Volume 8, Chapter 25, Change

Sha Zhengyang was not easy to comment on Thunder's lofty ambitions, but he firmly supported it.

Judging from Thunder’s idea, this guy is going to prepare to go deep into the manufacturing industry.

There is nothing wrong with this.

In recent years, Thunder has studied business administration.

Studying business administration in the 1980s was not the kind of business administration major that was 20 years later. It was a solid study of something.

This is all secondarily. The key is that since Huafeng started his business, Thunder has operated it himself, and has made Huafeng the largest water dispenser and water purifier company in China step by step.

Although there are sometimes factors that create heroes here, there is no doubt that Thunder has been trained through hard work in recent years.

Now the water dispenser industry is no longer the only one who dominated the profits in the past few years. It is no exaggeration to say that there are many big and small water dispenser manufacturers across the country, and even if they are capable of competing with Huafeng, there are at least four or five.

Under this fierce competition, the profit margin of water dispensers continued to decline, and the market expansion of water purifiers and water purifiers was not satisfactory.

Even so, Huafeng still firmly ranks first in market share and profit margins. The main reason is that Huafeng has done a very good job in marketing and component systems, which has led to a continuous decline in product costs while quality continues to maintain. In a sense, manufacturers who acquire important upstream components are also a means to reduce costs.

Thunder saw the competitiveness brought by its core advantages of becoming bigger and stronger in the parts industry.

For example, the reason why Huafeng can maintain its advantages over other brands is that Guojia Plastic and several other parts companies have always been Huafeng's core partners. Huafeng's large shipments ensure that Guojia Plastic's production capacity continues to improve, and the quality has been gradually refined over the years of hard work. This model allows Huafeng to calmly deal with competition from competitors' price costs and gain the upper hand.

Because of this, Thunder recalled his predictions for the future electronic communications industry, so he believed that with the rise of the Internet industry, the scale of the electronic manufacturing industry will grow in a geometric multiple, and there are unlimited opportunities.

He studied business administration, and his experience focused on corporate management. If he wanted to try non-traditional industries such as Internet companies, Thunder asked himself that it was difficult to be competent, so it would be better to take root in the manufacturing industry.

Anyway, many of the water dispenser and water purifiers made by Huafeng are plastic and ordinary electronic components, and can barely be linked to the electronics industry, especially in the parts industry, which can be interconnected. After taking over Guojia Plastic, they deliberately and consciously upgraded and fully entered the electronic communications industry, and started from the most basic.

From this perspective, Thunder's judgment is accurate, and Thunder has also seized this opportunity.

Han is an industrial base with a relatively complete range of industries in the inland areas, and the electronics industry also has a considerable foundation. However, the transformation is slightly slow and the opportunity brought by the rapid development of the electronic communications industry is not seen in time, which makes this area look a little silent.

In fact, Handu and electronic-related enterprises include Blu-ray Electronic Tube Factory, Handu TV Factory, Handu Radio Factory, Huaya Communication Equipment Factory, Yazhong Electronics Group and other state-owned enterprises, as well as 759, 803 and other electronic-related scientific research institutes. As for electronic enterprises below the municipal level, there are more.

Lei Ting and Sha Zhengyang talked about what he saw, heard and gained in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai.

Taking Suzhou as an example, it has great investment promotion efforts, with a large number of manufacturing enterprises from Japan and Taiwan, especially Taiwanese-funded electronic OEM companies. These enterprises have basically built new enterprises. The advantage is that they originally had OEM channels, and most of them are OEMs for large downstream enterprises in the United States, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, and basically have no worries about capital.

These electronic companies in Handu have several obvious disadvantages compared to Suzhou. First, they have no channels and need to develop on their own. Creating new brand reputation is also a problem; second, the transformation is slow and has not yet truly matched the needs of these large finished electronic companies abroad, and they also need an adaptation process; third, transportation costs, information communication and coordination of local government relations are also a problem. After all, inland areas are still a little unfamiliar to these companies.

However, in Thunder's view, electronic companies such as inland areas, especially Handu, especially those with flexible mechanisms like Guojia Plastic, have advantages that coastal areas do not have.

First of all, the salary level is a little lower than that in coastal areas. For this typical labor-intensive industry, salary cost is undoubtedly the most important cost. For a company with tens of thousands of employees, even if it can save 5100 yuan a month, the cost advantage saved in a year is unimaginable, and it is all pure profit.

The second is the cost advantage of water and electricity. As long as electricity and water in inland areas can enter various development zones, the price obtained will definitely be cheaper than those in coastal areas that rely on the west-to-east power transmission and input areas. Especially these companies are large electricity users, and the cost of electricity will also gain a great advantage. In addition, it is easier to guarantee electricity than in coastal areas.

