Chapter 3 White Crane(1/2)

In a trance, Chu Qing felt gently being helped up, and then a warm current flowed in from the top of her head, wandering around her soothingly, and the pain in her body gradually faded. Then she lightened her body and was picked up.

With a sharp sound, Chu Qing wanted to open her eyes several times, but she had no strength and had to give up in the end.

I don't know how long it took, Chu Qing felt her body spinning and floating in the depths of the unknown darkness. Her body and mind were dominated by an unknown fear, as if the terrifying demon king was laughing fiercely in the distant and boundless bottom of the darkness. She crawled out with great horror, but was also pulled by the huge gravity emitted by the darkness bottom and could not move forward at all.

A familiar and distant voice sounded, as if calling himself above the darkness. The sound seemed to be there, as thin as a fancy spring, as if swallowed by the powerful darkness, but it was intermittent and continuous. While he was hesitating, suddenly, the sound became extremely clear and loud, and immediately turned into a powerful force, dragging himself to climb upwards along the darkness, and the darkness was finally freed from behind.

A huge light suddenly appeared in front of you. With a scream of "ah", Chu Qing sat up suddenly, her clothes were soaked in sweat, and the bangs on her forehead were already sticking together.

After a quick breath, she calmed down slightly and found that she was sitting on the bed. A vague and familiar figure stood beside her. She blinked her eyes and found that it was the scholar Feng Shuzhu after carefully identifying it.

I saw Feng Shuzhu standing quietly by the bed holding an emerald green flute. Her handsome face was wearing a clear smile, and her eyes as bright as stars were staring at her.

"You're awake." The voice was not loud, but full of care.

Chu Qing avoided Feng Shuzhu's gaze, paused before nodding. After a moment of silence, she lowered her head and said lightly: "You saved me?"

"It's not considered a rescue, I just happened to pass by."

It could be heard that Feng Shuzhu did not intend to make him grateful, but Chu Qing's eyes moistened and she still said tremblingly: "Thank you, Brother Feng."

Upon hearing this, Feng Shuzhu was stunned for a moment. It seemed that no one called him like this in his memory, but then he thought that a twelve or thirteen-year-old child seemed to call his elder brother, so he smiled and said, "No need to thank him for some small things."

Perhaps it was because of his life and death that Chu Qing felt both affectionate and admiration for the man in front of him who had saved him, as if he was a dispersed relative who had been looking for for many years.

Feng Shuzhu saw Chu Qing silently, as if she was thinking about something, thought for a moment and said lightly: "Are you hungry? I'll prepare some food?" After that, without waiting for Chu Qing to answer, she stepped forward and helped Chu Qing lie down, covered her quilt, turned around and walked out.

After hearing the slight sound of the door, Chu Qing felt that she was alone in the huge room. She lay on the bed, staring at the top, recalling all the experiences last night, as if she was like a dream.

In the room, the tents are hanging lightly, the tables are neat and spotless. A piece of fragrant wood is burning in the delicate and small incense burner on the ground. There is only a little red spot but no fog. The faint fragrance lingers, which makes people feel peace in peace.

Before he knew it, Chu Qing calmed down and didn't want to recall the terrifying scene. Her eyelids sank and she fell asleep.

When she opened her eyes again, the moon was already on the branches outside the window, and the lights inside were dim. Feng Shuzhu sat quietly at the table. Seeing Chu Qing wake up, she picked up the wick a few times, making the lights much brighter.

"How are you sleeping? Do you feel better? Do you want to eat something?"

A series of concerns made Chu Qing feel warm again. She nodded first, then shook her head slightly.

Seeing this, Feng Shuzhu walked over with a smile, lifted the quilt, reached out to help Chu Qing up, and put a pillow on his back, and said lightly: "Because the demonic power in your body backfire, I was seriously injured last night. I am afraid that in a short period of time, you will no longer be able to use your magic power." As he said, he turned around and picked up the soup bowl from the table, scooped a small spoonful of soup, blew it gently with his mouth, and sent it to Chu Qing's mouth, and said: "This is the soup made from the thousand-year-old spiritual ginseng, which is very beneficial to restoring vitality."

