Marlan's Extra Story (Part 1)

My specific plan is to let Ronin and Gianna put this thing next to Arugao, and wait until he was ordered to lead the werewolf to siege the main city of Gilness, and after we appeared there in a few of us in a griffin, they both attacked Arugao.

I gave the plan to Jaina and Ronin, and I left them, and myself and the Griffon's troops went to the eastern border area between them and Fort Rapids to cross to Gilness.

Indeed, it takes a long time and it is difficult to ensure that the journey will not be revealed. But there is no other way. I can only hope that they will fight internal wars and have no time to take care of some unnecessary borders to allow us to pass smoothly. Otherwise, we may have to fight with Gilness's border troops first. If it is not going well, we will even cancel our plan and let Gilness face the werewolf without Arugao alone. In this way, no matter what their victory or defeat, the plan to immediately take Gilness may not be realized.

I thought that in fact, things might be easier to deal with here in the Red Dragon, because they can pass through the clouds, and such a height can exceed their horizons, but the reality can only rely on those griffins, and I seem to have overlooked one problem, that is, most of the Lordaeron people are not good at riding such as flying beasts ascending to heaven. Especially those of Ronin's disciples, most of them are from poor backgrounds and have not learned how to control these creatures at all.

Just when I saw an angry griffin throwing an apprentice who had conflict with him to the ground, the situation might be worse than I thought. Its actions also led to other griffin, showing stubbornness and collective consciousness like dwarves. Maybe if this matter cannot be calmed down well, my plan will even be forced to be cancelled now... I frowned, but at this time, I stood up alone.

"You can't do this." Marlan hurriedly stopped the mage apprentice who tried to use magic to teach him a lesson. After touching the griffin with the right hand of the holy light, they felt something and became quiet instantly and were extremely close to it. Even the griffin actually rubbed Marlan like a **, and at the same time, other similar people stopped calling, and the situation was controlled.

I looked a little fascinated. Yes, her behavior was indeed a bit free and easy and cute, so I doubted that she was really a Silver Hand veteran who had participated in the Orc War. But I soon stopped doubting this because there was a person who looked much younger than her, and her actual age might be several times hers.

I quickly withdrew my imagination, but this behavior must not be hidden from Sylvanas beside me, but she didn't seem to care about this, or she thought of something more important.

"It's been a long time since I saw the Holy Light, which makes people calm..." Sylvanas was also very pleased with such a scene, but she seemed to remember something... "Althuss, why haven't I seen you use the Holy Light like this."

"I did a lot before, but now I... haven't had the chance to use it." I said, yes, now I think about it now, except for often doing this when I was an apprentice, I used it when I was a Varian and Itrig. After that, even a few healings, I almost forgot that the Holy Light has such abilities... But this is not the point, as long as the matter is solved, I thought, but when I saw this in my heart, I seemed to have overlooked something... and this may not be just this ability. "I often use it in the future."

"After this war?"

"Hope, but that's all a story." I didn't say anything to Sylvanas, but turned to everyone and my own topic. "Get ready to go!"

As everyone kicked their mounts, our team was also out. On the road, especially after seeing the scene just now, and after the conversation between Sylvanas and me, I intuition told myself that this plan seemed to have overlooked some things. I did not discuss this concern with her, but because I firmly believed that the plan was seamless, because I thought there would be no big loss if it failed.

For example, I asked Gianna and Ronin to pay attention to their own situation. If I feel there is no chance, then give up this plan and then fight against werewolf head-on according to the original worst-case scenario. Anyway, compared to before the plan begins, I have to face werewolf. Similarly, if our team fails to complete the task of saving gray-haired hair, it cannot defeat the werewolf, or the werewolf is still so bloody after losing Arugao's control. If we can't defeat it, then we can give up and just run on the griffin. After all, we are not responsible for the safety of the people of Gilness.

I thought about this question again, but I was still worried about ignoring something, but in my subconscious mind, I could not see any changes in my appearance, and I knew that I must also show firmness in front of everyone, and in front of my soldiers and partners who respect me and care about me.

Just walked like this, after day, we crossed the eastern border of Gilness and came to an empty camp. Yes, I wanted to avoid it at the beginning, but after Sylvanas decided that there was no one here, I decided to stay here overnight. Also at her prompt, I also noticed that there was a fire in the direction of Gilness's Royal City, which seemed to indicate that there was a civil strife inside them. Arugao believed the message of the scale and had already fought with his king.

Seeing this, my heart couldn't help feeling a little comfortable. For us now, as long as we have a good rest and replenish our energy, we can go to the main city of Gilnes to see if gray-haired is still alive. Of course, as for the final decision, we can still see it according to the situation at that time...

The Gilness soldiers who landed at the camp were suddenly transferred, so the facilities were complete and the food in the granary was enough for us. Although we brought emergency food on the way, compared to these ready-made food, we had no reason not to enjoy some of their ready-made food.

