Chapter 5 Cunning

The koi was as stupid as a wooden chicken, tilting her head and suspected that she was distorted. However, Jinglin's clothes swayed and she had already climbed up the steps. The mountain fog was particularly annoying at this moment, blocking his vision, making Jinglin's back almost disappear.

The koi came to her senses and chased after her. He hugged Jinglin's calves and shouted, "Jinglin!"

Jinglin remained motionless and looked at him sideways.

The koi raised her head and was so cold that she was tense all over. He said anxiously: "Jinglin, don't throw me away!"

"You are not mine." Jinglin brushed his sleeves and stepped up the steps.

"Jinglin!" Koi clenched the corner of his clothes and whimpered, "The wild beasts in Jinglin Mountain want to catch me and eat, and I don't want to separate from you."

Jinglin said nothing.

Koi refused to let go, and when she raised her head, she burst into tears. His eyes were filled with reflections of Jinglin, as if he had put Jinglin all in his heart, and he was full of dependence. Jinglin stared at him, but his eyes were still ruthless.

"I want to be with you!" Koi choked and said loudly, "I saw that it was you when I opened my eyes. I don't want to go anywhere else."

"You know who I am," said Jinglin. "How dare you say that."

"You are Jinglin!" The koi was dragged to the ground, and he grabbed Jinglin's clothes tightly, as if this piece of cloth was his life-saving straw. He couldn't say too many words, so he could only repeat it dejectedly, "You are Jinglin Jinglin." He sobbed, "Don't throw me away."

Koi cried this time with sincerity, because his chaos was just beginning to bloom, and the world was like watching flowers through the fog. He neither understood human feelings nor did he usually understand. He had only thoughts to "eat", but even if he wanted to eat Jinglin, he never thought of leaving Jinglin. Isn't eating Jinglin another kind of companion? He thought so, and he never felt that there was anything wrong. He no longer remembered many things when he was fishing. He only remembered Jinglin, and he had always been with Jinglin. He understood so clearly that at this moment, he had to leave Jinglin, and he had only one way to die in the vast snow.

He could not let go, at least he could not let go before eating Jinglin. This was his prey that he had been eyeing, and the food he thought about at night. His gritted teeth revealed that he would never give in. So when Jinglin pulled his sleeves, he suddenly knocked himself on the steps. His forehead hit the corner heavily, rolled and slid to the ground, and then felt the red blood flowing down his eyebrows, piercing his left eye sore.

The koi was lying on the ground, crying hoarsely. He covered his left eye with difficulty, looked up at Jinglin like this, as if he threw everything out, just wanted Jinglin to hug him. The child's cold red fingers could not cover the blood. He trembled and called timidly, "Jinglin"

Jinglin is as cold as ice.

The koi was isolated and crawled without help, without caring about blood, and her hands were shaking in the snow, making people feel red. He sobbed until his breath was chaotic, and he could only see Jinglin's back getting farther and farther away. He shouted heartbrokenly, and his tender voice was hoarse.

"You can't Jinglin!" Koi shivered all over, "Please don't throw me away."

He seemed to be unable to steadily slashing the steps and knocking back. He lay in the snow, his eyes blurred with tears, and unwilling whimpering sounds came from the cracks of his tight teeth. The wounded blood was mixed between his fingers. He held the ice and snow and turned over and stood up. He stood there, constantly wiping his eyes, and blood and tears covered his hands. He seemed to have no choice but to stand here, looking at Jinglin's back crying loudly like an ordinary child.

The cedars on the steps were shaken by the crying, and the snow on the branches was covered with thick fog. Jinglin's figure completely disappeared. Only the crying sounds were left in the mountains, and the monsters and beasts all looked up. The koi were tired of crying, and Jinglin was gone.

A wild boar arched out of the snow and smelled the smell toward the koi. The wild boar was huge and moved like a hill, obviously having cultivated some spiritual energy. It circled around the koi and said in a muffled voice, "You want to follow him? You don't know who he is."

Koi stopped crying, and he said with red and swollen eyes, "I won't do your business."

The wild boar snorted and pushed down the koi with his nose, "I'm in charge of this mountain. What do you insist on pestering him? He is the coldest. Gods always look like this. Don't be with him anymore, wouldn't you stay here with monsters? You're just a fish."

