Chapter 2 The petals of the sun shadow flower

"Chi Yanhuai." Wanwan did not touch the hand Chi Yanhuai placed beside her pillow, but instead spoke and called the other person's name in an overly hoarse voice.

"The princess is awake? I'm going to ask Ayin to serve the princess to wash up." Chi Yanhuai quickly stood up from the ground and turned around and went out.

Because of her physical condition, Yu Xiaowan rarely got out of bed in my memory. Usually, Ayin served her after washing up, and Chi Yanhuai fed her food and medicine, and she lived like a waste.

Wanwan despised Yu Xiaowan's life very much, but after trying to get out of bed without success, she finally compromised. Looking at the newly changed bright red curtains on the bed, she silently waited for A Yin's arrival.

After washing up, Chi Yanhuai came to feed her. Seeing the boy's clear joints holding a spoon and handing it to her mouth, she couldn't help but sneer: "Chi Yanhuai, a prince of a country, you are really promising to do this kind of nanny."

Her eyes swept across the face that looked very much like Yun Huai, and the corners of her lips were bent. The more humble Chi Yanhuai was, the more she wanted to humiliate him.

It’s interesting to think about it when I step on the Yunhuai God who is not stained with dust.

The boy did not comment on her sarcastic words, and his posture of holding the spoon did not change. Seeing his performance like wood, Wanwan made a boring thing herself and reluctantly drank the porridge in the spoon according to his movements.

"Ayin, find someone to come and remove all these." After half a bowl of porridge, Chi Yanhuai turned around to put the bowl, and Wanwan opened her mouth as she looked at the red silk in the room.

"Princess, yesterday was your happy day, this..." Hearing her words, Ayin's face was a little nervous, and she wanted to continue persuading her, but she didn't dare.

Hearing Ayin's rebuttal, Wanwan looked at Chi Yanhuai again. The young man knelt in front of her with a bowl of medicine, with no change in his expression.

It's really tolerant.

"I said I'm withdrawing, I'm noticing about these things." Staring at the boy's face for a long time, Wanwan spoke and concluded.

Hearing her decisive tone, Ayin didn't dare to refute anymore and hurried out to ask for help.

The maids from Lingquan Palace entered one after another and began to evacuate the red silk stickers in a very orderly manner. Although they tried to minimize the sound, Wanwan was still unable to fall asleep by the messy movements.

Her eyes rolled, she looked at Chi Yanhuai again, and said softly: "Do you hate?"

According to the customs of the Yu Kingdom, when a newcomer gets married, the red silk in the courtyard must be hung for at least three months. In order to show their face, the princes and nobles never take the initiative to withdraw the red silk. Over time, a trend of comparison has been formed in Yudu. Whoever has a long time of hanging the red silk means that the couple will be in love.

On the second day of the wedding, she asked someone to pull the red silk, just swaying at Chi Yanhuai's face.

"It's time to take medicine, princess." Chi Yanhuai did not answer her question, but just sent the medicine bowl in his hand forward. Wanwan noticed that his fingertips holding the bowl had been permed and turned white.

"No drink, take it away." Looking at his hardworking look, even with the face that looked like Yunhuai, Wanwan couldn't connect him with Yunhuai anymore. She held her breath in her chest. She turned over and said with her back to Chi Yanhuai with annoyance.

"Fifth Sister, what's wrong? He made you angry with such a big scene?" A high-pitched female voice suddenly sounded, followed by calm footsteps from far to near. Wanwan slowly turned over, and her misty eyes looked at the person coming.

A woman in her twenties was wearing a purple outfit and her hair was tied up high with a crown, which was full of heroic looks. Yu Xiaoniao, the second emperor sister with this body.

Listening to her concerned voice, Wanwan recalled how Yu Xiaowan got along with the second emperor sister, and pursed her lips and didn't make a sound.

"Okay, please calm down. Second sister brings you something good. Maybe it won't take long before we can jump around." She didn't respond, and Yu Xiaoniao continued.

"What good thing is this?" After hearing Yu Xiaoniao's words, Wanwan became excited. Her mood fluctuated too much. After saying that, she started coughing violently.

Her excessively weak look made Yu Xiaoniao frown, and she didn't keep it in hiding. She took out a petal from her sleeve and put it in Wanwan's palm.

Sun Shadow Flower!

Seeing the goose yellow petals in the palm of her hand, Wanwan immediately cheered up. She was still a little suspicious when she heard Yu Xiaoniao's words, but now she saw the petals in the palm of her hand, her heart became hot.

Sun Shadow Flower is indeed the most important medicine to cure cold poison, and this thing is extremely rare. She was still thinking about what to use if she couldn't find Sun Shadow Flower, but who knew that Yu Xiaoniao sent it to her.

"This is the Sun Shadow Flower, which has miraculous effects on treating cold poisons. There is only this petal at the moment, but don't worry, the fifth sister, just wait until the princess of Wei is married. She will come with the seeds of Sun Shadow Flower, and you will be saved by then." Yu Xiaoniao said again.

"When will she come?" Wanwan asked.

When the princess of Wei comes to marry, Wanwan doesn’t care whoever she marrys. She only cares about Sun Shadow Flower.

Sun Shadow Flower is so important to her that she doesn't want to wait for a moment.

"I'm already on the road, I'll be here tomorrow. You have a good rest and get angry with the irrelevant people. My sister will send it to you after getting the seeds." Yu Xiaoniao said that the irrelevant people she said were naturally Chi Yanhuai.

Chi Yanhuai is nominally Yu Xiaowan's son-in-law, but in the eyes of everyone, he is just an object to coax Yu Xiaowan.

I don’t know how long the petal brought by Yu Xiaoniao has been picked. The edge of the petal is gone and it looks wilted. Wanwan’s fingers rubbed the veins of the petals, and couldn’t help but smile.

With the only Sun Shadow Flower, she cannot cure her cold poison, but it can be suppressed. As long as she can make her energetic, she can practice again.

Seeing that she was in a good mood, Yu Xiaoniao looked at her with pity and turned around silently to go out.

"Princess, you haven't taken medicine yet." Chi Yanhuai's voice suddenly sounded, recalling Wanwan's thoughts.

Wanwan came back to her senses and saw that the boy was still kneeling on the ground, holding the bowl of medicine that had been mostly cold in his hand. Seeing his face, the good mood that had just risen was instantly dissipated. She raised her hand and knocked off the bowl in Chi Yanhuai's hand, and said despicablely: "You are so brave. You actually knocked over the medicine from this palace and went out to kneel down."

When the medicine was just brought in, she discovered that this bowl of medicine had no effect on the cold poison in her body. At best, it was a medicine to replenish qi and blood, so she would not drink such unhealthy things.

Chi Yanhuai was silent, lowered his head and put away the fragments on the ground, saluted her again, turned around and walked out the door. The sixteen-year-old boy was silent and humble, so respectful that he couldn't find any fault.

Seeing his figure leaving the inner room, Wanwan chuckled, she pulled her clothes, bit her fingers, and chased the almost shriveled petals mixed with blood and drew a spirit-locking talisman on her chest.
