Section 42, Bandit Camp
Tracy regretted why she had to leave the city recklessly on the horse's back. When she heard the mural painter in the church tell the beautiful scenery of the lake outside the town of Lorraine, she couldn't help but take several servants to go there. Although Nord was worried about his daughter's safety, there had been no robbers outside the town of Lorraine for a long time, so Nord hired several bodyguards to protect his daughter's safety.
"Have you arrived?" Tracy's blood filled her mind because she had been placed horizontally on the horse's back, causing her eardrums to buzz and feel dizzy, but at this time the horse stopped moving forward.
The forest was filled with blue smoke, and a group of illegal people gathered together. They were roasting rabbit meat on the bonfire and laughing wildly. Tracy felt that her body was beaten and was lifted off the horse by the knight. She fell to the ground, thanks to the soft soil on the ground.
"Well," Tracy struggled hard, trying to stand up and run away, but her hands were tied back, and it was difficult to escape, not to mention that the two robbers had already stepped forward and grabbed her shoulders.
"Hahaha, it's rare for you to bring a woman back?" The two robbers looked at the beautiful Tracy and laughed unrestrainedly. The body odor of the robbers and the dirty smell of leather armor made Tracy almost suffocate.
"Woo, woo." Tears flowed out of Tracy's eyes. Her shoulders were shaking because of fear. Just as a robber reached his hand to the bottom of her skirt, he suddenly let out a whoosh.
"Wow~~." The robber who stretched out his hand to Tracy screamed, and his two fingers were cut off. Tracy saw the robber knight Leglas pulling out his sword and throwing it hard. Blood from the sharp blade flowed on the ground.
"Who allowed you to touch this lady?" Legras's voice sounded under the devil's mask, and another robber hurriedly supported his companion, even they were very awe of this terrifying robber knight.
"Sorry, Sir, it's our fault."
"Get out!" Sir Legras said bluntly, but the two robbers were about to be amnesty, and the other robbers hurriedly looked away.
"Ah." Sir Leglas inserted his sword back into the scabbard. He stepped forward and uncovered the linen strip tied to Tracy's mouth. Tracy looked at the two fingers that were still beating on the ground next to him, and screamed in fright.
"If you promise not to escape, I can untie the rope for you." Sir Legras asked Tracy. Compared to the vicious bandits next to him, Sir Legras was wearing a devil mask, but his attitude was gentleman. Tracy thought for a while and nodded.
Sir Legras drew his sword again and cut the rope tied to Tracy. Tracy moved his wrist and his numb fingers gradually revived. She looked at Sir Legras who had returned to the sword and entered the sheath, and her heart was full of doubts.
"Follow me." Sir Leglas waved to Tracy, turned around and walked to the other side of the robber camp. Trace turned her head and looked at the group of ill-hearted robbers by the bonfire, and followed Sir Leglas without hesitation.
There was actually a cottage on the other side of the camp. Tracy looked at the cottage in surprise, but from the axe on the wooden stake in front of the cottage, this place should be where the loggers live, and now it has become the residence of the robber knights.
"Come in!" Sir Leglas opened the wooden door and said to Tracy.
Tracy looked around and followed the Jazz in. She was extremely surprised when she entered because the simple wooden house was full of expensive things.
Dozens of expensive fabric tapestry were nailed to the wooden wall with nails. They were originally supposed to be hanging in noble houses or churches to prevent wet precious tapestry, but at this time they were crooked and nailed to the walls at will, with bears skins under their feet. Sir Legras walked into the wooden house and sat down on a chair carved from oak. This chair was obviously not something that ordinary people could have.
"Is this a throne of the lord?" Although Tracy was only the daughter of Nord, the leader of the guild, she had seen many products with her father since she was a child. She could tell at a glance that the seat with inscriptions carved on the armrest was clearly the seat of a lord.
"Yes, it belonged to a lord not long ago." Sir Leglas patted the handrail, and he nodded and said to Tracy.
"Crazy." Tracy was surprised. She didn't expect that Sir Leglas would dare to attack a lord. She tripped under her feet and fell down a shelf on the bearskin next to her, making the silverware and iron candlesticks in the corner very loudly.
"Sorry, I didn't mean it." Tracy's face was a little pale, she stroked her chest and apologized to Sir Leglas.
"Nothing, I have so many such things." Sir Legras didn't care at all. Indeed, such silver and gold were piled silently in another corner.
"Did you grab these things?" Tracy looked around and silently estimated in her heart that the property here was absolutely valuable, and there was no problem even buying a manor, but strangely, Sir Leglas let them pile up and had no intention of using them at all.
"Yes, robbery is my only skill," Sir Leglas leaned back in the back of the chair, and he said to Tracy.
"Then are you kidnapping me for ransom?" Tracy grabbed her collar and looked at the strange knight wearing a demon mask in front of her. Could it be that the demon knight knew that she was the daughter of the leader of the guild, Nord, so she wanted to use her to blackmail the ransom.
"No, do you think I still need to use kidnapping to claim ransom?" Sir Legras picked up the wine pot on the table next to the seat and poured herself a glass of wine. The smell of wine in the cabin was suddenly emitted. Tracy couldn't help swallowing. To be honest, she was indeed thirsty all the way, and nothing was more quenching than a glass of such high-quality wine.
"What's that for?" Tracy asked puzzledly.
"Give you wine." Sir Legras poured another glass of wine, got up and handed it to Tracy. Although he was worried about whether the wine would poison, Tracy was too thirsty. She picked up the glass and took a sip. Now she could hardly stop. The sweet wine poured into her throat and drank smoothly along her throat.
"Ah, what a delicious wine, thank you sir." Tracy drank the wine in the cup in one breath, a hint of rosy appeared on her face, thanking Sir Leglas.
"Of course, this is wine from Milan." Sir Legras pointed to the wine pot and said to Tracy.
"So, jazz, why did you kidnap me?" After drinking the sweet wine, Tracy felt much more excited. She mustered up the courage to ask the knight wearing a demon mask, chain mail and leather armor.
"I saw you painting by the lake. Do you know how to draw?" Sir Leglas looked at Tracy and said to her.
"Learn a little." Tracy was very surprised. Is this the reason why Sir Leglas kidnapped him?
"So you can draw portraits of people?" Sir Legras continued.
"Yes, but I'm not very good at painting. If you want to find someone to paint a portrait for you, you can find a real painter." Tracy opened her eyes wide and she stuttered.
"No need, you'll let you go home after you finish painting a portrait." Sir Leglas said to Tracy.
"Draw a portrait?" Tracy was shocked. She didn't expect that Sir Leglas would actually want to paint a portrait for him.
While he was talking, Sir Legras stretched out his hands to take off his helmet. Tracy was even more shocked when he looked at Sir Legras who took off the demon mask. Because of the rumors among the servants, Sir Legras, the robber knight, had never seen his true face alive, so people say that the Demon Mask is actually his true appearance.