Chu Qing looked at Feng Shuzhu with watery eyes, revealing a hint of sweetness. She opened her mouth slightly and took a small sip, but immediately frowned and avoided it.

"Isn't it very bitter? This spiritual ginseng has been growing in the mountains for thousands of years. It is indeed stronger than ordinary ginseng, but it is more effective." Feng Shuzhu said with a smile, scooped up another spoonful of soup in his hand and sent it over.

Upon hearing this, Chu Qing looked at the soup shaking bright yellow in the spoon, as if she was a little embarrassed. She paused for a moment before raising her hand to signal her to drink.

Feng Shuzhu didn't even force her, so she handed over the bowl and spoon.

As if he had made such a difficult choice, Chu Qingfang frowned for a while, scooped up a spoonful of soup by himself. After hesitating for a while, he drank with his eyes closed.

Feng Shuzhu watched her actions from the side, and couldn't help laughing. She turned around and pointed to the food box on the table, and said lightly: "Do you want to eat something?"

After Chu Qing drank the Thousand Years of Lingginseng Soup, her spirit seemed to be much better. He looked at Feng Shuzhu with a strange look and said, "Big Brother, can you cook vegetables and make soup?"

Feng Shuzhu smiled and said, "I am the only one here, and I need to do everything myself."

Upon hearing this, Chu Qing's eyes lit up and she said happily: "Then teach me, big brother."

Feng Shuzhu looked at Chu Qing, nodded and said, "I will teach you after a few days."

When Chu Qing heard this, she was immediately overjoyed. The child's heart and character were revealed and begged: "Brother, that's better than tomorrow, just teach me."

Feng Shuzhu's mouth moved and shook her head and said, "Tomorrow won't work. I'm afraid your injury will take some rest."

Upon hearing this, Chu Qing rolled her eyes and said, "I'm fine anymore. If you don't believe me, look, I can stand up." As she said that, she wanted to stand up on the bed, but when Fang exerted force, a severe pain came from her chest. She immediately fell down again, and the bowl and spoon in her hand almost fell off.

"How is the child's temperament? It hurts." Feng Shuzhu said as he reached out to take the bowl and spoon, turned around and placed it on the table.

After a while, the pain eased. Chu Qing clenched her fists and said angrily: "This old monster with worms, next time I meet him, I will definitely peel him and get cramps."

Feng Shuzhu heard this and did not answer, but smiled and shook her head.

Seeing this, Chu Qing thought for a while and suddenly said, "By the way, big brother, why did you let that old monster go? Didn't you, the righteous sword immortal, say that good and evil are incompatible?"

Feng Shuzhu looked at Chu Qing and slowly said, "The old demon in the worm is pitiful, and he has never had any serious mistakes before, so he should not be punished." As he said that, he paused slightly and said, "How can it be easy to distinguish between good and evil? There are also those who clear away the demonic path and are dedicated to goodness in the right path, and those who rely on magic power to do evil."

Although Chu Qing didn't understand a little, she still nodded convincingly. At this time, she only felt that the man in front of her knew a lot.

"By the way, where did you live? Why did you appear in Shimen Town that day?" Feng Shuzhu asked with a flash of inspiration in his eyes.

Chu Qing seemed to recall a little, and said with a gloomy expression: "Brother, my family was originally in Qingning Valley across the river from Shimen Town. Since my mother passed away, I have lived alone for a while. Later, when I encountered natural disasters, Qingning Valley was destroyed. Later, I turned into a human form, but because I had no choice but to float around."

Feng Shuzhu nodded, as if thinking, and then said for a moment: "Besides absorbing the essence of the sun and the moon, have you practiced any other methods?"

When Chu Qing heard this, she looked at Feng Shuzhu in confusion and said in confusion: "Other methods?"

Feng Shuzhu seemed to hesitate, looked at Chu Qing, and said, "You have a strong sense of hostility in your body, but you don't know why it comes."

Upon hearing this, Chu Qing shook her head slowly and said, "I don't know this, I just remember that as soon as I get angry, there will be a force in my body wandering, and then I will lose consciousness. As for what method I have practiced, I will just be a little trick to fool people."

When Feng Shuzhu heard this, he stopped asking more. Instead, he pointed to the food box on the table and smiled and said, "Let's eat some food, otherwise it will be cold."

