Closing remarks
The book is finished.
Two years and four months, 3.66 million words.
Of course, the main reason is that I write slowly and take time off from time to time.
I would like to thank all readers for your long-term companionship. Without you, I would not have written so much.
Many thanks.

When I wrote the beginning of this book, I didn't really think that much. The number of words I set at that time was only 1.2 million words, so I wrote the ending at the beginning.
I posted the ending of the first version in the group. Zhou Jinru would touch Amiya’s head at the end and say everything is over, and then turn into light and dissipate.
Later, I felt that this ending was not good, so I wrote the second version. At that time, the main plot of Saint Martin was written, which is the ending in the main text, the sleeping ending.
It can be said that I made this dumpling meal just because of this vinegar (hahaha).
I am quite satisfied with this ending.
Lao Zhou's journey has temporarily come to an end. He has never stopped since One Hundred Years of Solitude. He has been running forward with all his teeth and claws bared, burning himself out. Now he can finally stop and have a good sleep.
The story of returning to Rhode Island stops here.

In the main text, I did not describe the endings of some characters because it is not necessary. The end of the return story does not mean the end of their lives. If I write too much, it will go off topic and become lengthy.
The length of this book is already long enough. I have survived two editors. No matter how long it is, readers may not be able to bear it.
Sometimes I also wonder what it will be like if it continues to develop, and the key figures buried before will definitely meet their fate.
Zhou Jinru met Ilyich in Ursus, the art student he met in Letania, etc.
The explosion of technology caused by the World Eaters war and the legacy left by the World Eaters themselves will inevitably lay new clues to conflicts.
But I really can’t write any more. If I continue writing, it won’t be called Return to Rhode Island.
So I stopped writing.
Let us be merciful and block the rest of the story.

The recent events of Arknights have been pretty good, and the writing level is at least that of a six-star operator. It’s finally not as simple as the main storyline in the previous chapters.
Especially with the recent clouds and sparks, seeing what happened to Pink Hair, I thought of Gaunt in St. Martin, who had to be strong, struggle, and work hard all his life, and finally ended up like that.
Fortunately, Yingjiao was more merciful than me and let Pink Feather have a way out.
Sometimes I think that the Eagle Point is 12 and my book is 20. Maybe my writing is too cruel.
As for some of the previous plots, readers may feel familiar when they see the plots in the game. I would like to declare here that I am really not a mole.
Not really.

The plan for a new book is already in place and is being written. We will discuss it when the time comes.
I will write some postscripts for this book, free content, and the number of words will not be too many.
So, let’s stop here.
Thank you again for your long-term companionship.
