplings, Xie Meng removed the boiled dates and picked three and stuffed them into the dumplings. Ji Qinyang laughed when he saw them.

Xie Meng said embarrassedly: "One for each person, the New Year's lottery."

The three of them cooked a table of dishes. Ji Qinyang took apart the chicken and cooked two dishes in a variety of ways. Zhang Xiujuan was happy, drank some wine, and placed the radio aside, playing the opera.

He had to watch the Spring Festival Gala on time at 8 o'clock. Ji Qinyang had long lost this habit, and he had not remembered it when Xie Meng turned on the TV.

"Good lady likes it." Xie Meng transferred to the central government, Zhang Xiujuan turned on the radio and watched TV with concentration.

"By the way." The old lady suddenly clapped her hands. She took out her pocket for a long time and took out two red envelopes: "One for one." Zhang Xiujuan smiled and said, "Go outside to watch the fireworks, don't be with me, old lady."

Xie Meng took a big scarf and wrapped himself and Ji Qinyang on one side. The two walked up Shantang Street. The snow had not yet melted, and you could hear the rustling sounds under your feet.

Sucheng was deserted on the New Year's Eve, and there were almost no one else except a few children who came out to set off fireworks and firecrackers.

Red lanterns were hung on both sides, and the light and shadow were reflected in the flowing water. Ji Qinyang and Xie Meng sat side by side on the bridge pier, watching the children set off fireworks.

"Do you want to play one?" Ji Qinyang asked with a smile.

Xie Meng took out a few fairy sticks from somewhere: "Just play this."

The two asked the children nearby that they borrowed the fire, and squatted together to light it. The sparks of the fairy stick were not high. Xie Meng held his hands together, as if holding fireworks in his palm.

The fire light reflected Ji Qinyang's delicate facial features. He lowered his head and looked at Xie Meng quietly.

"The last one." Xie Meng raised his face, and he touched Ji Qinyang's gaze: "...Don't you let it go?"

Ji Qinyang smiled and said, "I'll just see you let it go."

Xie Meng also smiled, he lit the last fairy stick, and then watched the sparks burn out and extinguish.

"Go back." Xie Meng stood up and shook his scarf. He lowered his head and put his lips on Ji Qinyang's forehead: "Happy New Year."

Ji Qinyang did not stand up immediately. He grabbed Xie Meng's hand, and the latter's fingertips touched a hard thing in the other party's hand.

"...what?" Xie Meng turned his wrist and Ji Qinyang stood up and slowly let go.