When Chu Qing heard this, she opened her eyes wide and said happily: "I'm just about to taste the big brother's skills."

Feng Shuzhu smiled, turned around and opened the food box, took out a few plates of side dishes from it, picked up some of them, put them in an empty bowl, and gave them to Chu Qing, and said, "You used to eat meat, so you must endure this meal first, but there is only vegetarian food here."

Chu Qing took the bowl and chopsticks, picked up a tender white dish slice with chopsticks, looked at it with a surprised look, and asked, "Big brother, what kind of dish is this?"

"This is a vegetarian fried bamboo shoot. These bamboo shoots are grown in the bamboo forest behind the house. The most important thing when stir-frying this dish is to grasp the heat, otherwise the bamboo shoots will be easily fried. Moreover, before stir-frying, you must roll the chopped bamboo shoots in boiling water several times to remove the bitterness." Feng Shuzhu explained with relish, as if he enjoyed the cooking process.

Upon hearing this, Chu Qing put it in her mouth curiously, chewed it for a few times, and immediately said, "Well, the taste is really tender, crisp and smooth."

Then he picked up another piece of green dish, opened his eyes wide, and said, "What kind of dish is this?"

Feng Shuzhu smiled and said, "This is a wild vegetable unique to Yusun Peak. It is undefeated all seasons, green and tender, and stir-fried with mushroom soup, which is extremely delicious."

After hearing this, Chu Qing couldn't help but take a bite, and immediately praised: "Yeah, it's delicious, big brother, I think your skills are better than the chef of Zuixiaoju, Shimen Town."

Feng Shuzhu smiled and said, "It seems that you have been going to Zuixiaoju to steal food a lot."

Upon hearing this, Chu Qing snickered and hurriedly said, "It's just a few times."

But in their hearts, they both felt that the other party was no longer so strange, as if they had become their own family, friendly and easy.

Chu Qing no longer cared about anything else, held the dishes and ate them unrestrainedly. During this period, she also asked Feng Shuzhu to add food twice, until she burped her mouth, and smiled and said, "Brother, the food you cook is really delicious, I will definitely learn from you in the future."

Feng Shuzhu smiled, looked out the window and said, "It's getting late, you can rest early."

Chu Qing seemed to like chatting with Feng Shuzhu very much, and she was still not satisfied, but she nodded slightly. Feng Shuzhu helped Chu Qing lie down, tucked the corners of the quilt, put down the curtains, turned off the lamps, packed up the dishes, and carried the food box out.

※※※※※※※※※※※※※※※

The sunlight coming through the window through the curtains spread evenly on the bed, bringing the gentle warmth, as if the mother's palm gently caressed herself. Although she had woken up, Chu Qing still didn't want to open her eyes, but hid her body under the quilt, nostalgic for this rare sense of security.

Just because a seed of trust has been planted in Chu Qing's childlike heart, that is, as long as the wind and bamboo are there, there will be no danger.

Suddenly, a loud and loud sound of a crane came from outside the window. When I was fighting with the old demon in my memory, Feng Shuzhu's "Jiugao Demon Subduing Song" sounded like this. Chu Qing was shocked, and a thought flashed through her mind. It was that the elder brother was outside, so she immediately lifted the quilt and got out of bed happily. She didn't even have time to wear her shoes, so she pushed the door out.

When I walked out of the door, I looked up and saw a tall crane standing on a large bluestone next to the bamboo forest. Its head was red and golden-eyed and iron beak. Except for two points of black at the neck, it was snow-white all over and was nine feet tall. It was picking hair and combing feathers there.

Seeing that there was movement, the crane raised his eyes and saw Chu Qing. His eyes suddenly became sharp. When his wings spread, a strong wind blew, rolling up the flying sand and stones, making it difficult to open its eyes.

How could Chu Qing have seen such a formation? She was stunned for a moment. When she raised her eyes again, she saw an iron beak coming towards her. She immediately closed her eyes and fell to the ground.

In the midst of lightning, a loud shout came from the air: "Xiaojiu, no!"

Chu Qing heard it was Feng Shuzhu's voice. When she opened her eyes, she saw that Feng Shuzhu was already standing in front of her, and the big crane was standing behind him.

