Chapter five hundred and forty-ninth ghost

Xun, I nodded, wondering, but I couldn't ask why it wasn't clean, so I said, "Mom, don't worry, I won't go there to play."

When Xun I was about to walk out of the door, my mother was worried about her and said something from behind her: "Please listen to your mother, don't go there to play."

Xun I agreed without looking back: "Mom, stop talking, I understand." As he said that, Xun I had disappeared from her sight.

Soon Xun I met with those usually good playmates, namely Erniu, Xiaopang, Dabao, Shunzi, and Xun I.

They first built a chubby snowman on the streets of the village. After they had made the snowman, Xiaopang suggested that he would go to the ghost temple to play hide-and-seek.

Xun I thought of my mother's advice and said a little disagree: "My mother said that there is not clean, so let's not go."

He said to Xun I indifferently, "Look at your courage, what's there to be afraid of? It's all adults who scare children. I was still playing in the ghost temple yesterday."

Erniu and Shunzi also asked to go to the ghost temple to play. Seeing that they all wanted to go, Xun I had to pluck my courage, bit the bullet and follow them to the ghost temple.

The Ghost Temple is only as big as a room, empty, dark and nothing, it is just a gust of wind inside, as if there are many unclean things wandering around, making people feel furry all over.

After the five of them came to the temple, Xun I thought of their bold appearance just now, so I wanted to scare them, pointing to a black horn in the temple wall and saying, "Look! There is a ghost there, let's run away."

The four of them suddenly heard Xun Wo's words and were shocked. "Don't scare us, where are the ghosts?" Xiaopang said with a chill.

"Yes, don't be nonsense. How can there be ghosts so late? Are you confused?" Dabaobao started to be frightened.

"Don't scare us, it will scare people to death." Erniu was so scared that his face was pale and he didn't dare to move.

"I..." Shunzi was even more timid and was so scared that he couldn't speak.

It turns out that they are also afraid of ghosts! Looking at their scared expressions, Xun I was secretly happy, deliberately pretending to be very scared, and whispered: "Have you ever heard of ghosts going out on the sun set? The later it is, the more ghosts will come out. Now listen, it is heading towards us..."

Before Xun I could finish speaking, she suddenly heard some strange sounds coming from outside the temple, as if she was stepping on the snow and making a "crying" sound.

Xun I quickly turned my head and looked out the temple gate, and found that the snowman they had just piled up was coming into the temple. Xun I felt trembling and suddenly twitched all over my body.

Xun I know they can't sit still and wait for death, so I have to find a way to escape.

Xun I turned my head, stared at the thub beside me, and whispered: "Brother thub be, you are brave, take us out quickly."

Dabaotou shook like a rattle, and shivered and said, "Brother, I'm even timid than a mouse. You'd better take everyone to escape."

Xun I pointed to my leg that was injured when I climbed a tree and dug a bird's nest a few days ago and said, "A few days ago, I climbed to a big poplar tree next to the village to dug a bird's nest. I accidentally fell from the tree and injured my leg. It has not healed yet, how can I take everyone to escape?"

Dabao muttered in a low voice: "Anyway, I am afraid of ghosts. I can't die at the hands of ghosts. Whoever wants to take the lead in escaping will take the lead in escaping."

I didn't expect that the bag would be tampering. It seemed that I could not count on him anymore. Just as I was thinking, suddenly Xun I smelled a pungent stinky smell. Following the source of the smell, he saw Shunzi holding his head, shrinking his body, trembling all over, crying constantly, and water dripping in his crotch. It was obvious that he was so scared that he had peed his pants.

Looking at Erniu and Xiaopang again, they were so scared that their hands and feet were numb and soft, like cotton choking, and they didn't dare to say anything, and they didn't dare to move. Seeing this, Xun knew that they couldn't expect these little friends to take the lead and rush out of the ghost temple.

Seeing the snowman getting closer, Xun I didn't care about my leg injury and was about to rush out of the temple gate first, suddenly I felt a gust of wind blowing from behind, and I couldn't help but tremble all over.

Xun I was stunned for a moment, turned around and looked in the direction of the cold wind. I saw a white shadow that looked like a man floating towards the snowman from the temple. The snowman seemed to be afraid of the white shadow, so he immediately turned around and fled to the same way.

The white shadow did not give up and followed the snowman tightly, and soon the two ghosts disappeared from their sight.

After a while, Xun I was sure that the two ghosts had really left, so I shouted in my throat: "Parts, run away!"

Unexpectedly, this time they all ran faster than the rabbit. They soon escaped from the ghost temple and ran towards their homes. Because Xun I had an injury on my leg and couldn't run fast, they had been left far behind by them.