"Don't do your business." Koi ran a few steps and stepped on the steps with great difficulty. He thought about it, threw away his morning cloak and pulled it into a mess with his outer jacket. He kept trembling in the cold wind, gasping for Jinglin's footsteps.

"What did he do with his clothes?" A goshawk leaned down and asked the wild boar below suspiciously, "Aren't he afraid of the cold?"

"If you turn into a human, you will become weird." The wild boar dragged his cloak, "It's so weird."

The monsters and beasts all agreed, and the koi had already climbed into the mountains. He could not walk fast, and it began to snow in the sky. His legs and feet were slowly swaying in the snow, feeling that his toes had become stones. Cedars hang ice around him, and the stream was twitching and brisk. As the snow was heavy, the fog became thicker and thicker.

The koi couldn't even leave. He thought to himself how Jinglin was so cruel, like a heartless person. He wanted to leave again, which made Jinglin regret it. But no matter what he thought, he didn't turn around. He gradually did not dare to breathe anymore, because the wind and cold were so strong that he could even freeze his mouth and tongue. His face could no longer bend his expression, and was condensed into a low expression by the wind and cold, like a carved mask. His limbs became stiff and hard, and he couldn't even bend his fingers.

I don't know how long it took, but my ears were suddenly filled with a gentle breath. The koi slowly turned her eyes and saw a face floating among the snowy wind. The other party's silver hair was dragged away from the wind, and the tail end also turned into snow.

"Where are you going to chase?" the other party said temptingly, "You can't walk into the cicada garden like this, and Jinglin hides the garden in the subtle parts of the world." He leans his ears and says, "You will never find it."

"It's all your business." Koi noticed the evil spirit, and his eyelashes and hair were covered with frost and snow, revealing the fierceness that was not easy to deal with.

Xue Mei chuckled in the wind and snow, and his hands and feet were transparent, because his cultivation was low and he was unable to maintain his appearance. He lay freely in the wind, following the koi.

"You were abandoned by Jinglin at the foot of the mountain. Do you know that he had lost many fish?" Xue Mei whispered, "Do you know who he is? I know, I will tell you."

Unexpectedly, Koi ignored the following sentence and just looked up suddenly, "Did he have many fish before? No, you lied to me, he clearly only has mine!"

Xue Mei rolled around with a smile, "Do you believe it or not? Do you think so seriously? You see, he described it as being cold, terminally ill, and had been tangled with the sickbed for a long time. There was nothing else in the garden except himself. Don't he feel silent? He must be afraid of loneliness."

"I don't believe you." Koi's pace slowed down, and he shook his head hard, "Jinglin is the only one."

"If he had only you, why would he throw you away?" Xue Mei said sadly, "He threw you away without looking back. How could he be so heartless? Did he have no heart? In the past, you were with you every day, even if you were a fish, would he not have any sorrow with you? But the more he was so kind and unkind he was." Xue Mei changed her tone and smiled strangely, "The more you wanted to swallow him, tear him apart, swallow him apart, and tickle him, and stuff them all into your stomach. You little monster, greedy and cunning."

The koi seemed to be touched by the worries, and became angry, "It has nothing to do with you!"

Xue Mei wandered to the other side of the koi, "What are you afraid of? You must not call Jinglin to know, because you are afraid that he will think you are an ordinary monster, and greed is the nature." He giggled and said in a soft voice, "You shouldn't be afraid, you don't know that he is more ruthless than any monster in this world. A long time ago, he killed his king and father, and he also killed many people, and he made blood flow into a river in the Nine Heaven Realm. Have you ever seen the red world with burning clouds? When Jinglin killed people, the Nine Heaven Realm was like that. He also killed thousands of monsters, and his sword contained the bones of monsters and the blood of gods. He was spitted, hated, and feared, the blood of the king and gods."

But the koi wiped her frozen cheeks, not surprised or afraid. He just said impatiently, "You make it difficult for me to tell the direction. Don't be here, go elsewhere."

Xue Mei floated around the koi, "Aren't you afraid of him?" and immediately said, "You must have been deceived by his skin. His skin is fatal than any disguise in the world."

"You think he looks good, too," said Koi.