It can be said that the advantages of Han City are disadvantages in coastal areas, and this disadvantage is irreparable. However, when the advantages of coastal areas are advantages in Han City are disadvantages, Lei Ting felt that some of them can be compensated or that there is no such thing as Guojia Plastic.

Channel and mechanism issues, Guojia Plastic has obtained a contract between Sanyoros, Gaosheng Electronics and Huafeng, and has been working with Huafeng for several years. It has basically operated completely according to a market-oriented mechanism, completely the same as the business model of enterprises in coastal areas. Whether it is marketing or production rules, it is generally consistent.

What we have to do now is to win order contracts for these big brands abroad, such as Dell, Compaq, ibm, Toshiba, Sony and Asus, Acer, Motorola, Nokia, Ericsson, etc.

Perhaps it is that information communication and transportation costs need to be solved through some methods. As for the coordination of relations with local governments, it is not a problem for Guojia Plastic.

The long-term cooperation with Huafeng is enough to prove a lot. Of course, it is not enough to win the trust of those big manufacturers by relying solely on this, but it takes a process.

Maybe this time you can win a case order for Compaq, next time you can get an ibm connector order, and next year you may enter other components with more complex and difficult levels, such as LCD panels, modules, sensors, etc. Brand and reputation are established step by step.

Thunder was determined to almost invest all the money earned from Huafeng into this area. In addition to renovating and expanding the Guojia old base in Xunyang Town, Huayang, he is also planning to build a new factory in Handu Economic and Technological Development Zone. He is already discussing this step with Handu Economic and Technological Development Zone.

When doing business, Thunder must strive for the best policy preferential policies from the Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee, such as land prices, water and electricity guarantees, tax exemptions, etc., and this type of manufacturing project is also the most popular among local party committees and governments. It not only can boost GDP, but it can bring many benefits to local consumption and even industrial chain cultivation. So Thunder is also very confident in this regard.

*******

On July 19, the Hanchuan Provincial Senior Officials Association appointed Kang Guangliang as the vice-president of the People's Government of Hanchuan Provincial.

On July 21, the Xiqin Provincial High-ranking Officials Association appointed Feng Shizhang as the vice-president of the Xiqin Provincial People's Government.

After Kang Guangliang became the vice-provincial director, he was not relieved of the position of director of the Development Planning Commission. It is estimated that it will take some time before the transition period for the Provincial Party Committee to reappoint the new Director of the Development Planning Commission.

However, Kang Guangliang's focus is obviously no longer on the Development and Planning Commission, and many of the work is temporarily under the responsibility of Qing Jianfeng.

At the same time, Du Guojian also served as Secretary of the Wanzhou Municipal Party Committee, Mu Tianran served as Acting Mayor of Wanzhou City, and Yao Libo served as Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee.

"Wanzhou has changed so much." Sha Zhengyang and Yao Libo, who happened to meet in the provincial government, walked side by side.

"Well, Secretary Feng has become Provincial President Feng, and the changes in the Wanzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government are inevitable. Secretary Xiahou is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee in this round." Yao Libo introduced.

"Then you, the executive vice mayor, have not yet been able to step down?" Sha Zhengyang asked curiously.

"I guess the provincial party committee is still studying it." Yao Libo was also unclear about this situation and did not make up for it once, which means that the provincial party committee is still brewing, and it seems that the possibility of it being generated from the local area is very small.

"I also want to go back to Wanzhou. Why doesn't the provincial party committee consider me?" Sha Zhengyang sighed half-true and half-false.

Yao Libo suddenly laughed, "Zhengyang, you said this a little against your will. When you come back, I will only let you come. I guess you are not happy. Secretary Du and Mayor Mu have been working together for several years, right? Can you afford to wait?"

"Secretary Yao, I'm ashamed if you say this." Sha Zhengyang was also happy.

I don’t know why, Sha Zhengyang and Du Guojian, the two cadres from Wanzhou in the province, had a very average relationship and were even a little distant, but they were able to get closer and closer with Yao Libo. This is probably because of their similar temperaments. Now they are in a smooth career, and their conversations are becoming more and more casual.

"Hehe, everyone knows that the Discipline Planning Commission came out, just like the Organization Department came out." Yao Libo smiled, "By the way, Zhengyang, after you arrived at the Discipline Planning Commission, I learned that you have a lot of them when you go to Handu, Qindu, Fugang, Zhaoyang, Puchi and Wuling, but only when you come to Wanzhou, it's unreasonable. After all, our Wanzhou is also half of your hometown, right?"

Sha Zhengyang smiled and did not answer this question for a while.
