303 Recruit Training Company

The attack on Gibraltar is a large-scale diplomatic and military action, and it is the direction that Germany is working hard recently.

Unfortunately, these have nothing to do with Weitman, who commands the No. 5 Leopard tank in the training camp in the suburbs of Berlin.

At this time, he was leaning against the hatch of the tank turret and looking at the distant hillside with a telescope. That was the target of his attack, and it was the position representing the enemy during this exercise.

"Car No. 1, car No. 1!" Putting down the telescope, Weitman pressed the throat telephone and called the command vehicle of his troops: "No enemy tank was found!"

The Leopard tank where Weitman is located is still hiding behind a bush at this time. He can clearly see the No. 1 tank not far away, and also see the bushes one after another on the distant hillside.

From his experience of driving a reconnaissance vehicle in Poland, he guessed that the bushes on the hillsides in the distance might be camouflaged enemy fortifications or tank targets.

But he really didn't see the enemy, so he could only report everything he saw. But soon he added, saying very cautiously: "However, I suspect the enemy is in those bushes!"

"Attack!" The company commander of Car No. 1 shouted, and the leopard tank with number 001 rushed to the roadbed on one side, revealing his trapezoidal turret with a slope.

Soon, the second tank followed the roadbed on the side. The tank with a capacity of more than 40 tons raised the sand and rushed towards the enemy's position, looking very majestic.

This is not simply a tank of invulnerability to rush towards the enemy's position. You must know that this tank of size and weight can bring an unparalleled sense of oppression while approaching the enemy.

This sense of oppression is more vividly reflected in the Leopard tank - this new tank has a more worrying design than the old tank.

The sides of the tank, most of the tracks and load-bearing wheels are covered by side skirts. The low body and a large turret make this German tank very modern.

The huge quality and the tight skirts add a heavy feeling to the Leopard tank. The tracks roll up dust and the engine roars up the slope. These Leopard tanks are much more powerful than other German armored vehicles.

Even in this school, including Weitmann, everyone who has seen the Leopard tank takes it for granted that the Leopard tank is the real weapon and equipment of German armored soldiers.

As for the No. 1 and No. 2 tanks equipped by the troops before, as well as No. 3 and No. 4 tanks, they are just another product. The only one that can be called a tank is the Leopard.

After more than ten days of running-in, Weitmann already knows the tank under his feet very well, and the members of the crew around him also knows his equipment very well.

The driver Duke was very used to manipulating his tank. After such a long period of running-in, he smoothly let his tank move forward and ran through the bushes that were originally used as a cover in front.

In front of Weitman was the gunman sitting in his position, Carl Wegener. At this time, he used his sight to find the target in the distance and carefully adjusted the angle of the artillery.

On the other side of the turret, the tall Homan was waiting for the order. Fortunately, after the gunner fired the first shell, he pushed the next shell into the barrel as fast as possible.

The radio operator is a new face, his name is Ehoff, a young, clean boy with eyes.

He had just graduated from radio school and was assigned to this crew, serving and participating in the war as a radio.

"Chief! I didn't find the target!" The cannon leader put his eyes on the eyepiece of the sight and said to Weitmann.

Although the temperature outside Berlin in October has begun to get colder, the temperature inside the tank is still quite high.

The air was a little dull, and only a little wind rushed in from the open tank hatch. Duke drove the tank, crossed a slope, and drove onto the road.

It didn't take long before these tanks rushed to the high ground, and all the targets built by a wood were penetrated as fake targets.

"There is no time for these sergeants to train here." Looking at the leopard tank climbing the high ground in the distance, the colonel in charge spoke to his adjutant.

He pointed to the 10 Leopard tanks in a company that were simulating an attack in the distance, and ordered: "Tomorrow, everyone in this company will leave here."

The order just came, because the new tanks produced had already collected enough 45, and the weapons and equipment of a newly formed tank battalion were to be transported to the front line for assembly.

The equipment of this tank battalion includes tanks and trucks, as well as armored vehicles from the battalion headquarters, combat staff members who have just been trained, etc.