Feng Shuzhu looked at Chu Qing who was still in shock, reached out to pull it, and smiled and said, "This is the crane raised by the eldest brother, you don't have to be so scared." He said that, turning around, pointing at the crane and saying, "I named it Xiaojiu, it has been with me for more than a hundred years."

Chu Qing stood up when she heard this, but hid behind Feng Shuzhu, peeked at the crane's eyes, but still felt scared.

Feng Shuzhu turned around and said, "Xiaojiu, this is Chu Qing. You should treat her like you are your family in the future."

Hearing this, the crane looked at Chu Qing, then looked at Feng Shuzhu, flapped its wings twice, made a loud cry, and then extended its head to Chu Qing.

Chu Qing glanced at Feng Shuzhu who was standing aside and smiling without saying a word. After hesitating for a moment, she carefully stretched out her hand and touched the crane's neck feather. Seeing that the crane had no resistance, she happily stroked it a few more times before the crane retracted its long neck.

Feng Shuzhu saw it, nodded, and said, "Xiao Jiu is full of spirituality. No ordinary sword immortal is its opponent. He should have discovered that you are an alien and mistakenly thought it was a heretic who was disturbing him."

"Xiaojiu..." Chu Qing repeated: "This name sounds very good. Big brother, you can call me Qing'er in the future."

Feng Shuzhu was stunned and immediately smiled and said, "Okay, Qing'er, Xiaojiu..., well, not bad."

The big crane beside him seemed to understand it, and whirled gently at Chu Qing, slowly flapped its wings twice, and jumped twice on the spot, causing Feng Shuzhu and Chu Qing to laugh.

"Qing'er, it seems that Xiaojiu likes you very much, and I don't know how your body feels. If you can walk around, why don't you let Xiaojiu take you around and learn about your new home."

Upon hearing this, Chu Qing didn't know how happy she was, and she didn't even think about it, and immediately said, "Brother, I'm much better. Apart from using mana, there is no problem walking around."

Feng Shuzhu heard this and said to the crane: "Since that's the case, then Xiaojiu, please take Qing'er around."

The crane named Xiaojiu actually stretched over his long neck and pulled Chu Qing's clothes with the crane's beak, signaling him to follow it.

Chu Qing was surprised and happy. Seeing Feng Shuzhu nodding with a smile, she followed Xiaojiu happily and walked forward.

Under Xiaojiu's leadership, he walked along the front of the house only a few feet away and then arrived at the edge of the cliff at the top of the peak. Xiaojiu let out a low voice to signal Chu Qinghuan to look around.

Chu Qing looked around, but this look was not important, but she was shocked. But she saw that the surrounding mountains seemed to be thousands of miles away, and the peaks at her feet were independent and in the sky. The top of the peak was open, and there were two houses built towards the sun. The two houses on the right were single-story, and the left was a double-story building with simple and meticulous carved window railings. The half-enclosed style was full of sparse bamboo forests until the eastward direction, slender and soft, with green roots, and thick fallen leaves were covered with thick fallen leaves.

As Xiaojiu came to the west of the house again, it was flat and wide. He saw a huge rock stretching out, shining with blue and black, facing the abyss of thousands of feet. The surface of the rock was flat and smooth, and the light was shining. The huge word "Moon Sea" was engraved in small seal script.

Xiaojiu brought Chu Qing to the back of the house again and saw a deep path in the bamboo forest, made of green rocks. The broken sun shone through the top of the forest and scattered on the bluestone path, dancing lightly with the wind, and the light spots flashed. Along the path, I saw a natural stone cave. The cliff wall on the side of the cave entrance said the four words "falling into the water and passing through the stone". Chu Qing walked into the cave curiously and found that the cave was not big. A ray of sunlight shone through the fine cracks of the rock on the top of the cave, shining on a stone bed. On the top, there was a huge "博" character engraved on the rock wall three feet away opposite the stone bed, and some strange symbols were engraved around it. There was a clear water jar beside the stone bed. The water seeped out from the cave wall fell into the jar. Out of the child's curiosity, Chu Qing jumped onto the stone bed and looked carefully at the top of the cave. He found that there was a natural crack in the top of the cave. The sunlight in the cave came in through it, both big and small, just enough to have enough lighting in the cave.