Xue Mei said resentfully: "I still want to scrape off his skin and push it to my face." He said, "If I have his skin, I can't go among the three realms." He suddenly became sinister again, "It's a pity that he imprisoned me here, and told me not to leave for hundreds of years! He was afraid that my fellow friends would say he was still alive, and he was afraid that he would be nothing great! Little monster, if you really want to eat him, I will help you."

Sure enough, when the koi's eyes lit up, they pressed them down cautiously, pretending to be disdainful.

Xue Mei said: "You have to agree if you don't agree. I have revealed Jinglin's past to you. Since you heard it, you have become a bond with me. If you want to survive, you must do as I can."

The koi's face was pale and she said, "You are so treacherous!"

Xue Mei said: "If you are obedient, you will not suffer any pain. You can still get Jinglin's spiritual energy for nothing. Don't you want to? As long as you eat him, he will never be able to throw you away."

The koi hesitated for a moment and said, "Are you serious? I don't want to be tied to you."

"Unless I die, no one can untie it. You have to do whatever I tell you to do. Although I can't kill you, I can make you frozen to death in the snow and never get out." Xue Mei looked at the koi coldly, and saw that he was a little scared, so she laughed, "Be good, I'll show you the way."

After the snowy and mist forest was buried in the cicada garden, the koi saw the familiar garden from afar, and the wounds on her forehead were frozen to stop the pain.

Xue Mei leaned on his back and whispered, "You must hide the grass I gave you. Even if a god swallows it, it will be painful and unable to move. You don't know that Jinglin is terrifying, even if he can't move, he can't let people feel at ease. When he swallows it, I will teach you how to do it."

The koi looked ahead, breathed out, and suddenly asked, "Is it the same for monsters?"

Xue Mei's eyes rolled, and Xue Feng tightened the koi's neck. He said, "Don't make any other ideas, this grass has no use to me. If it could harm me, how could I give it to you?"

The koi's neck was red from cold. He snorted coldly, trotted a few steps, and reached the last step.

The stone little man sitting under the eaves was shaking his legs and shaking a copper bell. His eyes paused, and he saw the koi standing in a mess at the door. It jumped up like a hair, ran over and circled around for a few times, as if he was looking at something rare.

The koi staggered and said with a regret, "Don't you recognize me anymore? The stone heart is like your master!"

The stone man rolled over and sat in the snow and pinched a ball to smash the koi. The koi did not flash or dodge, and his eyes were red and swollen, which was extremely desolate.

Koi said to Xue Mei: "Do you want to go into the house with me? Jinglin must be sleeping at this moment."

Xue Mei was originally looking at the stone villain, as if she couldn't figure it out. She heard this and urged casually, "It's a rare opportunity! Take me in!"

The stone little man was slamming the snowball and watching the koi pass by it, neither stopping nor getting up. As soon as Xue Mei approached the garden, she felt that the stone little man was unusual. When she saw it, she didn't look like a gatekeeper, and suddenly she suddenly opened her mind and said in surprise, "It is-"

The koi hit the threshold and planted onions. The wooden board in the inner room seemed to be covered with a layer of spiritual world. As soon as Xue Mei was next to the wooden board, she made a "thorny" sound. He sternly said, "Silly! Get up with me!"

Unexpectedly, Koi was crushed by the small case again and threw herself into his half-solid body. He realized something was wrong, so he saw Koi struggled to raise his hand and pressed him to the ground. The hot ground made Xue Meiyu scream, but her mouth was filled with force and a ball of grass.

Xue Mei couldn't vomit and was stuffed. He was covered with his mouth and was so hot that it was about to melt. The pain in his abdomen was unbearable. Before he rolled, he heard a koi say something to him.

"Thank you."

The koi retreated in panic, rolled and climbed up the couch, rushed into Jinglin's arms, choked out of voice and trembling all over, "Jinglin, Jinglin, I'm so scared!"

Xue Mei's internal organs were stirring violently, and he hit the threshold and almost melted. His face was ferocious and he shouted sadly, "You——"

You are a cunning monster!

Jinglin just woke up and frowned and saw the koi snuggling.

He had lost his clothes and only wore an inner jacket and a robe, which seemed to be difficult to chase him all the way. The broken area between his forehead was frozen and condensed, and the blood on his face had not been wiped clean. Jinglin was still reflected in his clear and innocent eyes, but when Jinglin woke up, he shrank his hand in fear and grievance.

"Jinglin" He was tearful, "Jinglin."