The company where Weitman is located became the first group of trainees trained by the Armored Soldier School, and went to the front line to train more recruits.

It was like a dandelion, and Weitman and others were like seeds flying far away, and were about to blossom and bear fruit on the front line.

When more tanks are deployed to the front line, perhaps only one platoon in a battalion is a truly professionally trained crew.

They have to make sure that they have learned everything they have learned to the frontlines that have received new tanks. Just as these troops are responsible for teaching other newly formed armored units, using the No. 3 and No. 4 tanks they eliminated.

This is Germany's military expansion. While maintaining the rapid expansion speed, it ensures the combat quality of the front-line troops as much as possible.

"I feel a little reluctant to let them go just like that..." The colonel said with his hands behind his back and looking at the leopard tank that had stopped in the distance.

He hadn't figured out why the head of state met such a young man named Weitmann, and at the same time he had no much interaction with this young man.

He had been observing Weitman secretly, but he couldn't even find anything unique to the other party.

"In the afternoon, I will issue them a pass and let them report to the new troops." In the end, the Colonel, who looked reluctant, decided not to consider Weitman's issue anymore.

Perhaps the head of state just found a list of military rosters, accidentally saw Weitmann, and then mentioned it with great interest.

I have to say that this colonel is really a genius of reasoning - Li Le has indeed forgotten Weitmann. The head of state is very busy every day, so naturally he will not remember the name of a tank captain.

"Good fight!" On the hillside in the distance, the company commander of the 1st Company walked to the tank where Weitman was smiling and praised.

In the attack just now, Weitman's crew wiped out a total of two hidden enemy tanks, ensuring the safety of the entire tank company.

Because the enemy would not fire and fight back, victory was quite easy. Weitmann stood next to his tank, smiled embarrassedly, and said modestly: "Luck! I'm just lucky."

When he was talking about his luck, the colonel's adjutant came over, stood next to the company commander of the 1st Company, and spoke to the company commander of the 1st Company: "The above has come to the order. The colonel decided to transfer you to the Eastern Front!"

"Turn us?" The company commander of the 1st Company, who had just contacted the Leopard tank for a short time, asked with a look of at a loss: "Why?"

"A batch of new tanks will be transported to the Eastern Front. As the teaching company, you are responsible for training a new tank battalion." The adjutant looked at Weitmann and said as he spoke.

His words made the company commander of the 1st Company stunned for a moment, and then he asked with some anxiety: "Sir! We have only been training for more than ten days. Is it a bit too hasty to let us go to the teaching company in this situation?"

"There is no way to do this." The adjutant spread his hands helplessly, saying that he had no good idea either: "Everyone here has not been in contact with the new tank for a long time."

Because they were the first batch of trainees, the time these trainees had to contact the tanks was the same. The service time of the Leopard tank was too short to be enough to complete basic training.

Fortunately, these people who come to learn are veterans who have achieved record in various troops. If they were new recruits, they might not even finish memorizing the manual.

"Everyone is the same, only trained for more than ten days. You can continue to study on the front line, but at the same time, you must teach other recruits how to use new tanks." The adjutant said, and looked at Weitman unconsciously curiously.

"When will we set out?" When the company commander of the 1st Company heard this, he knew that the matter had probably been settled, so he could only ask this.

"You get on the train the day after tomorrow and go directly to Poland... and go with the tanks, and it can also be regarded as escorting these new equipment." After the adjutant finished speaking, he closed his folder, gave a casual military salute, and turned around and left.

Weitmann took a step forward, looked at the back of the adjutant who turned away, and after a while, he turned his head and said to his face: "There is trouble."

"Yes! Trouble is here!" The company commander of the 1st Company agreed depressedly: "We have not learned how to drive such a tank yet. We are going to teach others now."

"In more than ten days, dozens of tanks were produced and sent to the front line. The production speed of this tank is faster than that of No. 4." What Weitman wanted to say was that the equipment speed of this tank was really amazing.