The reserves here are not very large, just enough for us assault teams to eat for a day. I don’t know that there is only such a small amount of food in such a border garrison. This also shows in one aspect that their food is really not much. Even if the army is like this, then the civilians will not be able to go anywhere.

I thought so, and I did not feel sorry for the experience of the Gilness people because of this situation. If Uther knew that I thought so, I would scold me for forgetting the love of the Paladin, and turned into a war maniac, and even called me a madman, but in reality he was not here, and even so, she would definitely not know what I thought.

That's right, I just considered the strategy of the enemy and felt glad for it. I believed that in the near future, the entire Gilness would be able to be dragged down, so that the gray-haired mantle would actively compromise, or force him to attack our border again, and then consume it under our defense. After that, we can take over the entire Gilness.

Thinking of this, I couldn't help but smile, because this can illustrate one problem, that is, even if my plan failed this time, I would be sure to win. After all, our reserves are enough for us to pass this autumn, and when Kurtiras's assistance arrives, Gilness will probably be more difficult to stalemate with us by that time. In this way, Gilness will definitely lose.

Because of the sufficient food, our griffin mounts can fill their stomachs without going out. They can eat these raw foods directly, and we don’t have to cook the food like this. Maybe we shouldn’t have fired it like this, but thinking that there wouldn’t be any Gilness soldiers coming back here, we decided to spend the night comfortably first.

But at this moment, the bonfire still attracted others. Many people flocked to the camp. I think they thought we would be the reinforcements of the Rapids Fort with a cold lips, but when they saw that we were Lordaeron, they immediately showed their vigilance. It was just that the food was the best and some of us Silver Hand signs did not allow them to leave immediately. Instead, they chose to wait for the situation outside the camp.

Yes, their appearance has also aroused our alertness, after all, no one can guarantee that they are just civilians, or that they do not riots for food.

Some of us who raise our weapons have figured out how to deal with this situation, and may be hesitant to the other caring silver hands among us, and look at me.

"What should we do?"

Sylvanas asked seriously, obviously she understood the consequences of the change of life and people, but as an elf, she thought she didn't have much say, or she knew that I would definitely have similar ideas to her... so she sought my opinion.

"Your Highness, we should give them all the food!" Yes, I was the same as Sylvanas thought, but before I could speak, Marland gave me the order. He even ordered the Silver Hands to do this before I allowed him. The others saw that I had no rebuttal and did not stop them, although they looked as reluctant as I was in my heart...

"General Marland, do we still need to eat emergency food in such a place?"

He didn't believe in the doctrine of Holy Light, and the straightforward Sylvanas retorted to her, yes, even a fool knew that he could not allocate resources to the enemy's people, especially when he was dealing with some special tasks like this.

"We are the hands of silver, and we must protect the weak people." Faced with Sylvanas's opposition, Marlan did not agree with it, and firmly believed that I would not object to such a move. I would not express it in words, but how could Sylvanas easily tolerate it?

"Waste people? Don't werewolfs appear weak in front of the alliance? Then will you remember your teachings of the Holy Light when you see them?"

"Of course, it is my ideal to wear a horse on the battlefield." Marlan said with his hands in harmony. Perhaps she saw that I had reluctant thoughts, so she changed her very realistic statement... "They are human beings like us. Even if we ignore the teachings of the Paladins, we will be classified as our alliance sooner or later, so we cannot lose the people's hearts here now. Aren't we?"

She turned to me as she said, and these truths really made me unable to refuse, especially in the hands of Silver, her qualifications are far higher than me, and she could even sue Uther... Thinking of this, I no longer insisted on my inner opinions.

"Well, we can share the food to them..."

As soon as the order was issued, no one refused to influx of nearby Gilness villagers. Everyone distributed the food in the warehouse and even the food to be cooked in the pot. Looking at this scene, I felt a little reluctant... After all, I had nothing to say to give food to the refugees, but this was to give the enemy hungry, which really made me feel unwilling to accept it.

Only by thinking about how they can integrate into our Lordaeron in the future can they accept their own mood. However, for Sylvanas, such a scene is a different mood at this moment, and she is just standing in a beautiful place at this moment with anger.

"Alsace, I didn't expect you to agree to put the villagers in. What if there is a riot among them? And food, are we going to consume our urgent food here? What should we do if we have other emergency responses?" After Sasarian and Melvin behind me walked into her, I rolled my eyes when I came up. In this regard, they wisely chose to retreat and watch my good show in a place not far or near.

"Maybe, but we originally planned not to have such ready-made food..." I looked around and said to her after confirming that there was no one else, "It would be nice to have a place to sleep peacefully."

"But our whereabouts have been revealed by Gilness. If the werewolf did not coup and the Gilness army here was temporarily transferred because of other things, then it would be very dangerous for us here."

"You know, this is impossible, and there is no one left..." I said sternly, but when I saw her angry attitude, my voice fell down instantly, "So someone has to watch..."