At this time, the whole village was quiet, as if Xun I was the only one left. Although it was cold and cold, he felt that his clothes were soaked in sweat, and cold sweat kept coming out.

Xun I just wanted to run home quickly, but I didn't care about the pain in my legs. I kept running forward. On several occasions, I was slipped by the snow on the ground, and I fell so hard that I was covered in snow. I didn't care about knocking them off. I got up and ran forward desperately.

After running for a while, Xun thought it was time to get home, so he stopped and saw that it was not the door of the house, but the door of the ghost temple.

I was so dizzy! Xun, I ran for most of the night, but actually ran back.

I used to listen to my grandfather telling ghost stories, and knew that I had encountered a ghost and hit a wall, so I would be in vain if I ran away. So I simply sat under a big tree at the entrance of the temple, waiting for dawn to go home, or waiting for my mother to pick me up.

After waiting for a while, suddenly I saw a few women wearing long robes and maids walking out of the temple. They saw that their little faces were as pale as paper, with no blood, and their lips were like ghosts that had eaten dead children, with a bloody luster. Moreover, they were walking on the snow without any sound.

Xun I was so scared that I hid behind the tree, my heart kept beating, and my whole body was trembling.

Then Xun I heard a maid say, "My son-in-law came just now, and our lady is going to chase him."

Another maid continued, "It was those children who made the son-in-law fat that he walked very slowly. This time our lady will definitely be able to chase him."

Another maid continued, "These children have helped our ladies. The ladies in the temple just now did not let us hurt them..."

When I heard their conversation, I thought of the scene where the white shadow chased the snowman just now, and then I realized that the white shadow was their lady, the snowman was their son-in-law, but the snowman was built by them, so how could it be their son-in-law?

Xun I was thinking uneasy when I suddenly saw my mother holding a torch and looking for me: "Peng'er, Peng'er, where are you? Peng'er..."

"Mom, I'm here." Xun Wo shouted to her mother, then ran out from behind the tree and came to her.

Then he asked her worriedly: "Mom, how many female ghosts were talking here just now? Have you seen them?"

The mother shook her head and said, "Ghosts are most afraid of lights. If they encounter ghosts, they will be scared away when they see lights in my hands."

What my mother said makes sense. Ghosts are most afraid of lights. When walking at night, you will not encounter ghosts as long as you hold a torch.

Soon, Xun I followed my mother back home and told my grandfather about the terrible experience just now. My grandfather told him a ghost story about the ghost temple with a serious expression.

A long time ago, there was an old rich man living in the village. The old rich man had a daughter who looked like a flower and was a very famous beauty in our place. So many young men from rich families came to the rich man's house to propose marriage, but the old rich man's daughter looked down on these rich men at all, but instead liked a poor boy from the north end of the village, Ren Erniu.

Ren Erniu has no father or mother and looks bad, but he is a well-known good man. As long as he has money, he will help those in need. Therefore, his family is very poor, so the old rich man will naturally not be willing to marry his daughter to him.

When the two saw the old rich man objecting, they secretly dated with him on their backs. Later, the lady became pregnant with Ren Erniu's child.

When the old rich man found out, he sent someone to arrest Ren Erniu. It was snowing heavily at that time, so the old rich man asked someone to tie Ren Erniu's hands and feet and throw it into the wilderness.

When the snow stopped, the villagers discovered Ren Erniu that he had become a snowman and was frozen to death.

The lady also hanged herself after hearing that Ren Erniu was frozen to death.

I don’t know how long it took, just as people were about to forget this sad story, someone leveled the young lady’s grave and built a temple on it. However, before the gods were offered to it, the haunted place began.

Every time the sun sets, the villagers will see a white shadow calling Ren Erniu's name in the temple grievingly.

The villagers all knew that the white shadow was the young lady who died unjustly. Later, when it was snowing, the children would find that the snowmen they had built would walk around, because Ren Erniu's ghost was attached to the snowman.

Because the temple is often haunted, the villagers dare not worship the gods in it, so it becomes a ghost temple.

After hearing this ghost story, Xun I realized that it was Shi Erniu’s ghost attached to the snowman they piled up, and that snowman came to the near the ghost temple.

But he was afraid of seeing that lady, so he escaped the same way. I wonder if the lady had caught up with him.

After dawn, Xun and I went to the place where we built snowmen at night to see if the snowman was still there...

After they arrived there, they found that the snowman had been destroyed by several big black dogs.

Since then, Xun and I and my friends will go to build snowmen near the Ghost Temple whenever they are snowing, hoping that Ren Erniu's ghost can be attached to the Snowman and find his lady, but this has never happened again.
