Chapter 355 Preparations for the World Finals

The "League of Legends" S1 World Finals is already in full swing.

For this S1 World Finals, Chen Mo visited several companies and finally selected the organizer: Yanhuang Information Technology Co., Ltd.

The predecessor of this company was also a relatively large studio in China, but later it transformed and started to do e-sports live broadcasts. It has recruited a large number of anchors, directors, and event organization related personnel. In terms of professionalism, it should be considered the best in China.

Several other companies wanted to get the hosting rights for the s1 World Finals of "League of Legends", but Chen Mo was not satisfied after the inspection, so he finally finalized Yanhuang.

Currently, Yan Huang has office locations in the Demon City and the Imperial City, and the relevant person in charge also attaches great importance to it, so the communication is very smooth.

Regarding the site selection of the S1 World Finals, Chen Mo also selected several places and finally finalized the 10th floor of Yuanda Plaza in the Magic City, a multi-function studio.

The main reason I chose this place is that in the parallel world, the entire e-sports atmosphere in the Magic City is also the best, and most clubs are here.

The quotation for this venue is also relatively expensive. Every day, Chen Mo directly signed a long-term lease contract and planned to rent it from at least one year. This venue will not only serve as the location of the S1 World Finals, but will also become a venue for the S2LPL Spring Tournament in the future.

After finalizing the location, Chen Mo also made a field visit, met with the person in charge of Yanhuang, and then provided Yanhuang with a complete set of decoration plans.

The entire venue is made of Chinese red as the main color. Outside the Yuanda Plaza building, a huge poster of the "League of Legends" professional competition was hung for publicity.

In the venue, there is a passage to enter the stadium. There are flags of various teams, large portraits of players, signature walls, voting walls, etc. on both sides of the passage.

There is also a special display wall inside the venue, which mainly contains some hero-related figures and surroundings for display. Currently, there are not many figures officially released in "League of Legends", only more than 20, including Garen, Caterina, Card Master, etc. These figures are placed in the display wall.

In addition to figures, there are some peripherals, such as Timo's hat, Garen's sword, etc. There are also some peripheral models made by fans. Anyone with high production level or uniqueness is placed in the display wall and the creator's name is marked.

There is also a wall, which Chen Mo plans to display the uniforms of various professional teams. Of course, many professional teams are not standardized enough and do not have uniforms yet, so these are all in a hurry.

The layout of the stadium is based on the structure of the lpl spring match. The audience seat is facing the stadium, and in the center is a super large screen to display the main picture of the game.

On the left and right sides of the super large screen are two long screens, showing the players on both sides and the selected heroes respectively.

Below the super large screen is the contestant's computer, and there is a small screen in front of each computer to show the player's facial expressions.

In addition, Chen Mo also arranged a large holographic projection equipment in the center of the venue. This holographic projection equipment is larger than the one in the experience store, with a side length of 15 meters, right in front of the stage.

The front row audience can see all the details of the competition clearly through this holographic projection device, which can be said to be complementary to the large screen in the center. The back row audience can see a little blurry, but they can also see the general situation clearly.

This holographic projection equipment is the largest model that can be purchased at present, and the price is not cheap, more than 700,000 yuan. However, compared with the rent of the entire venue, it can only be considered a drizzle.

In order to better show the effect of this holographic projection device, Chen Mo also specially asked the League of Legends project team to develop some additional functions for the competition.

For example, after selecting a hero, the hero's huge holographic projection and the contestant's holographic projection will appear on the holographic projection; after the selection of both teams, the hero lineups of both teams will be displayed in the left and right in the form of holographic projection.

These related functions have been tested on the holographic projection of the experience store many times to ensure performance.

In addition, Chen Mo also provided Yan Huang with a detailed competition process, including warm-up before the game, b/p session, formal competition, post-match interview, etc., as well as some precautions and rules for each link.

This rule is so detailed that Yan Huang's person in charge is a little confused.

Chen Mo will set the ticket sales time to September, and ticket sales will be sold one month in advance. Of course, relevant information will definitely be released earlier.

In addition, Chen Mo also used a special separate server for this competition, which was equivalent to a local area network, avoiding the possibility of a "network-drag war" in his previous life.

In terms of teams, the invited teams of the three major servers, European servers, American servers and Korean servers, have been determined, and they are all determined based on the strength, fame and team's combat power. Basically, most famous clubs abroad have invited them, with a total of twelve teams.

As for the domestic team, it is relatively troublesome, because although one or two of the ten domestic teams are strong, the other teams are still in the running-in period and change period. Therefore, Chen Mo plans to organize a private selection match by Yan Huang before the World Championship to select the four teams shortlisted for the World Championship this time.

Of course, Chen Mo ignored this selection competition. After all, Yan Huang is also a professional event organization team. Such small competitions have been organized many times, and there will basically be no problems.

...

On the other hand, "Escape" is also being developed step by step.

Although I have encountered some minor setbacks, they are not difficult to solve technical problems. They just need to polish their performance. Therefore, the current R&D progress is still quite smooth.

Chen Mo set the release date of "Escape" on September 23, which is a Sunday. Of course, all the review work is OK. Although he has experienced some minor twists and turns, it is not a big deal.

Zhang Zhongxiang believes that although this "Escape" is a VR game, although it is dangerous, it has a certain promotion and helping effect on promoting the progress of VR performance methods, so "Escape" has been successfully reviewed.

However, there are still some resistance within the tour committee. Zhang Zhongxiang and Qiao Hua also reminded Chen Mo that after "Escape" is launched, you should pay attention to the feedback from players. If the players are satisfied, then there is no problem in launching a sequel; if the players are boycotted, then this work may be Chen Mo's last horror game.

Of course, Chen Mo also knew the risks brought by "Escape", but he was confident in this game.

He wants to prove to everyone that although horror games are a relatively niche game type, they can also have classic works and will bring players a unique gaming experience.