"This is of course, but I would rather these Gilnesses leave immediately after taking the things, rather than wandering around here."

"Yes, I will ask them to leave here after receiving the food, but as for us being revealed, there is nothing we can do. I can only hope that they will not report our whereabouts. But I think about the villagers who don't even have food, how can they do such things again?"

"Maybe, but it's best to be careful." Sylvanas no longer argued with me about this matter. Perhaps she knew that she could not change the decision of a Silver Hand on 'faith'. "I really hope she can wrap our bodies..."

"Silvanas! How do you curse her? Even if she conflicts with you in her words, you won't think so."

"No, I didn't think so. I just thought her technique. If she was going to do something she thought was just, sometimes, they wouldn't necessarily obey your orders."

"Well...not just her, but almost all of the Silver Hands." I thought about it, it was true. If I implemented some extreme policies, maybe they would resist me. Thinking of this, I couldn't help but shake my head. But I could not implement such policies, so it would be fine. "If they were fighting for justice, there was nothing to refute."

"But if she did this on the battlefield and sympathized with the enemy, what else would she do?"

"How is it possible that she has participated in a war with orcs, have you forgotten?"

"That's facing orcs, but if it's facing Gilness's humans, it's different."

"What we are going to deal with iswolves, how can we get involved with the Gilness?"

"But according to our original plan, if the werewolf becomes violent and we choose to escape, do you think she will abandon the Gilnesses and leave with us? He will even take away all the silver hands, and even let them ruin it with her. Then your original plan to reduce losses will be completely lost."

"Yes, your worries are not without reason... I originally wanted them to come after my healing ability..." I couldn't help but sweat when I heard this. I knew that if things were really as Sylvanas worried, I might lose a generation of silver hand this time. "Then what good will you do?"

“You should learn from Turayan.”

"he?"

"Just treat Uther and the others in the war between Orcs, when my sister said that Turayan was also very entangled by the firm beliefs of his colleagues."

"I understand, and I did ignore it." I regretted it. The problem I ignored seemed to have some clues, but since Sylvanas knew this, I couldn't help but feel a little doubtful. "Since you know this, why are you reminding me now.

"Arsace, soldiers and generals, must obey orders, and if they cannot do so, but do so by their subjective consciousness, it is very dangerous, and most of you Silver Hands are, so..."

Sylvanas was hesitant when he said this, but I seemed to understand something.

"So you want to use this time to find out, how many younger generations of silver hands are loyal to national interests or faith?"

"Yes...but don't worry, I have told Jaina and Ronin that whether they succeed in assassinating Arugao or not, they will be with us, and then let their spells take away the devouts who stay here."

"Yeah, it's great..." I was a little satisfied with her arrangement, but as for other things, I had to start doing it, that is, to cultivate the Silver Hand, to make them realize the most important thing... Of course, I am also sure that some of them can do it now, such as Renault, who questioned his father from the bottom of his heart and the Silver Hands who were close to him... But as for more other people, I really can't say.

"...I don't know how many of them need to take away this way, nor do I know if Jaina and Ronin's ability can be achieved."

I just thought a little far away, and this made me only notice the last few words Sylvanas had just said, before I came to my senses, and thought of some things from her prompts, that is, the inducement of the establishment of the Blood Crusade, that is, the Paladins suffered a huge blow.

"Under the leadership of Turayan, the war with the orcs did not lose several silver hands. If a few younger generations were sacrificed this time, I wonder if they would continue to uphold their ideals like this and whether they would become fanatical."

"Maybe there will be some changes, but are you willing to let it go? They are Lordaeron's future elites."

"But if they really insist, then I can only say that there will always be sacrifices in war..."

I smiled strangely and showed my heart. I originally thought Sylvanas would be shocked when he heard this sentence, but the reality was that she couldn't help but smile like me and entered my arms, and looked at her...

"If you say that, I seem to have seen someone who might have to fulfill the will she just said."

I couldn't help but feel a little shocked in my heart when I said this. Yes, although I was a little disgusted with the firm belief of the Paladin like Marland, I would never give her a task that I would never return.

"No, we can't do this! I have to let her go back first, or..." My face instantly showed concern, and she pulled her away. I realized that this was just a worry. After all, there was a way for Ronin and the others to teleport her back and forced her away, but I undoubtedly let Sylvanas see through my thoughts at a glance, at least she could think so.

"Haha, it seems that you still care about her very much. Do you want to accommodate her too?"

"No! I said, there is only Jaina and you in my heart."

"Yeah?"

Sylvanas smiled and doubted my words. Perhaps this was not her intention, but some of her thoughts. I couldn't help but reveal the most primitive nature in my heart.

"Of course..." I looked around and had an ear canal with her, "I just wanted to possess her, after all, she was in charge of the entire silver hand of the younger generation..."

"I see."
